Supply and unload portable drinking water in water bowsers of any capacity from water source to underground sump/ pump house at INS Mandovi, Verem complete all as specified and directed by AGE(I). ( 1 KL = 1000 Ltrs)
NOTES: (a) The water bowser shall be fitted with electric / diesel driven pump set for lifting of water up to 5mtr head. (b) The source of water shall be a Govt authorised agency which shall be got approved by AGE (I) well in advance of supply of water. If required, the source shall be inspected by AGE (I) / JE E/M. (c) The tanker / bowser shall be free from dust, dirt and scales and any other impurities. (d) The contractor shall supply water in hygenically neat and clean conditions every time. (e) The rate quoted shall deemed to be inclusive of transportation of water from Source to Main Pump house at INS Mandovi, Verem.
(f) Any temporary arragement for filling the water in the sump from the bowser shall be made by the contractor at no extra cost to the department. (g) The work order shall be placed by AGE(I) immediately after acceptance of tender for whole contract sum. As and when immediate supply of water is required at the station, the contractor shall be intimated verbally/ over phone by the JE concerned/ AGE (I) with regards to quantity of water and location of sump. The contractor shall start to supply water to the sump of intimated area within 06 hrs from the time of intimation (verbal/ telephonic). However, the quantity of water to be supplied per day depends on user requirement and contractor shall be ready to supply the full requirement for 24 hours as and when intimated by the AGE(I)/ JE, irrespective of the quantity. If supply of water is delayed beyond 06 hrs from the time of intimation (verbal/ telephonic), recovery at the rate of 10% quoted rates shall be effected from contractor’s due payment.
