Excavation in foundation trenches etc. in earth work lift upto 1.50 mtrs. stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 mtr. Clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15cm. Layer when required into plinth sides of foundation etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth all kinds of soil within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dressing of bed & preparation of sub-grade for lining in kind of soil within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Dressing of side slopes & preparation of sub-grade for lining in kind of soil within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Cement concrete lining 15cm. Thick or less for irrigation channels using cement concrete 1:3:6(1cement:3sand:6graded stone) 20mm nominal size) within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing form work with steel plate 3.15mm thick welded with angle iron frames 30x30x5mmso as give a fair finish i/c centring, shuttering, &centring below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4mtrs. & removal of the same for in-situ reinforced concrete & plain concrete work in:

Vertical surface such as wall(any thickness) partitions and the like including attached pillasters, buttresses, plinth and string cources and the like within all leads and lifts and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Laying, welding and testing of ISI marked steel tubes plain ended in trenches of following dia as per IS 1239-2001 including jointing the pipewith butt welding both the ends according to relevant BIS standards/approvedspecification including manufactureing reducers/tapers, all short pieces andbends as per site requirement and made from parent tubes (to be measured and paid alongwith pipes. Bends shall be manufactured in such a way thatnot more than 11 1/4 degree deflection is caused by a single cut and internaldia is not reduced including by draulic testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The damaged portion of galvanized due welding shall be provided with anticorrosive treatment by providing two coats of bituminous paint over priming coat as per AWWA specifications C-203-1978(earth work to be measured & paid for separately).
