M&L Periodical mainteneance of DG Sets for proper functioning as per manufacturer's recommendations of following capacities of Make : Kirloskar/Greaves/ Mahindra/Cummins/Ashok Leyland all as per existing site by replacing Filters (Fuel filter, Lube Oil Filter, By Pass Filter), Air Cleaner both inner and outer element, Water seperator, Engine oil of suitable grade as per OEM recommendation upto upper level, Checking for diesel leakage and Cleaning of Diesel Tank thoroughly, Cleaning of Radiator after removing of old coolant completely with water and suitable radiator Cleaning agent, Oiling and Greasing of Engine Parts, Checking of all hose pipes, tightening of all pipes, cable conncections, Cleaning and Servicing of alternator, Cleaning of Exhaust Pipe, Silencer including checking for leakage of smoke alongwith replacement of minor spare parts if any, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- (i) Rate Quoted shall include the cost of distilled water for batteries and Fuel filters, Lube oil filters, By pass filter, Air filter and minor spares. (ii) Engine Oil and Coolant shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Note:- (i) Major Spares parts/oil/coolent etc required for maintenance will be measured and paid seprately under relevant items. (ii) Minor spare parts i.e. nut bolt, washer, petroleum jelly deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate of this item (iii) DHPP will be issued by dept for testing only and the same will be collected by contractor at his own arrangement. (iv) Servicing to be carried out as per manufacturer’s specifications/ instructions on OEM workshop only. Inventory will be prepaired by workshop of OEM authorities and the same will be signed by JE E/M & Engineer-in-Charge. (v) The work of maintenance , repair and overhauling shalll be carried out through respective authorized dealer whose certificate shall be produced to Engineer - in - charge. (vi) Proper record & test results of the same shall be maintained as directed. (vii) Work shall be carried out at site at different location (viii) OEM workshop will be approved by GE for servicing of DG Set after recommendation of EIC in writing. Transportation charges of DG Set upto workshop and back to site will deemed included in quoted unit rate. (ix) Installation, testing and commissioning of DG Set shall be carried out after over hauling from approved workshop repersentatives and satisfactorly test reports kept on record duly got verified by IEM of HQ CEDZ Delhi Zone.

M&L for repair of self starter with replacament of carbon bushes, pinion, rewinding of stator and rotor winding with approved quality of winding wire as per existing and replacement of defective parts to make the starter fully functional and commissioning and testing of DG set of any type and capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Old U/s copper conductor material obtained from demolition shall be taken on charge in demolition/salvage register and enter page number in demolition statement. M&L preparing old rusted surface of DG sets upto 400KV capacity by thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove dust, rust flakes, paint flakes using wire brush or sand paper, primimg the affected surface with anti-corrosive primer and applying paint using suitable sprayer to get a smooth glossy surface finish and writing MES Number of DG Set (both Engine and Alternator) at site in Block capital letters as per existing sample complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L in repair of DG Set Control Panel of capacity 30-82.5 KVA including replacement of defective sensors like AMF module, relay card/board, current transformer, Key switch, Indicators, Warning, Push button and checking control wiring complete including made functional all the system/controls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L repair of DG Set Control Panel of capacity 100-400 KVA including replacement of defective sensors like AMF module, relay card/board, current transformer, Key switch, Indicators, Warning, Push button and checking control wiring complete including made functional all the system/controls complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. S&F in replacement of Battery Charger of 6 Amps rating of 12V Battery complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavating in post holes each not exceeding 0.5 cum in soft / loose soil, getting out, returning filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with around earth in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and making good surface

Supply and fix in replacement, errecting of steel tubular poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 metres long) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of redoxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide complete all as specified and directed. (Note: (i) Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) Old unserviceable steel pole shall be taken on charge and enter in demolition / salvage register in 'EACH' and attach the same page of salvage register with each RAR.)
