SCHEDULE A BOQ

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided, complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of GI (corrugated, semi-corrugated) sheet in roof covering complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified or as directed

M & L for cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40 mm graded aggregrate as in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed

S & F Steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc complete using ERW or induction butt, welded tubes conforming to IS 1161-1979 grade ST-240 complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F mild steel joist, channel, angle, or tee sections, fixed independently, without connecting plates, etc. (cut to ordinary lengths i.e. within 20mm of the length indicated) conforming to Fe-410- W(Gde- E-250) quality- B complete all as specified and directed.

S & F mild steel roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) including distance pieces, cleats etc. conforming to Fe-410- W(Gde- E-250) quality- A complete all as specified and directed

S&F MS plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with riveted, bolted or welded attachment conforming to Fe-410- W(Gde- E-250) quality- A complete all as specified and directed

M&L Preparation of new steel surface of any description over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for item No 11 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e ) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

S&F Pre painted Coloured corrugated Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based Plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/ cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 22 & 23:- (Pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing) :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

Surface dressing n exc 15cm deep in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed

M&L Hardcore of gauge exceeding 63 mm of broken stones or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 100 mm thick in 1:3:6, type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as in sub base flooring complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PCC 40 mm thick in 1:2:4, type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, as in flooring including finishing the cement concrete surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75mm thick, plain cement concrete (1:3:6), type C-2 (using 40 mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates), as in plinth protection/path/hard standing including making joints @ 3.00 metre intervals and at each corner, the joint shall be filled with mastic filling (to full depth) comprising of one part heated hot blown bitumen 85/25 & two parts heated sand (by volume), surface finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Item No 32 :- The concrete shall be laid at a stretch not exceeding 3 metre in length and width of joint shall not be more than 12 mm.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars,etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stone work and pre-cast concrete articles complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, type C-1, PCC 1:3:6 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings, roof in any position including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc. complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or concrete wall surfaces, first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 37 :- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound

M & L preparation of new or plastered or unplastered surface of wall and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L preparation of new plastered or unplastered surface of wall and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of alkali resistant priming paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frame(wooden/steel) not exceeding 1.5 Sqm each with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing factory made UPVC white colour Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead /double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window above 1.75 sqm) comprising of uPVC multi chambered frame, with inbuilt roller track and sash extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), appropriate dimension of uPVC extruded glazing beads and uPVC extruded interlocks, EPDM gasket, wool pile, zinc alloy (white powder coated) touch locks with hook, zinc alloy body with single nylon rollers (weight bearing capacity to be 40 kg), G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall and necessary stainless steel screws etc. and provided with Clear Glass of Saint Gobain / Modiguard make with thickness of 4mm and stainless steel wire cloth of 0.19mm nominal dia. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealent over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Note for item No 43 :- For UPVC frame and sash extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Dismantling ceiling/boarding, any description, fixed in any position with nails complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L False ceiling using GI snap grid size 60x60cm with main runner 38x24,wall angle & cross tee 29x24mm wall angle 24x24mm suspended with 4mm dia GI Wire fixed with steel dash fasteners carrying max load upto 8.1 Kg/Sqcm with 4mm thick designer ceiling board complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavating in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc not exc 10 sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out hard/dense of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soil all as specified and as directed.

M & L Reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4, type B-0 using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in Beams, cantilevers, bressummers, lintels over 1.5m span complete all as specified and as directed

S&F High strength corrosion resistant TMT steel bars of Grade Fe–500 of 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping, hooking ends and binding with annealed mild steel wire not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips or welded complete all as specified and directed.

S&F High strength corrosion resistant, TMT steel bar of grade Fe-500, 5 mm dia and above and up to 10 mm dia cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia., or securing with clips in stirrups , spacers and binders etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L formwork to sides and soffits of floor or roof beams, beam haunchings, girders, bressummers, lintels, cantilevers, shelves including supports, overhangs, etc. also splays between floors and beams, etc. rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional inter connection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achieve earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( The rate of earthing strip up to 7.5 Mtrs is included in the quoted rate).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including dry or rocky soil.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanently welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuinity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

S & F Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 74 :- The contractor shall submit load bearing capacity certificate from the manufacturer.

S & F Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 76 :- All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

S&F in repair epoxy base insulators of suitable size 40mm height for fixing copper earth strip on wall/ceiling/floor/poles etc. complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour, earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level),with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, eart plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, magnesium sulphate (1 : 1 : .5), electrode connections using copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of brazing / welding connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanised iron pipe light grade 40mm dia bore nd watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade with funnel and wire mesh including all necessary(excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete including dismantling of existing earthing complete all as specified and directed.

Note for Item No 79:- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) Copper strip 20x3 mm up to 7.5m shall be deemed to be inclusive for the quoted rate and beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately.

(c) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(d) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(e) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 3 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone without extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

M & L earthing with Galvanised Earth Plate Electrode 600x600x 6mm thick burried directly in Ground (Earth Pit not less than 2.25 Metre below Ground Level) with Top edge of the Plate not less than 1.50 Metre below Ground Level, connected with Galvanised Earth Strip of size 32x6mm by means of Bolts, Nuts, Check Nuts and Washers of GI or Steel and connected Earthing Testing Point/Bus-bar including GI 40mm bore (dia) light grade Protection Pipe, Earth Plate surrounded by a packed thickness of Char Coal or Coke Dust mixed with Common Salt, Magneisum Sulphate (1 : 1 : 0.5) in alternate layers of not exc 150mm thick, PCC Pit in Cement Concrete 1:3:6, type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and Pre-cast RCC Cover Slab of size 350x350x50 mm in Cement Concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with 10mm dia TMT Bars @ 100mm Centre to Centre in both ways, GI Wire Mesh, Funnel with GI Watering Pipe 20mm bore (dia) medium grade including necessary Excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling in and removal of surplus Spoil disposal to out side MD land and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I and testing on Completion including taking down old unserviceable one, complete all as per specified and directed.

Note for Item No 85:- (a) All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

(b) GI strip 32x6 mm shall be deemed to be inclusive for the quoted rate

(c) After completion of work earthing shall be tested by the contractor in presence of Engineer-in-Charge, User and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned.

(d) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(e) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone without extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

S & F rotational moulded polythene water storage tank of 2000 Ltrs (3 layered) capacity cylindrical vertical with closed top including 3 Nos GI check nuts and tank nipple of 65 mm to 80mm bore for inlet and outlet hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR part -I complete as directed.

Supply & fix of special monoblock centrifugal pump 7.5 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415Volts, 50 Hz AC, Head range 12-24 Mtr, Discharge 27.3-14.5 LPS, suction and delivery vale size 62 to 100 mm minimum, Power 5.5 KW, IP55 including fitting in given location and connected socket, union fittings and electrical connections with control wire complete all as specified and directed by Engineer -in- Charge.

S & F XLPE insulated, screened, PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium conductor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 50 mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in sunken portion and making adequate slope toward spout pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.
