INTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY WORKS

Point wiring (using approved colour coding as per IS) with 1100 volts grade, stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area), FRLSH,PVC insulated and unsheathed cable IS 694 marked TEC and FIA approved and including PVC concealed conduit(thickness not less than 1.5mm and 20 m dia) and its fittings ISI marked PVC junction boxes terminated in sunken/pressed metal flush box for mounting of modular switches/sockets/fan regulators including white cover plate with frame, also including FRLSH PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor 1.5 Sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volts grade, copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor to common earth and connected to earth dolly including necessary cutting/chases complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge for the following (Switches and regulators shall be measured and paid for separately.) ( Wiring shall be done as per colour code in IS for phase, neutral and earth) ( the cost of Modular cover plate and metal flush boxes is included in the unit rate quoted for this item) Note :Eye/bottle thimbles shall be used for connection in switches/sockets & MCB's in DB's without any extra cost.:-

ROAD, PATH, HARDSTANDING AND CULVERTS

Providing, Laying, compaction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material conforming to specifications i.e Grading II, conforming to Clause 401 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne to achieve the desired density, 150 mm thick compacted thickness, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Providing, Laying. compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix macadam (WMM) surfaces by sweeping clean by power broom or mechanical sweepers and removing completely all loose material and other foreign material and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) 50 mm Compacted thickness conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Mix Design for bituminous macadam shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less than 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at Rs 62 per litre for paving bitumenand if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of bituminous surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant (Batch Type) of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

The manholes shall be precast with M-40 concrete grade building in with end caps where shown or necessary, including cost of all materials, labours, T&P including providing the SFRC footrest as specified and shown on drawing suitable to with stand the bend test and chemical resistance test as per specifications and having manufactures permanent identification marks to be visible even after fixing including fixing in manhole complete all as directed and specified.

All as per item no.166 here-in-before but for circular precast reinforced manhole rings only for increase of manhole depth more than 0.805 metre and upto 2.0 metre complete all as directed and specified. Note:- Various manholes of different depths are to be provided at site as per site requirement. The tenderer shall quote rates for depth beyond 0.805 metre top portion for this item. Actual payment shall be made based on actual depth provided at site for increse in depth or for each manhole beyond 0.805 metre depth top portion. Tenderer should note this aspect while quoting rates against this item.

Drilling of bore of size 150 mm dia by direct rotary mechanical system for injection well in any kind of soil strata including hard stone / boulders all as specified and directed. Note : 01 Nos of bore to be done, each of depth upto 50 mtrs. The drilling carried out with Rotary drilling method (Direct/Reverse) to the depth of 50 Metre. The bore hole should be electrically logged for precise delination of aquifers (coarse granular and fine grained sediments) to be taped for recharging purpose. The actual design of recharge well will depend on the results on strata chart and electrical log. The PVC pipe and screen of 150mm dia having 1.5mm slot width may be used against granular zones, as it has more open area for the entrance of water.

Reaming of bore well from 150 mm dia to 300 mm dia hole below the ground level upto 50 mtrs in any kind of strata of soil / boulders / rocks etc all as specified and directed. Note : 01 Nos of bore to be done, each of depth upto 50 mtrs at different locations.

Supply, assembling and lowering UPVC blind casing pipe, wall thickness not less than 10 mm, heavy grade of size 150mm dia material grade SCH-80 socketed including, fitting rivetting, jointing and lowering in bore hole, conforming to IS 12818 complete all as specified and directed.

CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING

Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of Water Cooled Scroll Chiller Units having Minimium Capacity: 108 TR ( 2x36.0 TR working + 1x36.0 TR standby), with Multi Hermetically Sealed Scroll Compressor. The Unit shall have Compressor mounting arrangement on Rubber Grommets with Metal Sleeves. Water cooled Shell & Tube type Condenser. DX type Evaporator duly insulated. Thermostatic expansion valve with Extl. Equalizer. Unit shall have Filter dryer, pressure switch i.e. HP/LP, Electronic Thermostat, Flow Switch at Chiller, Integral Refrigerant Piping & Wiring, Accessories as required and called for, Automatic and Safety Control mounted in Central Console Electronic Microprocessor, Electronic Microprocessor with BMS (Bacnet / LON/ Modbus Output) compatibility & all mounted on a steel frame complete as per specification with internal overload protector , complete including hot water generator, chilled water, hot water and condenser water pumps and piping, Induced draft cooling tower, AHUs, supply and return air ducting, electrical panels/cables and all accessories/items complete as per Annexure A, list of drawings and specifications and as per under mentioned notes:-.

Notes :-- (i) Minimum technical parameters/requirement to achieve inside design conditions for rooms/areas of the auditorium bldg are enclosed as per Annexure-A to BOQ, particular specifications and drawings mentioned in list of drawings.

(ii) Contractor shall check the above technical parameters keeping in view the inside design conditions as specified/building drawings and if these are found correct and acceptable to achieve the required inside conditions the confirmation to this affect shall be rendered in writing with proof check within 30 days from the acceptance of tender.

(iii) In case any deviation is observed while checking technical parameters w.r.t capacity of plant, variation in quantity of items or change in specification to achieve the required specified inside condition, the contractor shall provide complete design data comprising of suitable matching equipments and accessories within 30 days from the date of acceptance of tender in order to obtain approval of accepting officer prior to execution of work and these changes shall be implemented by the contractor without any financial effect and amount quoted by the contractor shall be final for the purpose of execution of work. (iv) The inside condition are required as under:- (a) Temp = 24 degree C + 2 degree C (b) Relative humidity = 55 % + 5% (c) Fresh Air requirements @ 1.0 Air changes per hour (d) Occupancy-Room wise details enclosd. NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT 1. This is a turn-key job where the responsibility of the contractor will include Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of minimum 108 TR ( 2x36.0 TR working + 1x36.0 TR standby), water cooled, scroll chilling machines fitted with hermetically/ semi-hermetically sealed compressors, multi/single circuit chiller, water cooled shell & Tube type condensers, microprocessor based control panel, suitable for R-407 as refrigerant, shell & tube insulated evaporator, expansion device, control mechanism with control cables of appropriate rating and length for interconnecting chiller unit control panel, AHU and Electric control panel suitable capacity for actual cooling capacity The design shall be as per design parameters given in the tender documents and shall include refrigeration unit comprising of compressor, condenser, expansion valve evaporator or chiller and interconnecting refrigerant piping. chilled water pump sets, condenser water pump ,under deck insulation , Air Handling Unit, cooling tower, piping for chilled water , valves, strainers, gauges, ducting arrangement , cables for connection, trays, rubber mat, LT panel, earthing and other connected items required for smooth functioning of plant.

NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT 2. The tenderers/bidders shall note that the work of Air Conditioning Plant shall be executed through specialist firm as approved by GE. The following requirements shall also be ensured during execution of the work:- (a) Submission of all documents required according to the contract. (b) Preparation of the design and drawings for all the work within one month of acceptance of tender. The contractors shall be fully responsible for the smooth functioning of the Plant. These designs and drawings, shall be approved by the Accepting Officer. (c) Details of drawings, detailed plant layout with all mechanical and electrical equipments to be installed at various/ different levels at second stage within 10 days from the date of placement of work order. (d) Where specifications for any item of work are not given in MES schedule or particular specifications, specifications as given in relevant Indian Standard or code of practice shall be followed. (e) Tenderers intention is invited to relevant clauses of particular specification. If any provision not covered under Sch ‘A’, Special conditions, particular specifications but mentioned in relevant clause of SSR Part I (2009) and is required for completion of work then same shall be taken into consideration and no extra cost shall be paid to the contractor on this account and in such event decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding. (f) Any damage caused to the installation or any part thereof except for the accepted risks as per condition 48 of IAFW-2249 shall be made good by the contractor under his own arrangement as per the specifications given in the contract without any extra cost to the Government. (g) Accepting officer at his discretion may depute an expert for checking the performance of the Air Conditioning Plant. The contractor shall provide all major repairs/ overhauling etc as per the recommendation of expert and the same shall be notified to the GE immediately on occurrence and no extra shall be paid on this account. (h) The contractor shall ensure that the work is maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, procedures and relevant safety codes.

NOTES FOR CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING PLANT(Contd....) (i) The tenderer and the MES as the case may be shall consult with each other and jointly decide on the scheme for protection of the interconnection line(s) and of the facilities at both the ends. All air conditioning equipments installed shall be consistent with the orders of IEM detailed by Accepting Officer. (j) Notwithstanding the provisions of this agreement, the MES will not be responsible for any damage that may occur to the tenderer with the MES system. (k) Charges shall be borne by the contractor for commissioning, testing as well as routine checking. Notwithstanding such checking/ verification in any event, the MES shall not be responsible for any damage caused to the tenderer on account of any mistake in such checking/ verification. (l) All safety measures as per IS provisions and as per laid down procedure of entire Central Air Conditioning Plant shall be the responsibility of the contractor. (m) The yard sticks to regulate RARs payment against Air Conditioning Plant shall be got approved from CWE by the GE after technical check and following procedure shall be adopted :- (i) Stage wise yardstick %age for the Air Conditioning Plant shall be approved by CWE during currency of work. (ii) Contractor shall submit yard stick for Air Conditioning Plant in duplicate to GE within one month of acceptance of tender, including percentage payment to be made for each stage of theAir Conditioning Plant alongwith supporting details i.e detailed estimate, stage wise abstracts etc.(iii) There may be certain changes in yard stick percentages as submitted by the contractor while approving the yardstick for saidAir Conditioning Plant due to market rates of various materials & due to policy of department of with-holding sufficient amount for later stages of the work in Air Conditioning Plant. Contractor shall not have any claim on this account and percentage payment to be made for each stage as approved by the CWE shall be final & binding on the contractor. (n) Warranty: All the air conditioning equipments shall be warranted against any manufacturing/ design/ installation defects for a minimum period of 5 years from certified date of completion.
