REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE TO LT ELECTRIC SUPPLY SYSTEM ACCESSORIES AND CONNECTED WORKS AT AFS HAKIMPET UNDER GE(AF) HAKIMPET

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m depth and getting in hard/dense soil for laying of cables/ for erection of poles/ for stay assembly etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and spread clean Riddled soil in trenches for cushioning of cable complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note: Punned down thickness only shall be measured for the purpose of payment)

Supply and lay un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover , class LV , Type I flat size 250 x 150 x 40 mm laid dry in treches over under ground cables complete all as specified and directed

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing surplus excavated material to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, lay, test and commission of XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of cross sectional area 10 sqmm 4 core including taking down old u/s cable complete all as specified and directed

All as per Item No 07 here in before but of cross sectional area of 35 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed

All as per Item No 07 here in before but of cross sectional area of 50 sqmm 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling of concrete pole of any size, type and make complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling insulators any type, size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Dismantling of ACSR or AAC conductors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Note:- (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, G I strip 32 X 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 5 mtr (ii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, Elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (iii) RCC pit cover shall be percast of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/Sqm in liue of cast iron cover.

Taking down of under ground cable and laying, connecting the cable properly after laying of cable cover and sand complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Earth work to be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'.

M & L for cleaning of area i.e cutting of vegetation around the Electrical Substations inside and outside area as desired by Engr-in-Charge using grass cutting machine or deployeing the labour and maintaining the surroundings neat & clean upto the statisfaction of the Engr-in-Charge.

All as per item No. 23 here-in-before but of size 150 sqmm to 185 sqmm. , 3.5/4 core (Make: 3M/Raychem ).

Material and Labour for spray painting with two coats of enamel paint Surfaces of any description of approved colour over one coat of red oxide metal primer after scraping thoroughly the existing corroded metal surface of the LT panel at installed position all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Earth continuity GI strip 32X6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc fixed to wall on batten/porcelain insulator or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing including breazing at each necesasry joints etc.

Checking, identifying the defect /faulty point of LT UG cable of any size using Cable fault locator machine or by mannual excavation and taking out bricks from the trench upto fault point along cable route and re-laying the same using old bricks/sand incl returning filling and making good surface after rectification of defect complete all as directed.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of LT 8.5/ 9.0 m height steel tubular/ ISMB poles by scrubing sand paper alongwith all pole fittings such as cross arms, clamps, nuts & bolts etc and applying paint as follows:- (i) One coat of aluminium paint on all exposed surfaces of pole, cross arms, clamps, nuts & bolts etc, leaving in 1m from ground level. (ii) One coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour upto 1.0m height from GL including coping. (iii) Writing pole number in white letters on black background with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying only aluminium short barrel lugs of 35 sqmm cross sectional area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying only aluminium short barrel lugs of 120 sqmm cross sectional area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supplying only aluminium short barrel lugs of 300 sqmm cross sectional area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
