Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand (zone-III): 6 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)
Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :
1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III): 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)
Reinforced cement concrete work in walls (any thickness), including attached pilasters, buttresses, plinth and string courses, fillets, columns, pillars, piers, abutments, posts and struts etc. above plinth level up to floor five level, excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement :

Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for :
Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete
Columns, Pillars, Piers, Abutments, Posts and Struts
Suspended floors, roofs, landings, balconies and access platform
Lintels, beams, plinth beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.
Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.
12 mm cement plaster of mix :
1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works, including applying priming coat of approved steel primer.
G.I. pipes
Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade :
New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm)
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade :

Providing weep holes of size 50 mm dia with 50 mm dia PVC pipe including fitting fixing withgratings of requisite dia slope 1:20 towards drainage surface including packing with well graded stone metal filter of approved quality in the holes as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Steel
Construction of Coffer dam with base width 4.00 mtrs, top width 3.00 mtrs & 3 m height above ground level in the nallah side of the structure to prevent water from entering the site with suitable materials like jungle ballies drum sheets etc on both side and filling non pervious soil in between with proper compaction. The coffer dam should have strength to withstand the water pressure during flood including bailing out water continously during construction if structure including dismantling the coffer dam fter completion of work.
Extra for laying reinforced cement concrete in or under water and/ or liquid mud, including cost of pumping or bailing out water and removing slush etc., complete. cum 794.65 Note For Item No. 5.31:- The quantity will be calculated by multiplying the depth measured from the subsoil water level up to the centre of gravity of the R.C.C. under subsoil water with the quantity of R.C.C. in cubic metre executed under subsoil water. The depth of centre of gravity shall be reckoned correct to 0.1 m. 0.05 m or more shall be taken as 0.1 m and less than 0.05 m ignored. No extra payment shall be made for placing reinforcement or centering & shuttering under sub - soil water conditions.
Extra rates for quantities of works, executed: Note for item no. 2.24:- The extra percentage rate is applicable in respect of each item but limited to quantities of work executed in these difficult conditions. The unit, namely, metre depth, to be considered for payment, shall be the depth measured from the sub soil water level up to the centre of gravity of the qty executed in difficult conditions. The depth shall be reckoned correct to 0.10 m, 0.05 m or more shall be taken as 0.10 m and less than 0.05 m ignored.
