Dismantling of Asbestos cement (corrugated, semi-corrugated, etc.) & fibre sheets in roof coverings

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm of an colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, sunshades/chajjas in any shape and design by Engr in Charge etc fixed with self tapping screws as specified

S&F Pre-painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm of an colour having tensile strength of 550Mpa as in roof covering/ridge,eaves gutters with end stops,drop ends or nozzles etc as required at site,eaves board etc, fixed with self tapping screws as specified

M&L for 6mm thick asbestos cement, corrugated or semi-corrugated sheets in roofs, walls etc fixed with 'L' or 'J' or cranked hook bolt.

All as per Item No 04 here-in-above but except sheets only.

M&L for asbestos cement two piece adjustable plain wing ridge 6mm thick.

S&F 2mm thick Fibre glass reinforced translucent corrugated sheeting with two corrugation side lap fixe with coach screw and washer in roof, wall etc. fixed flat or bent to a curve of any radius all as directed at site.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 sq. cm and over in section, in any position on unframed works all as specfied and directed by engineer in charge

S&F second class timber scantling hardwood in scantling wrought timber in repairs and remove decayed from site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing surfaces of wood and wood based materials, new or old, of any description and girth, not otherwise described and treated with creosote oild to surface of wood members complete all as spd and directed.

Dismantaling wrought iron or mild steel of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed

M&L for 4mm thick Non asbestos fibre cement building boards fixed or laid/ inserted to timber/GI/Alumi?nium framework with screws on anodised aluminium snap grid frame work for false ceiling the size of grid should be 606mmx605mm including preparation of surface and applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

M&L snap grid ceiling with 19mm thick semi - perforated edge 60x60cm in ceiling board over GI grid prelude XL 24 mm grid main runner height 37mm and secondary runner height 30mm including 2.6mm/2.8mm GI wire suspenders of suitable length as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and directed .

M&L for 10mm thick PVC insulation panels with EPS stuck to 1mm printed PVC sheet suitably placed in and including false ceiling grid made Gl frame work for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channnel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section (not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre including Hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceilling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia. 40mm long complete all as specified as per specification and drawing.

Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning or refixing or removal to Store (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fitting and accessories)

S&F 0.80mm thick plain, galvanised, mild steel sheeting, in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings E37(length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 complete.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry built in cement mortar

M&L for Brickwork with subclass `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6

Taking down cement plaster on brick/stone or concrete walls etc including racking out joints,hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc

M & L for 10 mm thick plastering on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface in CM 1:6 all as to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L for 15 mm thick plastering on fair faces of brickwork or concrete surface in CM 1:4 all as to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement) specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint over a coat of primer with alkali resistant priming paint all as specified and directed.

Preparation of old surfaces of steel of any descreption and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed

Preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper over a coat of primer with alkali resistant priming paint all as specified and directed.

Cutting holes in brick walls in cement mortar for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 as required( Depth of embedded portion of hold tet measured the face of the wall exc half briks but not exc one bricks)

M & L PCC type B1(1:2:4) using 20mm graded aggregate as in copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs like including weathering, slightly rounded for chamfered angles and throating, as directed

Dismantling/demolition floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding/complete and removing rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Coloured Non Skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match with the tile laid over and including 15 mm thick screed in CM 1:6 all as directed.

All as per item No 36 above but as in dado/skirting, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match over and including 10mm thick backing coat in CM 1:4, set and jointed in neat white or coloured cement to match the surfaces of tiles all as specified and directed.

Cutting of tree branches of girth n.exc 30cm dangerously /precariously hanging above bldgs completely all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (upto 3 storied bldgs) Note ; All the precautionery work for the safety of workers are the responsibity of the contractor only.

M & L for removal of plant growth of any descreption & height upto five storied bldgs along soil/Vent/rain water pipe or along wall/roof by injection with chemical glyphospate solution (4% concentration) of 20ml or till refuse by cutting or injecting in stem of plants or roots at 300mm in depth. The area shall then be sprayed with solution 25ml glyphosphate (4% concentration) complete including scaftolding all as specified.Note : Safety precautions like rope, safety belts, helmets , ladder etc shall be responsibility of contractor
