PROVIDING MEFGS TO SLUDGE PIT AND DRAIN LINE TO PIPELINE MANIFOLD

Providing MEFGs to Sludge pits and Drain line to Pipeline manifold at BPCL MCI 1. Mangalore Coastal Installation (MCI) is a Petroleum Oil and Lubes (POL) Installation owned by BPCL which is situated at Mangalore city to cater to the MS and HSD demands of Mangalore market. It caters to different sales areas of Mangalore Retail Territory, Gulbarga Territory, Calicut territory, Rescue loads to Belgaum Territory and I&C. It is spread across 69 acres of land. 2. MCI has 2 nos of Sludge pits which are at times used for storing sludge generated during tank cleaning and other operational activities for short period. During last ESA Audit, it is recommended to provide MEFG to these sludge pits so as to handle fire scenario at Sludge pit. Hence it is proposed to provide the same as a safe engineering practice and to comply with ESA recommendations MCI also has a pipeline manifold with flange joint MOVs. In case of a leak from these flange joints, the spilled oil should be directed to OWS. This is also an ESA recommendation. To direct this spilled oil, it is proposed to provide U/G drain line with sluice gates which will be directed to OWS-2 Bidders are invited to bid for the same Verified Verfied
