PART - I : (a) B/R Works Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Providing reinforced cement concrete type B-1, 1:1:2 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) in foundation for Ac plant /railing/parapet /Drain wall /Concrete anchor for mooring system and other similar items for any size at any height including demolition and form work complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Mild steel bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Replacement of steel reinforcement with TMT bars of appropriate size where 30% of cross section is reduced including dismantling of rusted steel complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing additional main steel bars or stirrups of designed diameter in various structural elements like column, beams and foundations including drilling, bending, welding and fixing the bars with epoxy putty etc (Steel provided on the basis of 1% of volume of concrete), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix steel work as in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes confirming to IS 1161 1979 grade St 240, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix for rolled sections of FE 410W (Gde-E-250)as in main and cross beams, hip and jack rafters; purlins where connected to common rafters and running rails and guides for sliding doors; fixed with angle cleats , Steel Door frame and shutter or other connecting plates, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing of framed work such as grills, gratings, cooler stands etc., with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe 290 Gde E-165 including necessary fixing to walls, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Pre- painted galvalume aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of old Sheet as specified etc , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for 40 mm thick cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded aggregate) as in SUB-FLOORS, SUB-BASES, FLOORS AND PAVINGS, etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Non Skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including 20 mm thick screed bed in cm (1:4) for laying floor finishes including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour non skid coloured ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (Square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.18 Sqm but not exceeding 0.38 Sqm, as in floors over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 20 mm in cement mortar 1:4 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour Hand cut Kota stone slab flooring 20-25mm thick over as in skirting/dado over 10 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the surface including dismantling of old tiles , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles in vertical surface 350mmx250mm x7mm / 450X350X7mm thick, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match including over and including 10 mm thick rendering or bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for chequered cement concrete tile 30cmX30cmX 20 to 25mm thick set jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floor with grey cement and pig ments over 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of CM (1:4) including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60 mm thickness M-35 Grade including dismantling of old tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old paver blocks any shape, size and thickness from the existing surface and refixing at the same place after levelling the ground by using sand cushion for maintaining camber and slope, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- Sand Cushion will be paid under Item No 23

Material and labour for sand cushioning for laying interlocking paver block, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour 20 mm thick Granite (of any type) tiles machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including grinding and polishing including 20 mm thick Cement mortar 1:4 including dismantling of old stone slab / tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix green marble 16-18 mm thick machine cut, jointing and pointing with white cement slurry including 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of mortar in CM 1:6 including dismantling of old stone slab / tiles, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for cement concrete type D-2 1:4:8 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick cement concrete type C-1 1:3:6 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in plinth protection finished fair even laid in bays not exc 2m in length and joints filled with bitumen mastic 1:3 , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 100mm thick cement concrete type B-2 1:2:4 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in path/floor finished fair even and smooth without using extra cement, laid in alternate panels of size not exc 4 sqm each including bitumen filling in joints complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for 20mm thick Wearproof topping as specified (incorporating an approved metallic floor hardener) as per manufacture's instruction, as specified laid on concrete floors and pavings and path, and finished even and smooth (except metallic hardener) all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note :- metallic hardener & glass strips area measured and paid separately).

Supply only 22 mm wide and 3 mm thick glass dividing strips as laid in floor all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply only Non metallic hardener mix with cement concrete as per manufacturer's instructions, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width in type B1 (1:2:4) (20mm graded stone aggregate )and setting in mortar (1:6) including demolition of old PCC Block, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour brickwork with sub class 'B' bricks , straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 including demolition of old brick work , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick/concrete surfaces with two coats i.e. (10 mm thick backing coat and 5mm thick finishing coat) , finished even and smooth , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs for scaffolding as all arrangement.)

Material and Labour for rendering 10 mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. (Note:- Item rate shall be include any height of Bldgs for scaffolding as all arrangement.)

Taking down chowkhat or frame with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) not exceeding 1.5 Square Metre each , removing from the site including cutting holes required for taking out existing hold fast etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and Fix Factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ Ceosetory windows & other Frames/ Chowkhat of size 65x100 mm comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/ cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modules of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with MS hold fast/ lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (M.S. hold fast/ lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately). Note: For WPC solid door/window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimension i.e. depth and width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made, complete as specified by the manufacturer and as per directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fix of Factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid plain flush door shutter of 35mm size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. (Note: stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S S screws shall be paid separately)

Supply & Fixing solid PVC door frame of size 50 mm x 47 mm made out of 5 mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with MS square tube and edges will be painted to match will printed sheet fixed in opening as per specification & drawings, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of mild steel tube top & bottom rail mild steel frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC “C” channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap inserted for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the mild steel frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement supplying & fixing in the frame at site as per specification and drawing, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for preparation of new or previously untreated plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of acrylic antifungal paint exterior grade paint CAMOUFLAGE PATTERN on one coat of primer , complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and hosting if required, reconnecting and refixing in position capacity of 5001 to 10000 litres including Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tanks and from mouth of circulating pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning etc and hosting if required, reconnecting and refixing in position capacity exc 500 and not exc 1000 litres. including Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt etc from tanks and from mouth of circulating pipes etc, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down existing bitumen felt roof treatment including cement mortar bedding and cleaning the surface and removal to any distance, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- 1. Taking down earthing strips including insulators from roof for treatment and re-fixing of same with existing specification in the same position after laid APP membrane including replacement of broken insulators, PVC rawl plus & screws etc. are deemed to be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor. 2. Unit rate quoted shall also include for removal of PVC water storage tank wherever existing carefully and refixing at the same or other position after completion of roof repair work 3. APP work shall be carried out on RCC PENT roof at 20 -30 metre height (non accessible roof).

Material and Labour for roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. and brushing neat cement slurry with 3.0 kg of cement per Sqm complete all as specified and directed

Material and labour for taking out all old unserviceable PVC fills from cooling tower of capacity upto 100 TR and supply and fix in replacement of eliminator of cooling tower upto 100 TR, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cleaning the cooling tower by applying wire brush, washing powder and other solvent by removing the deposited impurities such as silt, dust particles mud/ sand inside the dome and around the fins, cleaning of base tray & grills, pot stainer, main shaft etc and other connected items, servicing of fan motor including changing of bearings and greasing refixing the fan, frill & top cover including testing commissioning after reassembling complete including painting all as directed by Engr-in-charge

Complete Servicing of AHUs installed in Zone-VII AC plants, removing of air filters and refixing after cleaning with air blower and water with suitable cleaning agent , cleaning of cooling coil with wire brush ,air blower and water spraying pump with gun and mixing the chemical sittable for removing of scales on aluminium fins and straighten the fins of cooling coil by using suitable brush for capacity upto 10000 CFM as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Complete Servicing of AHUs installed in Zone-VII AC plants, removing of air filters and refixing after cleaning with air blower and water with suitable cleaning agent , cleaning of cooling coil with wire brush ,air blower and water spraying pump with gun and mixing the chemical sittable for removing of scales on aluminium fins and straighten the fins of cooling coil by using suitable brush for capacity 10000 CFM to 20000CFM as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and Labour for repairs to condenser of AC plant by blocking the damaged/corroded tubes with the following instructions :- (i) Disconnecting the side covers of the condenser from their existing positions. (ii) Leakage testing of the condenser using pressurised nitrogen gas and finding the leaked tubes. (iii) Blocking the damaged/leaked tubes by brass plugs. (iv) Re-fixing the side covers of the condenser and the condenser valves from their existing positions with new nuts, bolts, rubber gasket and washers etc and painting the surface with approved shade of synthetic enamel paints for following capacities of condenser :-

(a) up to 35 TR Capacity

(b) 35TR and above capacity

Supply and fix regenerable coarse type, dust proof AHU air filter for following sizes:-

(a) AHU air filter of size 60cm x 60 cm x 5 cm

(b) AHU air filter of size 60cm x 50 cm x 5 cm

Dismantling and removing old unserviceable compressor sealed unit of Scroll Type Compressor carefully and supply, installation, testing new sealed Compressor unit of capacity 12.5 TR Model No SZ185S4RC of Make Blue Star/ Danfoss or equivalent complete with all standard accessories as per existing model installed at AC plant, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Sealed unit shall be purchased from authorised dealers/agents (ii) Cost of labour for fixing and testing of leakage alongwith initial charging of suitable refrigerant and T&P shall be deemed to include in the quoted rate of this item. (iii) Unit rate quoted shall include for the necessary electrical check i.e. checking of panel wiring to run the compressor smoothly. (iv) Before opening/ dismantling of unserviceable compressor the refrigerant to be taken in empty cylinder as directed by Engr-in Charge.

Dismantling and taking down defective parts of chiller/condenser pump set of capacity 7.5 to 10HP, replacement of defective parts like-bearing, bushes, impeller and shaft including lathe work and reassembling complete set including connecting and testing in presence of MES rep with entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) bearing, bushes and impeller and shaft shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rates are also deemed to be included for replacement of gaskets, packing with bearing grease, glands with graphite packing , nuts bolts , washers etc. (iii) Cost of transportation shall be deemed to be included in the rate quoted for these items. (iv) While taking out pump for repairs , the contractor will make arrangement plugging suction and discharge line with dead flanges, so that pumping of installation is not disturbed and there is no leakage of water.

The following AC plant equipments, accessories and control panel will be maintained as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. (a) Chilled water type central AC plant make Blue star of capacity 26 TR (01 working + 01 stand by) installed at Chukar - III for maintaining Temp 23°C + 2°C and humidity 60 + 5% .

General notes for Item No 269.00 to 273.00 (a) Rate quoted by tenderer for the above items shall be deemed to be included for the expenditure of keeping general cleanliness of the area of the installations complete including cutting of grass shrubs & vegetations around the installations. (b) Protective clothing as per IS and safety instructions & tools required as applicable shall be provided by the contractor and shall be continuously in use of the operator on duty. No extra payment will be made to contractor for the same. (c) Printed log sheet shall be provided and maintained by the contractor properly as per the format approved by Eng-in-Charge duly signed by all concerned and no extra cost shall be admissible for this account. Log book shall be deposited with concerned JE every months and no payment will be made in absence of the same. (d) ITI qualified in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or having minimum 5 years experience in operation and maintenance of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration plant shall be deployed by the contractor. Contractor shall arrange his man power in such a way that each employee should not be assigned more than one shift of 8 hours in a single day and weekly one day off is given to each employee for which separate manpower arrangement to be done by the contractor without any extra cost to the dept. (e) Any breakdown of AC Plant shall be reported immediately to JE E/M / Engr-in- Charge. (f) Life insurance of employed person shall be carried out by the contractor at his own cost from any insurance company approved by IRDA. (g) Contractor will provide the uniform as recommended by Engr -in-Charge. The safety of equipment necessary T & P shall be maintained at all the installations. The contractor shall be fully responsible for safety of staff employed. Department will not be held responsible for any eventuality occurred to staff employed. The contractor will be responsible / liable to pay all type of compensation etc to employed staff in accordance with prevailing labour laws in country/ staff. (h) The tradesmen shall be well conversant with preventive measures (First Aid) in case of electrical accidents and fire fighting systems.

(j) Carrying out operation of equipments, as a part of day to day operation and in accordance with relevant PM checklists and as per schedules that will be prepared upon activation of contract. The salient features in these checklists are as follows :- (i) Starting and stopping of the equipment as per requirement of the user. (ii) Checking the water level in the cooling tower (applicable for water cooled units) (iii) Recording the equipment operational parameter including pump pressure and motor amps in the log sheet. (iv) Checking the central AC or Refrigeration system and equipment such as compressors, motors, pumps, cooling towers and their electrical controls on the respective equipment. (v) Checking the refrigeration system for any leaks. (vi) Checking the electrical and refrigeration control system for operation and adjustments of set values as necessary. (k) Penalty of absence of any Ref Mech shall be Rs 2500/- per shift per day. (l) Tmp measurer shall be provided by contractor in respective installation in proper working condition. Rates quoted deemed to include the same.

Notes:- The quoted rate for above plants described at item No 269.00 to 273.00 here-in-before shall be deemed to be included the following:- (i) The operator shall be ITI holder with sufficient experience (not less than 05 years). The operator should be capable to rectify both mechanical as well as electrical defects for smooth functioning of AC plants. It is responsibility of contractor to provide a reliever to the operator. So that the operator is available all time. (ii) Man power list with aadhar linked bank account number, qualification certificate will be submitted prior to commencement of work for necessary sanction from GE. (iii) The contractor/ service providing agency shall be wholly and exclusively responsible for payment of wages of persons engaged by it in compliance with all the statutory obligations under all related legislations as applicable to it from time to time including Minimum Wages Act, ESI Act, EPF Act and the Department MES shall not incur any liability for any expenditure whatsoever on the persons employed by the contractor/ agency on account of any obligation. The contractor/ service providing agency will be required to provide particulars of group Insurance of employees engaged by him to the GE before processing of RAR payment. (iv) The contractor/ service providing agency will be required to provide two set of uniform to all operators with name and firm tag. (v) To carry out routine periodical checkups as directed by GE & Engr-in-Charge. (vi) Maintaining all the accessories such as electric panel, Interlocking wiring cables, pumps etc and all assemblies such as chillers etc and sub assemblies such as AHU, tower etc functional in any situation round the clock for the period including holidays etc. (vii) Maintaining the surrounding area of central AC plant building, cooling tower, etc neat & clean at all time. No wild vegetation to be seen with in the surrounding of building upto 5 metres all around (viii) Tools and plants such as spanners, wrench, screw driver, pliers, puller (Mechanically hydraulic) and alike items required for operation, sufficient running of the parts shall be arranged & are kept permanently with the staff (contractor's staff). However any major items which are required, as part of the installation shall arranged by the department.

Material and Labour for spray painting to Central AC Plant complete comprising of compressors, motors, condensor,cooling tower and cooling tower pumps, pump / monoblocks, MS / GI pipe lines of sizes etc after preparation of old painted surface as per colour code including and marking arrow, SM/ MES Nos, colour for upto 120 TR ACs plant as directed by the Engr-in- charge.

Material and Labour for spray painting to Central AC Plant complete comprising of compressors, motors, condensor,cooling tower and cooling tower pumps, pump / monoblocks, MS / GI pipe lines of sizes etc after preparation of old painted surface as per colour code including and marking arrow, SM/ MES Nos, colour for upto 60 TR ACs plant as directed by the Engr-in- charge.
