REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT OF CI/DI/ MS PIPE LINE OF VARIOUS SIZES, GATE VALVE, NRV, AIR RELEASE VALVE AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS INCLUDING VARIOUS OTHER CONNECTED WORKS IN GAMBER AND RADIANA PUMP HOUSE AT SUBATHU UNDER GE KASAULI

Schedule 'A' Section - I

Excavation in soft/loose soil trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr deep and getting out incl old U/s cable cover of ant type , taking out/laying/cleaning/repairing of CI/GI pipe line, cable etc including making good to disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in & including spreading, levelling & well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick as in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up unserviceable CI/DI/MS rusted/ broken pipe line 150mm dia (including all fittings) with spigot and socket/ Flanged ends and removal from site including burning out joints and recovering lead complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Taking up unserviceable CI/DI/MS rusted/ broken pipe line 200mm bore dia (including all fittings) with Flanged ends and removal from site complete all as specified and directed. Note: Earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply & laying in trenches ductile iron (DI) pipe 150mm bore dia with flanged end centrifugally cast class 'K-7' in any length laid in surface/ trenches complete all as specified and directed. (DI fittings and jointing materials shall be measured and paid separately) Note: Work to be executed in suction pipe of motors at Gamber Pump House.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.26 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces as required at site, 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket for connecting pipes in each end, laid in trenches/ over RCC pillers/ across or under bridges/ along hill side (up or down)/ culverts, inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevent items (ii) Any other expenses including permission from state authorities are included under this item.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-200 mm, outer dia 219.10mm, with nominal wall thickness 8.18mm and weight 42.55 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces as required at site, 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket for connecting pipes in each end, laid in trenches/ over RCC pillers/ across or under bridges/ along hill side (up or down)/ culverts, inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- (i) Excavation Earth work, PCC, seamless pipe fittings, MS flanges & flanged joints shall measured and paid for separatly under relevent items (ii) Any other expenses including permission from state authorities are included under this item.

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing seamless bends of angles (900, 600 , 450 ) suitable lengths, radius as specified and as per site requirement made of hot finished seamless carbon steel pipe not less than YST-240, grade B as per ASTM A 106, Sch 40, nominal size NPS-150 mm, outer dia 168.30mm, with nominal wall thickness 7.1 mm and weight 28.22 Kg/ Rm, including short pieces with flanged ends duly fabricated as required at site, 5.0 mm thick steel-reinforced compressed asbestos fibre gasket for connecting pipes in each end, laid in trenches/ over RCC pillers/ across or under bridges/ along hill side (up or down/ culverts/ inside valve pits complete all as specified and directed.
