Demolition brick tile/cement concrete tiles / APP membrance by using hand held electric drills, cutting machine, chisels etc (direct use of hammers on RCC roof for demolition is strcitly prohibited) of roof treatment including padding concrete of any description including mud in roof any thickness with and including roughening old concrete surfaces by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cement concrete type B0 (1:2:4 ) using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding, coping, roof kerb incl hunching, benching etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick in CM(1:3) rendering on fair faces concrete surfaces/roof top mixed with liquid water proofing compound finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note : Liquid WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed. Make Dr. Fixit or equivalent.

M&L water proofing treatment to roof slab with APP modified polymeric membrane thickness not less than 3 mm plain membrane (weight of membrane not less than 3.50 Kg +/- 5% per Sqm) and weight of centre core polyster mat shall be 160 gram +/- 15% per Sqm and lower side finished with 10 to 15 micron thermo fusible polyethylene complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge with following courses of descriptions below :-Make of membrane shall be SIKA/Super Thermolay APP (STP) / IWL as approved by GE (a)The surface of roof, parapet and gutters and drains mouth etc over which waterproofing treatment is to be applied shall be thoroughly cleaned of all foreign matter, moss dust etc by wire-brushing and dusting. For cast iron/PVC drains outlets a grove shall be cut around to tuck in the treatment. Concrete angles-fillets provided at junctions between roofs and verticals faces of walls (parapet and other walls) around obstacles such as pipe, chimney stacks etc and other similar situation to ease up about corners..

(b) On the prepared surface one coat of Solvent based bituminous primer (Sika® WP shield Primer or other techno commercially Equivalent make of STP/IWL ) shall be applied @ 0.35 to 0.50 Kg/sqm till the surface is properly impregnated. The time delay of laying of membrane after application of primer shall be as per manufacturer instructions (c) Laying of polymeric waterproofing membrane and bonded completely to the substrate & the overlaps are then sealed /fused by flame torch as per manufacturer instructions. (d) The overlaps shall be of minimum 4 Inch (100 mm) side lap and 150mm at end ,sealed by the flame-torch. (e) The contractor shall give a guarantee of 10 years from the date of completion of work for roof treatment. The amount Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty five Only) per Sqm and min of Rs 2500/- for roof treatment shall be withheld from contractor’s final bill till the expiry of guarantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fix deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE (I) Kanpur.

M&L for preparation of new surfaces and applying two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of aluminium primer on membrane, over 10cm in width or girth complete all as specified.

M&L for cement concrete tiles 25cm x 25cm x 25mm thick, laid over 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of tiles complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for brick tiles 40mm thick with min flexural strength 1.5 N/Sqmm set, joints grouted flush in CM 1:3 mixed with water proofing compound by weight of cement as per manufactur instruction over 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 , ponding test shall be done after laying of tiles complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.(WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Demolition of brick work of any description and in any position built in cement mortar including quoins arches and pillars complete all as specified.

M&L for brick work with fly ash old size bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 for manholes, drains, septic tanks, soak wells etc. complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No. (10) here in before but except bricks.

Demolition of plain cement concrete / tiles in ground floor and pavings not exc 15cm thickness below or above ground level complete all as specified and directed

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) complete all as specified. (Note : Debris obtained from dismantling will be dispossed off as directed)

M&L 25mm thick PCC (1:2:4) type B0, (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor to receive tiles complete all as specified.

M&L for non skid joint free ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tiles exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the suraface over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Item No (15) here-in- before but as in skirting over 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non skid joint free ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tiles exceeding 0.18 sqm but not exceeding 0.36 sqm in floors etc., set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the suraface over 15mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6.

All as per Item No (17) here-in- before but as in skirting over 10 mm thick rendering in CM (1:4) all as specified and as directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic tiles coloured, joint free in vertical surface 300X 450X 7mm thick mm thick as on walls over and incl 10mm thick rendering in cement mortar (1:4) and jointing in neet slurry and pointing in coloured cement to match the inside of tiles all complete as specified and directed.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles of any description or thickness in floors, approns etc laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar. (Note : Debris obtained from demolition will be dispossed off as directed)

Material and labour for 16 to 18 mm thick granite (of any type) work (table rubbed and polished) in steps, jambs, pillars, window-cills, cooking platforms/slabs and like laid over 15mm thick screed bed in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with shade of granite half round on exposed projected surfaces all as specified and as directed.

M&L 18-20mm thick machine cut kota stone(full size not less than single piece) slab in flooring, staircase steps, landing etc laid over 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar 1:6 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing, grinding and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 18-20mm thick machine cut kota stone (full size not less than single piece) slab in riser of steps,skirting ,dado and pillar laid over 10mm thick rendering of cement mortar 1:4 and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the slab including rubbing, grinding and mirror polishing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75 mm thick Cement concrete type D 2, 1:4:8 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for non skid coloured heavy duty parking tiles of size 300x300x9-10 mm thick impact resistance over 15 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:6 complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down chowkats without taking off shutter from chowkats area n.exc 1.5 Sqm each complete all as specified.

Taking down chowkhat or frame with shutter (without taking off shutter from the frame) area exc 1.5 Sqm and not exc 4 Sqm each complete all as specified.

Taking down shutters of any description exceeding 1 Sqm but n exc 2 Sqm each and re-fixing in the same opening complete all as specified.

S & F factory made uPVC white colour Three track three panels sliding window with fly proof S.S wire mesh (Two nos. glazed & one no. wire mesh panels) upto 1.50m height made of (big series) frame 116 x 45 mm & sash 46 x 62 mm both having wall thickness of 2.3 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead / double glazing bead of appropriate dimension. Taking down existing sunken portion treatment by demolition of old concrete and carry out the sunken treatment as in following steps given below :- (a) S&F drainage spout pipe GI 40 mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 450 mm to 600 mm long). (b) M&L PCC 1:1.5:3 type B0 (using 12.5mm graded stone agg), 50 mm thick laid in slope towards drainage out spout pipe mixed with waterproofing chemical as per manufacturer instructions of MAKE :FOSROC/SICA/ Pidilite/STP. Khurra 150mmx150mm (min) at appropriate location for free flow (of leaked water if any) towards drainage spouts shall be provided integrally while laying PCC.Fixing of spout shall be done with same PCC as in this item. (c) M&L18 mm thick cement platster in CM 1:3 on vertical faces mixed with water proofing chemical of MAKE :301 Pidicrete URP of Dr Fixit or other techno commercially Equivalent make of SIKA/ Pidilite/FOSROC/STP. .

(d) Item no 92(c) shall be executed while concrete is green as per item no 92(b) above and proper curing and ponding test shall be done before laying drainage/water supply pipes upto the entire satisfaction of Engineer in charge. (e) Applying two coats of SIKA TOP seal 107 of SIKA or other techno commercially Equivalent make of FOSROC /Pidilite/Dr Fixit/STP on vertical as well as horizontal surface. (f) Drainage and water supply pipe if required & test for leakage/sanitary pipes and shall be laid to slope and a clear gap underneath the pipes shall be made available by providing suitable cement concrete blocks. (g) M&L PCC1:5:10 type E-2 using 10-40mm down graded stone aggregate as reqd depth at site over and including 150mm thick 20mm single sized stone agg to provide a filter media. (h) M&L PCC 25 mm thick 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm grade stone aggregate as level course. (j) M&L for 7 to 8 mm thick joint free non skid ceramic coloured printed tiles (square/ rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceeding 0.18 Sqm as in floors etc; laid jointing in neat cement slurry and pointed filled with epoxy chemical make: SIKA/FOSROC/PIDILITE/ Dr Fixit/STP.mixed with pigment to match with shade of tiles over and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM ( 1:6 ).

Note for item NO 96 Waterproofing Treatment shall be undertaken alongwith laying of drainage pipes/Sanitary pipes/ Drainage Spout etc (ii) The work shall be carried out as per the direction of Engineer in Charge. (iii) The sunken treatment work shall only be carried out after written approval of Engineer in charge for Leakage/seepage of water/sanitary pipes. (iv) Cost of drainage spout shall deemed to be included in the item however sanitary pipe, water pipe line if required shall be paid separately under respective item. (v) Laying of Chemical required for varios applications shall be as per manufacturer instructions. (vi) Plan area shall only be measured and paid. (vii) The contractor shall give a guarantee of 10 years from the date of completion of work for sunken treatment. The amount Rs. 25.00 (Rupees Twenty five Only) per Sqm and min of Rs 2500/- for sunken treatment shall be withheld from contractor’s final bill till the expiry of guarantee period. The contractor at his own option may furnish fix deposit receipt pledged in favour of GE (I) Kanpur.

Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from metal frame including punching or drilling out old glazing pins/spring clips and providing and fixing new ones.

M&L for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and fixed with oil putty in square n.exc 0.5 Sqm in each pane of steel windows complete all as specified.

All as per item No. (94) here-in-before but frosted glass / pin headed glass complete all as specified.

S& F in repair stainless steel wire cloth 0.36 mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperature 1.40 mm fixed with tinned tacks or galvanised wire staples and complete all as specified and as directed .
