Dismantling HT pole of any height by taking out from PCC foundation complete and shifting to other location as directed including fixing the pole in true vertical position including excavation and earth work, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as base concrete and PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in both foundation and coping of poles all as specified in Part I-2009 and applying two coats of aluminium paint to pole surface complete all as directed.

Inspection of defective 11kv HT cable(laid in UG/trench/tunnel/wall/surface) to locate the fault using cable fault Locator machine(by surge generators mounted on Van) (fault either by Short/Moisture/earth fault or any type) including complete all as as directed.

M&L for cleaning/Painting the HT poles of OH lines and HT Four poles/two poles and single pole structure complete with cross arms any height and any description thoroughly with necessary cleaning agent including scrapping up of old corroded paint dirt/dust/rust carefully and applying two coats of synthetic aluminum paint including marking and colour washing of pole coping details as are under :-

Maintenance of earthings of installations like cleaning of earth pits, treatment of earthing by puring salt water, replacement of perished wire mesh, unserviceable funnel etc all as directed.

Restreching/Restringing, tightening and repair to overhead line ACSR conductor of any size on LT poles including necessary Aluminium binding wire connectors PVC sleeves for jumper, fixing of insulators and prunning of tree complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking out existing Expulsion fuse unit single pole 11 KV channel mounted complete including supply and fix for new Expulsion fuse unit single pole 11 KV, above 50 & 100 amp channel mounted complete.

Cutting and trimming trees branches any girth and any size touching to overhead lines and cleaning the distance 1.5 mtr length both side of OH line with in a span of 50 mtrs each disposing the same, clearing the site all as directed.

Taking out and Relaying of HT 11 KV cable of size 95 sq mm to 150 Sqmm 3 core after carrying out necessary Repair such as joining with Epoxy joint and laid with sand Cushioning and brick protection and making connection By using Lugs all as specified and directed . Supplying, erecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 mtrs long) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide including taking down old unserviceable PCC poles of any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

M&L for attending, repair and rectification of external LT electric supply complaints on up to 1100 Volts grade, over head/underground system alongwith necessary T&P, safety devices as per site requirement for the following type of complaints complete all as specified and directed:-

Replacement of worn out jumpers, jointing and tightening with new ACSR conductor. Note:- Single phase/two wire or 3 phase/4 wire system will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Disconnecting from over head conductor/ conductor on panel/ FPB, cutting worn out portion of LT cables of any type and size, carry out repairs including taking out cables from under ground loop line and rejoining the same to restore electric supply. Note :- (i) LT Jointing Kits, Cable protection Pipe if required at site will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of lugs/ sockets and cutting and removing the pole coping and inserting the cable alongwith protection pipes.

Taking down old unsv Street light / flood loght fittings in any position of any capacity for Repair by replacement of unsv spares ( SPD / Driver / Mcpcb etc ) and re-fixing the same in existing locatin. Note:- Spares for repair of street light fittings will be measured and paid under respective items.

Notes: (a) The contractor will be allotted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days and sufficient resources will be deployed by him/her for completion of day to day complaint within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. (b) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station.

Restreching/Restringing, tightening and repair to overhead line ACSR conductor of any size on LT poles including necessary Aluminium binding wire connectors PVC sleeves for jumper, fixing of insulators and prunning of tree complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The distance between pole to pole in one span (contains 2/4/6 runs) i.e one span will only be considered for payment purpose. M&L for painting the existing LT steel poles of 9.0 Mtr long including cross arms, clamps, street light junction boxes etc with 1 coats of aluminium paint including throughly cleaning the existing surface, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles. Painting the poles up to 1.5 Mtr height with alternate bands 30 cm height (3 Nos black and 2 Nos Yellow) from ground level, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting unaxious green growth shrubs,branches and grass by manual labour or by machine at all Installation premisses/around and along the boundary / fencing along the pipe line , along the cable route etc. and removing rubbish from the site of work complete all as specified and directed.
