SCHEDULE A BOQ

Material and Labour for Insulation resistance testing of internal electric wiring in administrative, technical building and building containing explosives all as specified here under and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge :-

(a) The resistance of the earth continuity conductor shall be tested between the main switch and any part of the wiring outlet.

(b) The insulation resistance between conductors.

(c) The insulation resistance between conductors and earth lead at main switch.

(d) Earth resistance of each electrode point by detaching the earth continuity conductor (ECC) at test point or ECC detached from main switch .

(e) All above testing are to be done in accordance with IS-732-1963 and results are to be recorded in a prescribed format for following :-

Single phase sub main outlet

Three phase four wire sub main outlet

DB contains single phase circuit not exceeding 2 circuits

DB contains single phase circuit exceeding 4 circuits and not exceeding 6 circuits

DB contains single phase circuit exceeding 8 circuits and not exceeding 10 circuits

DB contains three phase 4 wire circuit outlet

Earth resistance test of individual earth points as specified in Srl No.6 (d) above.

Note :- (i) The contractor shall arrange necessary testing instruments of suitable range and cost for the same shall deem to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) Test to be conducted in the presence of MES rep and concerned users.

(iii) In case, any minor defect found at the site, same shall be rectified by using suitable size of nut, bolts, washer etc.

(iv) Any major item require to rectify the defect shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for sub main wiring with PVC insulated unsheathed FRLS 1100 volts grade multi stranded copper conductor cable 4 runs of 6 sqmm drawn through in and incl suitable size PVC casing capping and all accessories fixed to wall/floors along with two run 6 sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed copper conductor multi stranded cable 1100V grade as earth continuity conductor and connected to common earth dolly including taking down existing sub main wiring of any size. Note: (a) 4 runs of 6 sqmm cable along with two run of 4 sqmm cable for earth conductor shall be measured as one length including taking down UNSV old wiring. (b) Connections of cables with MCBs or bus bars shall be done through appropriate size brass/copper thimbles. Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ Plaza.

Wiring for circuit complete submain wiring with 2 X1.5 sqmm single core PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS 100 Volt grade multi stranded copper conductor cable drawn through and incl suitable dia rigid PVC conduit and accessories complete fixed surface to wall/roof/ceiling etc and incl 1.5 sqmm single core wire PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS 1100v grade multi stranded copper conductor cable as earth continuity conductor etc including taking down existing sub main wiring of any size and all as specified. Note :- Connections of cables with MCBs or bus bars shall be done through appropriate size brass/copper thimbles. Make:- Havells/ Polycab/ Plaza.

Factory made powder coated distribution board SP & N 8 way, double door including bus bar, Neutral bar, standard DIN rail, earth bar acomplete all as specified and conforming to IS: 8623 . Make/Model : Cat No 607711 of Legrand or equivalent of Schnieder & L & T .

S&F in replacement factory made powder coated distribution board TPN, 4 way double door including bus bar, Neutral bar, standard DIN rail, earth bar complete including taking down UNSV DB all as specified and conforming to IS: 8623 all as specified. Make/Model : Siemens/Schnieder / Legrand

Distribution board MCCB four pole, 125 Amp ultimate breaking capacity 16 KA complete conforming to IEC -61439-1 including taking down old one complete all as specified. Make : Legrand Cat No 420016 or equivalent in Schnieder or L & T.

Taking down aluminum/copper point wiring on & including hard wood battens, surface conduit and board/ blocks etc or through conduits for light, socket or power point, fan point complete (Taking down of fittings such as switches, sockets, bells, ceiling rose, holders , regulators, light fittings, MCB, lamps etc shall be measured and paid seperately) and making good the disturbed plaster surfaces of wall, floor, ceiling and painting 2 coat of white wash/distamber to meet the existing surface and removing materials and debris to reinstate the premise neat and clean complete all as specified and directed.

Point wiring using approved colour coding as per IS for one light/bell/buzzer point controlled by one switch or one fan point controlled by one switch & fan regulator with PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multi stranded copper conductor 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volt grade cable for phase & neutral drawn through Steel conduit with and including new MS/ cast iron sunken boxes duly painted with two coats of anticorrosive paint over a coat of red oxide primer on surface in touch with wall and synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide on other side, covered with 3mm thick plastic laminated sheet for mounting switches, regulators, sockets etc including 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) copper conductor PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded FRLS cable as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (Switches, sockets outlets, blanking plate, Light fittngs, fans, bells & regulators will be measured and paid for separetely). Supply and fixing single pole MCB 6 to 32 Amps, 240 v, 50 Hz AC suitable for ‘C’ curve, 10 KA breaking capacity conforming to IS 8828 of 1996 all as specified (Make/Model : Lexic MCB of MDS Legrand Cat No :408587 to 408595 or equivalent in Siemens/ Schnieder.

S&F IP 66 LED bulkhead luminaire, consuming a power of 9W. Lumen output not less than 800 lumens with a system efficacy > 115 lm/W, translucent UV stabilised poly carbonate anti-glare diffuser, colour temp not less than 6500K, PF > 0.95 shall have 50,000 burning hours as per L70 criteria, with surge protection device minimum 2KV, LED driver with constant output voltage and current at input voltage of 110 Volt to 270 Volt AC at 50 Hz,. The bulkhead body base should have inbuilt provision for easy mounting on wall/ ceiling with PVC insulated copper conductor 3 core cable of 0.5 sqmm. Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in wide in hard/dense soil and getting out.

Removing of excavated material n exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc 1.5m above the starting point.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in hard and dense soil

Riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming. Note :- In case sufficient sand not obtained from excavation, the required additional qty obtain from out side land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate is deemed to be included.

Fly ash cable protection cover of size 23x11.5 x7.5cm including taking down existing bricks of any size.

XLPE insulated,screened ,PVC Bedded,galvanised steel strip of wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium condutor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 6 sq mm 2 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets etc including taking down existing all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately. Make : Havells/ KEI/ Polycab

XLPE insulated,screened ,PVC Bedded,galvanised steel strip of wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium condutor 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets etc including taking down existing all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately. Make : Havells/ KEI/ Polycab

Cutting existing road/PCC/Drain for laying of DI/GI or any type of pipe including necessary earth work, excavation exc 600mm depth but not exc 1mtr depth, wide 800mm including making existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm aggregate thickness of concrete is 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Note :- The tenderer shall take into consideration for following points while quoting his rate for this item and the unite rate is deemed be included for :-

(i) Earth work excavation in any type of soil

(ii) Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) Removing excavated material to out side MD land

Distribution board MCCB four pole, 100 Amp ultimate breaking capacity 16 KA complete conforming to IEC -61439-1 including taking down old one complete all as specified. Make : Legrand Cat No 420015 or equivalent of Schnieder or L & T.

(d) Earth resistance tester shall be provided by the contractor. It should be caliberated from authorised company/ lab.

(e) After testing if desired earth resistance of less than 5 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is obtained.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of maintenance free chemical earthing system comprising 17mm dia copper bonded rod 3 mtr long horizontally pre welded T-terminal rod with provision for connection size of 50 x 150mm long, 6mm thickness with equal space either side, with 12mm dia hole of 02 numbers each on either side of the terminal clamp with 250 microns (average) coating thickness, tested and certified by CPRI India alongwith 50 Kg earth energizer compound and 10 litres earth resistance reducing liquid. The earthing energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be tested as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTM G57-06, CI 3.4 A by any NABL accredited lab. The above mentioned rod shall be installed in 4-6 inch bore, 12 feet depth with a distance of minimum 3 meters between each installation. Make : Model HTSP 3I7 of safeTrode or equivalent in OBO Betterman/ FURSE/ERICO.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 04 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor before commencement of work.

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH valve should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm should be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end ( The rate of earthing strip up to 7.5 Mtrs is included in the quoted rate).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concern.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintened duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall given a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is mainained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing per each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bonded rod to ensure genuity of material.

(xviii) Sign board of mild steel 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing should be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

(xix) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

Copper strip 20 x 3mm thick as earthing lead fixed to wall/roofs etc including taking down existing one all as directed. NOTE : All Joints should be joined by Exothermic Welding or Brazing.

Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 9.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm dia for each electrode pit complete all as specified and directed.
