Excavating in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10 square metre on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out all types of soil including loose boulders complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavating over areas, not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed. Note-Some quantity of earth retrived from this item is to be used in berm filling under serial item No 03 here in after.

Forming embankment including raising or lowering earth spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick watering ,ramming/rolling and finishing to required size shape etc not exceeding 1.5m high from base as in berms filling complete all as specified and as directed..

Removing excavated soil to a distance exceeding 1.50 kilometre but not exceeding 5.00 kilometre and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed Note :-The excavated soil shall be used for the berms and if remains the same shall be disposed to a distance exceeding 1.5 KM but not exceeding 5KM.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting (to required camber), by using earth compactorr of capacity 8 to 12 tonne capacity or compaction methodology recommended by soil test agency to under OMC to achieve the minimum 98 density of MDD determined using modified compactor density determination method as per IS code of existing soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 200 mm thick Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone, inter stices filled, surface, laid in two layers each of 100mm thick, over rolled formation surfaces as per MORTH specifications, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Each layer of soling shall be provided in seperate operation. 2. 200 thick soling (having two layers of 100 mm thick each of soling) shall be measured and paid as one unit.

Material and labour for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Wet Bound Macadam (WBM) with coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) using granite, basalt, trap stone, laid in two layers each of 75mm thick, with coarse aggregate of specified grade as per MORTH, spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber completed using mechenical paver/ grader and vibratory roller/earth compactor of capacity 8 tonne to 12 tonne capacity at OMC to achived the Min 98% density of MDD determined using modified compactor density determination method as per IS code copmete alll as specified and as directed. Note: 1. Each layer of WBM shall be provided in seperate operation. 2. 150 thick WBM (having two layers of 75 mm thick each) shall be measured and paid as one unit.

Material and labour for preparing of un-surfaced Wet Bound Macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air compressor to remove all loose dust & dirt etc., and applying tack/primer coat with bitumen primer of grade VG-10 @ 10 Kilogram per 10 Square Metre complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for 40 mm thick (compacted thickness) Premix bituminous, macadam using VG-30 as binder with binder content @ 4.00% minimum of total mix, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and consolidated to required camber and gradient using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm with paving bitumen VG-10 over existing surfaces of bituminous macadum surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for bituminous premix asphaltic dense concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with binder content paving bitumen VG 30 @ 6% by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne but not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of Model No DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Plain Cement concrete 1:4:8, type D2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete, complete all as specified and as directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated bitumen surface of any description not exceeding 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of aqua based paint (painting lines, dashes, arrows, letter etc,) complete all as specified as directed.
