Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil n.exc. 1.5mtr wide and n. exc. 1.5mtr in depth and getting out for laying of cables, complete all as specified and directed .

All as per srl item No 1 above but exceeding 1.5 Mtr and not exceeding 3 mtr deep, complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n. exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, and including spreading, levelling,watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning to under ground cables 8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm (punned down to 18 cm) after laying and stretching the cable, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for unreinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, Type 1, flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm covering protection to the electric cable laid dry flat traversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC ( 1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping pedestal of poles. Including necessary form work fair finished to exposed surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC ( 1 : 4 : 8 ) type D2 using 40mm graded stone aggreghate for foundation of poles and stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, commisisoning and testing in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel striop or wire armoured heavy duty electric power cable with aluminium conductor, 6.35/11 KV suitable for 11000 volts grade, cross-sectional area 95 sqmm 3 core, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, commisisoning and testing in replacement of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel striop or wire armoured heavy duty electric power cable with aluminium conductor, 6.35/11 KV suitable for 11000 volts grade, cross-sectional area 120 sqmm 3 core, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F DWC high density polyethelene pipes having dia 120x103 mm, inner as per site requirement having corrugation on the wall and plain surface on the inner wall conforming to IS: 14930(Part I & II) for protection of underground cable laid along pole/along wall/in PCC on GL/roof and including all fittings as required at site, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for Cable end jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for out door type termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for Cable end jointing kit for 11 KV (earthed) grade cable for out door type termination cold shrinkable type joint complete with all jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 to 185 sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down unserviceable lightening arrestor and S&F HT lightening arrestor metal oxide type (gap less) heavy duty single pole for 11 KV over head line, suitablr for 12 KV rated highest system voltage long duration distribution discharge class type, IP-55 degree of protection, KVP and upto 65 KA high current impulse with stand voltage 9 KV arrestor ratoing with normal discharge current of 10 KA complete with all fittings conforming to IS : 3070 Part-III effectively connected with earthing system, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of out door type triple pole, 11000 volts mechanically operated Air break switch, mounted on 15 Nos insulators and steel frame, with operating mechanism worked from ground level for current rating up to 200 amps and all accessories ie pipe clamp etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Structural steel work conforming to grade Fe-410S as in cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections, including , nuts, bolts, washers, welding , bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat , one finishing coat of aluminium paint and epoxy coating sufficient for 11KV insulation, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix of disc assembly type composite polymer insulators, specified mechanical load 45 KN (minimum) P F (dry) withstand voltage 65 KV/mint, P F (wet) withstand voltage 40 KV/mint, impulse withstand voltage 80 KVP for tension with tension clamp for conductors working voltage 11000 volts, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix of pin type polymer insulator including galvanised mild steel strap, washer and one galvanised iron nut of suitable size for 11000 volts, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for aluminium conductor steel re-inforced (ACSR) of any size for HT lines on PCC/Steel Tubular poles, stretching without kinks and bends, binding with (rates inclusive) binding wire, complete all as specified and directed. Make- Aliend/ICC/NICCO

M&L for galvanised steel wire 4 mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for vice type connectors consisting of two brass plates, and two steel bolts and nuts for 2 conductors of equal and unequal sizes, for non-tension connections including treatment of connector and ACSR conductor, complete all as specified and directed.

S/F of stay assembly complete comprising of 20mm dia 40cm long stay bow rod 20mm dia x 1.8 Mtr long galvanised stay rod threaded and with nuts including 300mmx300mmx6mm thick plate necessary clamps etc as shown on plate No. 1 on page 495 of SSR Part-I 2009, complete including taking down U/S stay assembly , complete all as specified and directed. ( Note : Loop type insulator, stay clamp, stay wire, excavation and concrete work measured separately).

S&F for galvanised steel wire size 7/4 mm for stay assembly, complete all as specified and directed.

S/F of loop type insulator in replacement with complete fiting porcelain, vitreous white or brown large size with over all dismensions 90x140mm , clearance of hole 25.5mm, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Anti climbing devices; comprising 2.24 mm dia galvanised steel 2-srand barbed wire wih 2.00mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles, to a lengh of 0.5 to 1.0 metre clammped and properly secured or as ordered (clamps measured separately), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Anti-climbing device;spikes type fabricated out of M. S bars (round, square and flat). inclluding nuts, bolts, washers and welding in wo halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letter,figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fix with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT 25x20 cm , complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in replacement of Cradels, hexagonal/rectangular, fabricated and for streatching GI steel wire 4 mm dia including for pole to pole with binding wire in location/ area given by the incharge, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and errect in replacement of pole in vertical position steel tubular swaged pole complete with cast iron base plate, finial welded with MS sheet at top as specified type 410 SP-55(11 meteres long), complete all as specified and directed. Note :-Excavation & earth work & PCC meassured & paid seprately respective items.

M&L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm and 40 mm dia bore 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 20 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS funnel with one jalli and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement for GI strip of size 32 x 6 mm from testpoint to transformer or other places, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of platform of size 3000 x 2500 x 1500 mm for transformer having side finished, PCC (1:4:8) up to 30 CM in foundation and PCC at top portion of platform upto 25 CM thick with suitbale size MS bars, brickwork and cement mortar (1:4) and complete plaster work 15 mm thick to exposed surface in CM including (1:4) including necessary MS work (i.e. MS jali/fencinfg/MS angle) on the top of platform around transformer upto height 90 cm and one coat of white wash on plastered surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Shifting of transformer upto 500 KVA as per requirement from 2/4 pole structure to platform or platform to 2/4 pole structure including transporttion and labour, T&P required for shifting of the transformer within the cantonment campus complete including disconnecting the cable/connections and connecting the cable at new shifted site, complete all as specified and directed. The rates quoted are deemed to be included for disconnecting and connecting of connections any type and T&P required & no extra amount be paid on this amount, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down old existing ACSR conductor any type from existing HT/LT pole, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of steel work (brackets, clamps, channels including disc and pin insulators,nut & bolts) from existing HT pole, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of insulators any type, any size and depositng to the same to the MES store yard, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of earth wire/ Cradle, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing HT/LT pole 11 mtr long PCC/steel including earth work and PCC of the poles , complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out existing OH/UG/AB cable any type, any size including earth work and taking out of bricks and stagging in safe manners for reuse in work where required , complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick/cable cover will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Relaying of cable of any size in trenches after repair including electrical connection etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation, earth work, sand cushioning and brick/cable cover will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M&L for painting of 4 pole structures comprising of cross arms, supporting angle iron, clamps, nuts and bolts complete with 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide after scraping old painted surface and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5 metre above the ground level with black and yellow colour alternatively 30 cm interval from coping of the pole, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of 2 pole structures comprising of cross arms, supporting angle iron, clamps, nuts and bolts complete with 2 coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide after scraping old painted surface and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5 metre above the ground level with black and yellow colour alternatively 30 cm interval from coping of the pole, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for aluminium painting to cross arms "V" type, clamps, in position on 11 metres long PCC/Steel tubular pole after thoroughly cleaning the surfaces including bolt nuts etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint upto 1.5 metre above the ground level with black and yellow colour alternatively 30 cm interval from coping of the pole, complete all as specified and directed., complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of existing steel tubular HT pole by providing one coat of aluminium paint including preparation of surface upto complete height, complete all as specified and directed.

Trimming/cutting tree branches with clearing space upto 2 metre from the over head conductor's any side, all around for HT/LT distribution, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Electrician shall take shut down from JE Incharge and properly enter in the shut down register at Power house and complete the work within the time, and clear the shut down from main power house after completion of the work.

M&L for surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep around 2 pole / 4 pole structure, feeder pillar box and transformer DG set platform plinth and out side Sub Station Building etc, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of Aluminium strip of size 25 x 3 mm from test point to transformer or other places, complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying/Reuse of old PCC cable cover/bricks received from respective item No. 40 for reuse in the same work where required, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Restretching of existing loose OH, HT ACSR conductor wire including GI wire along the span of poles for sagging within the permissible limit including binding/rebinding/joining with aluminium winding wire in case of breakage of conductor, size of winding wire shall not be less than 2 sqmm, complete all as specified and directed.

Notes : The Schedule of Credit amount shall be deducted from the total of this schedule(BoQ) to arrive at Contract Sum.
