Description of Work / Item(s)

PART - A : VRV - System Outdoor units Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of air cooled VRV outdoor units working on R-410 A/CFC Free refrigerant. The system shall be suitable to operate on 3 phase, 380-415 V, 50 Hz AC supply and shall comprise of all inverter compressors, confirming to the technical specification. The outdoor units of VRV system should be compatible with RoHS Directive. It should be compatible with all type of indoor units like cassettee units, Hi-wall units, False ceiling mounted units, TFA units, floor mounted units etc.The outdoor units should consist of VRV combination as per manufacturer std. air cooled condenser with each unit comprising 2 or 3nos High COP Compressors of which all should be a Variable Speed compressor, condenser fans which have high external static Pressure of upto 78.4Pa with fan grill, fan motor & controls.The Outdoor units should also include microprocessor control panel, internal control and power wiring, internal interconnecting refrigerant pipes, charging ports, system required standard refrigerant charge, high efficiency heat exchange coil, oil seperator, accumulator and all other required accessories, hardwares shall be enclosed in a single enclosure(s). The entire unit shall have weather resistant powder coating paint for withstanding all ambeint conditions for continous operation and the units shall operate at lower noise levels of approx. 70 dB(A). It shall have ease of maintenance by incorporating Automatic Test Function, Memory Function for operational data and centrally controlled as per cooling zones.The system shall be compatible for microprocessor control by being connected with a separate corded central controller for each cooling zone or set of indoor units for informations and controls such as a) operating condition of indoor units, b) zone control, c) Malfunction code display, d) Airflow volume & direction control, e) Ventillation volume & mode control.It shall be further connectable with unified ON/OFF Controller, Schedule Timer and BMS System. This shall include all hardware and necessary inbuilt softwares complete in all respects as per the drawings Note : 1) The VRF/VRV shall have incoming power MCCBs/MCBs as per VRF/VRV unit control panels specifications. 2) The individual PCB should be microprocessor based as compatible for operation from remote controls with all hardwares, software and accessories complete in all respects. 3) Outdoor units shall be with anti-corrosion treatment and all nuts, bolts etc. shall be hot dip galvanizesd steel. 4) Testing, commissioning of VRV systems shall be included by the bidder in the scope of the work. All the consumables including refrigerant and oil for the proposed VRV system shall be under the scope of the bidder. The topping shall be done for any leakage during testing & commissioning of refrigerant (R-410 A/cfc free).
Indoor units
Cassette type (Round flow) units Design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following air cooled VRF/VRV type all directional round flow DX split ceiling mounted cassette type indoor air conditioning unit of following capacity for mounting inside false ceiling confirming to the technical specification of VRF/VRV system and compatible with above Outdoor units. It should comprise of cooling coil, blower with multi speed motor, electronic expansion valve, supply & return air grilles, filters, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, condensate water drain pump with electronic level sensor including cordless remote controllers & installation from ceiling with all required supports, anchor fastners hardwares, interconnecting refrigerant copper piping, support etc. All as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
Hi-wall type units Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of following air cooled VRF/VRV type front flow DX split Hi-wall Decorative type indoor air-conditioning units of following sizes capacity for wall mounting confirming to the technical specification and compatible with above Outdoor units where-in the IDU comprises of refrigerant DX cooling coil, electronic expansion valve, blower with multispeed motor, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, supply & return air grills, filters, thermally insulated condensate water drain line, complete and suitable to operate from cordless remote controller including remote controller along with micro-proccessor based PCB for operation of the indoor units & installation on the wall with all required supports, anchor fasteners hardware’s, with interconnecting refrigerant copper piping, valves, supports etc all as per technical specifications and instructions of Engineer-in-charge and drawings. All the items required to put the hi-wall units into services after conducting all the tests as per specifications, included in the scope of the bidder whether specifically specified or not.
Outdoor Air Processing Units Design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of air cooled VRF/VRV type Outdoor Air processing Treated Fresh Air units of 6.4 TR capacity with 1000 cfm conforming to the technical specification of VRF/VRV system and compatible with above Outdoor units where-in the IDU comprises of refrigerant DX cooling coil, electronic expansion valve, blower with multi speed motor, insulated connection of refrigerant circuit, filters, thermally insulated condensate water drain line, complete and suitable to operate from cordless/ corded remote controller including remote controller along with micro processor based PCB for operation of the indoor units and installation on the ceiling with all required supports, anchor fasteners, hardwares with interconnecting copper piping, valves supports etc. suitable for operation with VRF/VRV system working on R 410 A/ cfc free refrigerant, all complete as per specification and as directed by EIC.
Grilles and Dampers Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of disc valve (polypropelene / steel) of size 100 mm dia with sleeve of 65 mm dia for flexible duct connection all as per standard specification and instruction of EIC
Central Remote controllers Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of central remote controller as per specification corded controller for each coolig zone / floor to perform the following for Indoor units on each floor; A) Temperature of air in the room / area served by indoor units. B) Indication of no. of indoor and outdoor units working. C) ON/OFF condition of indoor units. D)Malfunction code display. E) Airflow volume & direction control. F) Ventillation volume & mode control. Provision of necessary UPS and cabling, etc, if any shall be included in the scope of the item.
KITCHEN VENTILATION
EXHAUST BLOWERS Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of SISW centrifugal kitchen exhaust blower of capacity 6000 CFM at 3 inch static along with SS bird screen, flexible metallic canvas connections, drive arrangement including required foundations and all accessories, high efficiency TEFC Motor & Starter, control wiring, power cable terminations etc. as per drawings, technical specifications & instructions of Engineer-in-charge.
KITCHEN HOOD SITC of SS Kitchen hood made out of 18 SWG sheet along with grease filters and oil drain facility with adequate supports from the slab and/or from the floor, having air flow capacity of 10000 cfm, complete in all respects as per Clause 8.0 of Section 2 of technical specifications, drawings and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. NB: 1) The cost of grease filters along with drain arrangement shall be included under this item and no extra payment shall be made. 2) However, the cost of supporting arrangement shall be paid under Item of (M.S. Structure) of PART C 'Split Ac System & Air Curtains' of this document.
FILTER BANK Fabrication and supply of M.S filter bank along with 4 Ply HDPE Pre-filters (6 Nos.) of size 610 mm x 610 mm x 305 mm, filter frame fabricated out of MS Angle/Channel/I-Section for housing Pre-filters. The filter bank casing shall be fabricated out of 3 mm thick M.S Sheet as per Clause no. 8.0 of section 2 of technical specifications, drawing and as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge.
Ductable Split AC Supply, installation, testing and commisioning (SITC) of ductable type all-weather Split Type A/C with minimum 2 TR nominal cooling capacity along with heating arrangement suitable for 230 V, 50 Hz, single phase AC supply consisting of tubular blower, fan motor, DX cooling coil, filter,ABS fire retardant as body material for indoor unit, control and power panel , supports etc, on/ off timer with advance startup, high capacity compressor, cordless remote control, including pressure testing , air purging using vaccum pump, charging the system with R-410A/CFC free refrigerant as per installation manual for smooth operation of AC’s and as per technical specification and as instructed by E.I.C.
Refrigerant joints Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of refrigerant joints from VRF/VRV manufacturers for VRF/VRV system as per specifications and instruction of EIC. It should have minimum three connections (one inlet and two outlets). Each refrigerant joints sets should form combinedly of suction and discharge line i.e. two nos. of refrigerant joints per set.
Communication cables Supply, laying, testing & commissioning of standard copper 2C x 1.5 sq.mm screened sheilded communication cabling to have interface between outdoor units / controller to individual indoor units and covered into PVC conduit (HMS quality) to be laid on wall/false ceiling & covered ceiling including clamping and supporting as per standard specifications.
Flexible pipe ducting Supply, installation, testing & commisioning of 65 mm dia. Pre-insulated flexible pipe ducting as per standard specifications through 65mm dia GI sleeves installed in walls as per specifications, drawings and instruction of EIC.
GI Ducting Design, supply, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of GI ducting of following sizes for supply from TFA, fresh air ducts and kitchen ventilation ducts complete with turning vanes, access doors, supports etc. as per drawing and specifications
Insulation
Thermal Insulation Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Al foil faced 13mm nitrile rubber insulation class O for TFA ducting and fresh air ducting as per specification. The duct shall be pre cleaned before applying a thin film of manufacturers recommended adhesive. All joints shall be air tight and sealed with aluminmum tape.
Acoustic Insulation Supply,installation,testing & commissioning of 10mm thick acoustic insulation (armoured/ equivalent quality and specification) upto 6m from blower.
Canvas connection, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of fire retardant (upto 250deg. C)flexible canvas connection along with zip for TFA units and exhaust air blower as per specification and instructions of EIC.
Fresh Air Connection Design, supply, fabrication, installation of outdoor air connection made out of GSS, mounted over a wooden frame of required size with rain protection, bird screen Aluminium powder coated rain protection louver damper all as per standard specifications for treated fresh air units and fresh air ducts.
Refrigerant piping Design, Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of the insulated refrigerant piping between outdoor unit to indoor units as per the manufacturer standard. The insulation shall be of 19 mm thick Nitrile rubber class O through out the running length of suction refrigerant piping. The piping shall be laid in shaft, walls/roof/ceiling well supported at specific intervals with wooden batten / mettallic supports and screwed with anchor fasteners for the following sizes of refrigernat piping. The piping laid in open to sun light is to be provided with anti-sun rays coating and the pipes are to be covered with 22 SWG GI ducting suitably and with easy removal facility. All the refrigerant pipelines in terrace shall be installed on MS hot dip galvanized Tray. NB: 1) The sizes and quantities of pipes shown in the drawing are tentative only. The agency upon award of work shall execute the work as per the drawing duly recommended/approved by OEM and cleared by the department.

GI Piping Supply, gfabrication installation and comissioning of GI pipe sleeves of following sizes for refrigerant pipes, condensate drain pipes and flexible fresh air pipe ducts wherever pipes / pipe ducts pass through the beams and walls as per drawing and instruction of Engineer In Charge.
PCC Support 1:2:4 PCC Supposrts/ Foundation as per instructions if EIC.
MS Structural Steel SITC of MS structural steel includeing plates, flanges, angles, I beams etc.as per instructions of EIC

PART - B : Electrical works MAIN M.V PANEL Supply, installation,testing & commissioning of Electrical panel, powder coated floor mounting,front operated for acess cubicle type, totally enclosed, with IP-55 protection with hinged and backable doors. It shall be fabricated from 2mm thick CRCA sheets including interconnections, tinned copper crimping lugs, bonding to earth, suitable for use at 415 V, 3 phase 50 HZ system and suitable for a fault level of 36 KA symmetrical at 415 V complete as per specification, instruction, drawings & approval of E-I-C as below :1) All switchboards shall have provision for entry of cables from the top/bottom as required.2)All live accessible parts shall be shrouded and all equipment shall be finger touch proof. The bus bars insulation shall be with heat shrinkable sleeves. SMC/DMC shrouds and busbar supports shall be used. Notes :- 1) All G.A. & fabrication drawings shall be got approved from the E.I.C. Necessary touch up painting may be done at site, incase if required. The scope includes all tests as specified in department's specification, relevant I.S. and as required by E.I.C, shall have to be performed at factory & at installation site and shall be included in the quoted rate 2) The equipment shall be designed to ensure complete safety during operation inspection, connection of cables etc. 3) Control wires shall be of 1.1 KV 1.5 sq.mm FRLS copper wires and neatly bunched separately and adequately supported so as to prevent sagging and strain on termination. 4) A minimum of 20% spare terminals shall be provided on each terminal block for future requirement. 5) All metallic parts of the equipment not carrying current shall be earthed with copper material 6) All concealed hinged doors and covers shall be provided with suitable flexible earthing connections. 7) The size of the earth bus chosen shall be to withstand full fault current of 35KA. 8) Earth bus bar shall be supported at suitable intervals. 9) All the current transformers shall be resin cast type Class-1 only. 10) Name of fabricator, G.A. & detailed fabrication drawing and short circuit forces and temp rise calculation for panel shall be submitted for dept's approval. 11) Bimetallic washers shall be used for all aluminium to copper joints & it shall be of approved make & quality. 12) Indication lamps shall be heavy duty cluster type LED. 13) All Outgoing feeders shall have 'ON' & 'OFF" indication lamps. 14) All neutrals shall be isolatable type.
Remote ON / OFF P.B. Station: Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 14 SWG MS CRCA sheet, remote ON/OFF push button enclosure, with ON / OFF indication lamps, IP 42, wall mounting type, powder coated with RAL 7032 shade complete with internal wiring with 1.5 sq.mm copper PVC FRLS wires etc. Note: 1) ON - OFF indication lamps shall be heavy duty LED type, 240V, 50 Hz 2) PB station shall be lockable type to prevent unauthorize operation of Exhaust Blower.
M.V.CABLES
Copper Cables Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 1.1 KV grade Cu. armoured cable for Outdoor units on Wall/Cable tray XLPE insulated, inner sheath PVC tapped, extruded outer sheath PVC with FRLS and rodent termite repellent properties, GI strip / wire armoured, copper conductor power cable confirming to IS : 1554 part I/IS 7098 part-1 with upto date amendments, fixed on cable tray (measured as separate item) all fixing accessories, etc. complete including painting of M.S spacers/angles and saddles all as per enclosed detailed specifications, drawings & as per instructions of the E-I-C. The space between the two supports shall be 600 mm. approximately. The rodent and termite repellent property of MV cable shall be proved by either testing at factory or by submitting appropriate test certificates as per instructions of EIC.
