SH: EARTH WORK

Earth work in excavation in soils containing 50% or more of shingle or small size boulders upto 30 cm size including banking in 20 cm layers and breaking clods, ramming and dressing up for the purpose of making embankments or filling up ground depressions lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.50 m.

Earth work in excavation in foundation trenches not exceeding 1.50 m width or 10 Sq.m. on plan or drains not exceeding 1.50 m in width or 10 Sq.m. on plan including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.50 m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Extra for every additional lift of 1.50 m or part thereof for earth work in all soils including shingles, small size boulders upto 30 cm size but excluding saturated soil and rock.including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.50 m including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.

Providing, laying and compacting graded stone aggregate (50mm size) below foundation.

Re-filling excavated earth in foundations and plinth etc. in 15 cm layer including ramming and watering etc. complete.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

SH: CEMENT CONCRETE

Providing and laying cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand : 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) excluding the cost of centring and shuttering in :

a) Foundations and plinth

b) Walls including attached buttresses, pilasters and their caps and bases and string courses etc.up to floor two level.

Centring and shuttering including strutting proping etc. and removal of form work for: Walls including attached buttresses, pilasters etc.

SH: RCC WORK

Reinforced concrete work in foundations, footings, bases of columns etc. and mass concrete excluding cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement in : a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforcement cement concrete work in columns, pillars, piers, abutments, post and struts etc up to floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface but exluding cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement. a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete work in lintels, beams and bresumers up to floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface but excluding cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement. a) M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete in suspended floors, roofs, landings and balconies upto floor two level including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface but excluding cost of centring and shuttering and reinforcement with M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete in chajjas exceeding 15mm in thickness upto floor two level including centring and shuttering complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement with M20 1 : 1.5 : 3 (1 cement : 1.5 Coarse Sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Reinforced cement concrete work in stair cases (excluding landing) except spiral cases including finishing and plastering the exposed surface with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6 mm to give a smooth and even surface, preparing of the top surface and finishing, nosing upto floor two level but excluding the cost of centring, shuttering and reinforcement with M20 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand : 3 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size).

Centring and shuttering including strutting, propping etc and removal of form work for :

a) Foundation, footings, bases of columns etc. and mass concrete.

b) Column, pillars, posts and struts etc.

c) Lintels, beams, girders, bressumers and cantilevers etc.

d) Suspended floors, roofs, landings shelves and their supports, balconies and chajjas (3.5 m height).

e) Stairs (excluding landings) except spiral stair cases.

SH: BRICK WORK

Brick work with best available local bricks in foundations and plinth in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand).

Extra for brick work with best available local bricks in superstructure above plinth level up to floor two level.

Half brick masonry (with best available local bricks) in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) in foundation and plinth.

Extra for half brick masonry in superstructure above plinth level and up to floor two level.

SH: PVC & uPVC WORK

Door /Window / Ventilator Frames:- Providing and Fixing factory made PVC door frame made of PVC extruded sections of size 75 mm x 53 mm, having wall thickness 2.0 mm (± 0.2 mm). Both verticalssides of the frame reinforced with PVC profile of cross section size 28 mm x 30 mm x 2 mm thickness (± 0.2 mm) and 75 mm x 200 mm long, including reinforcing both ends of the top frame with PVC profile. PVC Door Frame and PVC reinforcement profile to be mitred cut, jointed and fusion welded together, including providing and fixing 3 nos of 125 mm long stainless steel hinges to frame, fixing the frame with jamb with required nos & sizes of anchor dash fastener, all complete as per manufacturer's specification and direction of engineer- in-charge.

Bed & Other Door Shutters:- Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC 'C' channel of size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 egree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 5mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S.frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C' Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-incharge, manufacturer's specification & drawing. a) 30 mm thick plain PVC door shutters

Providing approved best available local wood (Class - B II) work in frames of doors, windows clerestory windows and other frames, wrought framed and fixed in position.

Providing and fixing panelled, glazed or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows including black enamelled MS butt hinges with necessary screws. a) 38mm thick best available local wood class - B I

Providing and fixing panelled, glazed or panelled and glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows including black enamelled MS butt hinges with necessary screws. a) 30mm thick best available local wood class - B I

Providing and fixing 40 x 3 mm flat iron hold fasts 40 cm long including fixing to frame with 10 mm dia bolts, nuts and wooden plugs and embedding in cement concrete block 30 x 10 x 15 cm in 1 : 3 : 6 (1 cement : 3 sand : 6 hard stone chips 20 mm nominal size).

Providing and fixing stainless steel ( Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Providing and fixing hand rail of approved size by welding etc. to steel ladder railing, balcony railing, staircase railing and similar works, including applying priming coat of approved steel primer. a) M.S. tube

VITRIFIED TILES SKIRTING

Chequered terrazzo tiles 22 mm thick with marble chips of sizes upto 6mm in floors on 25 mm thick bed mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) jointed with neat cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of the tiles including rubbing and polishing complete: a) Light shades using white cement

SH: FINISHING

: CEMENT PLASTER :

12 mm cement plaster 1 : 4 (1 cement : fine sand).

15 mm cement plaster 1 : 6 (1 cement : 6 fine sand) on the rough side of single or half brick wall.

Neat cement punning.

: DISTEMPERING :

Applying one coat of cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface.

: PAINTING :

Wall painting (two or coats) with plastic emulsion paint of approved brand and manufacture on new work to give an even shade.

Interior Walls : Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface : a) Water thinnable cement primer

Interior Walls : Finishing walls with water proofing cement paint of required shade : a) New work (Two or more coats applied @ 3.84 kg/10 sqm)

Constructing brick masonry manhole with 2nd class bricks in cement mortar 1 : 5 (1 cement :5 fine sand) RCC top slab with 1 : 2 : 4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone single 20 mm nominal size), foundation concrete 1 : 4 : 8 mix (1 cement : 4 coarse sand : 8 stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) inside plastering 12 mm thick with cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement and making channels in cement concrete 1 : 2 : 4 mix (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) neatly finished complete as per standard design. a) Inside size 90 x 80 cm and 45 cm deep including CI cover with frame (light duty) 455 x 610 mm internal dimensions total weight of cover and frame to be not less than 38 Kg (weight of cover and frame to be not less than 38 kg, (weight of cover 23 Kg and weight of frame 15 Kg).

Making soak pit 2.50 m dia 3 m deep with 45 x 45 cm dry brick honeycomb shaft and SW drain pipe 100 mmdia 1.80 m long complete as per standard design.
