Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5.

Providing laying and spreading material on a prepared sub grade, adding cement @ 2% by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of sub-base as per Technical specification clause 405

Providing laying and spreading material on a prepared sub base, cement @ 4% by weight to the spread material manually, mixing in place with rotavator and compacting with the road roller at OMC to achieve the desired unconfined compressive strength and to form a layer of base as per Technical specification clause 405

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen (VG-10) using Bitumen distributor at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of Type as per Technical Specification Clause 508)

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 510.

Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads transporting to site spreading grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of table 300.2

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

Providing concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in 1:3:6 open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203

Brick masonry work in 1:3 cement mortar in foundation complete excluding pointing and plastering as per drawing and technical specifications Clauses 600, 1202 & 1203
