Restoration of road cut regarding Renovation of 72 nos houses type II sector 41 UT Chandigarh (House No. 2001 to 2016, 2023 to 2030)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Carriage of material (1.1) by mechanical transport including loading unloading and stacking complete in all respect using appropriate labour and machinery to carry dispose the building rubbish/ malba/ dismantled and wastes to the Municipal Corporation C&D waste processing plant to an average lead of 10 Km and all lifts to entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

Preparation of sub grade including trenching rough dressing of soil, final dressing of earth to give level and camber, watering, rolling with a road roller and compaction of bed complete in all respect to the entire satisfaction of Engineer in Charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing Material conforming to Grading-II --- Table 400-1 including mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material by tippers to work site, for all leads & lifts, spreading in uniform layers of specified thickness with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller 8 to 10 tonne to achieve the desired density, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer-in-Charge & as per clause 401 of MORTH specifications (5th revision)

Providing and laying, spreading and compacting the stone aggregate of 63 -45mm gauge conforming to Grading-II of Table 400-9 of MORT&H specifications (as per latest revision) to Water Bound Macadam specifications including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing and rolling with 3 SMOOTH wheeled steel/vibratory roller 8-10 tonne in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening / binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density complete as per Clause-404 of MORT&H specifications (as per latest revision ) complete in all respects to the entire satisfaction of Engineer - In - Charge. .

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run Bitumen binder of grade (VG - 10 Bulk) @ 3.00 kg/ 10 Sqm including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface.

Providing and laying ready-mix bituminous material for patch repairs with an average thickness of 20mm to cover patches/ potholes on the damaged road surface, complete in all respects. This includes the cost of read-mix bituminous cold material CRRI approved packed in bags to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
