Replacement of AC roofing sheets with GI roofing sheets

Dismantling AC /GI/ FRP Sheet roofing including ridges, valleys and gutter , J hooks etc and stacking the material within plant premises.

Providing and fixing precoated Galvalume Roofing profile sheets of approved size, shape and pitch up to and including single length of 12.00 met. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws of size (5.5 X 55 mm) with EPDM seal or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm diameter with bitumen and G.I. limpet washers filled with white lead complete upto any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required , including scaffolding as directed by the Engineer-in- charge Galvalume sheet roofing 0.50 mm Thickness in Single sheet.

Providing and fixing precoated Galvalume roofing accessories up to 600 mm total width for ridges, gutters, aprons,and flashings. using self drilling / self tapping screws or with polymer coated J or L hooks, bolts and nuts and or G.I. seam bolts and nuts, G.I. plain and bitumen washers complete.

Repair and Replacement of Existing AC /GI roofing sheets in following steps: 1) Cleaning, Repair and sealing of joints and overlaps of existing sheets roof and its ridges; Tightening, Replacement and sealing of J hooks using cold applied bituminous caulking compound wherever required 2) Sealing of joints of sheets using 1.5 mm thick cold applied APP Modified polyester based membrane strips having 200 mm width , and a top coat of UV reflecting aluminium pigmented bituminous protective layer 3) Sealing of termination points of sheets at Gable end or wherever required using 1.5 mm thickness cold applied APP Modified polyester based membrane and fixing it with aluminium strip 4) Replacement of existing sheets and their patch repair wherever required using UV resistant bituminous tape protected by aluminium-film and reinforced with polyester film.

Providing Assistance of Skilled Manpower one of which shoud have experience in welding to carry out repairing of existing AC sheets or wherever required omplete as directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note:- One person working Eight hours in a day shall be considered as one task.

Providing Assistance of unskilled Manpower along with cleaning acessories , painting acessories such as rollers , brushes whichever required to carry out repairing of existing AC sheets or wherever required complete as directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note:- One person working Eight hours in a day shall be considered as one task.

Supply of Galvanised steel J or L Hooks 8 mm dia or as directed by Engineer in Charge

Supply of cold applied bitminous caulking compound as per IS 1580 : 1991 Note : Max pack size 4kg

Supply of 100 mm wide self adhesive UV resistant bituminous tape protected by aluminium-film and reinforced with polyester film. Note : Acceptable roll length 10 m to 20 m

Supply of 1.5mm thick cold applied APP Modified polyester based membrane Note : Acceptable roll size 1 x 20 m , 1 x10 m

Supply of compatible primer to act as adhesive to cold applied APP Modified polyester based membrane complete as directed by Engineer - in - charge Note : Acceptable max size of pack - 20 kg , minimum residual shelf life - 9 months

Supply of anti-corrosive, good heat deflecting; UV reflecting, air drying aluminium pigmented bituminous coating complete as directed by Engineer - in - charge Note : Acceptable max size of pack - 20 L , minimum residual shelf life - 9 months

Providing 100mm long Aluminium Strip of 5mm X 40mm with 6mm X 50mm SS screws and other fixing acessories to hold the APP membrane on verticle surface complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : required no. of fixing acessories, rawl plugs / SS screws to fixate the strips are also to be provided

Supply of 2 mm thick UV stabilised corrugated FRP sheet roofing sheets similiar to existing sheets having pitch and width compatibe to exisitng AC sheets complete as directed by Engineer - in - charge

Supply of Fibre reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres cement corrugated sheet 6 mm thick of required shape , complete as directed by Engineer - in - charge

Supply as per existing conditions Fibre reinforced by organic fibres and/or inorganic synthetic fibres cement close fitting / cement corrugate serrated / cement plain wing adjustable ridge complete as directed by Engineer - in - charge

Repair and Painting of Masonry Structures

Dismantling Brick work cement mortar with plaster carefully without damaging adjacent structures, carefully identifying cracks in brick work/ de-bonded plaster and chipping the same with chisel after demarking and cutting the boundary grooves including scaffolding , stacking of materials and disposal of unserviceable materials within plant premises as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and constructing brick work in cement mortar in C.M 1:6 Using crushed Sand using Standard bricks of approved quality / class, make / brand in super structure above plinth at all heights in all shapes and sizes including scaffolding, curing, raking out joints complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and fixing G.I. chicken mesh in the junctions of concrete & brick work / masonry or as directed by the Engineer in charge including cutting, fixing with nails in position before plastering , scaffolding complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. (only area of the chicken mesh used alone will be measured).

Providing patchwork of 20 mm thick plastering in two coats under layer 12 mm thick with C.M 1:4 (usin crushed sand) finished with a top layer 8 mm thick in C. M 1:3 (using crushed sand) including approved water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer's specifications, sieving of sand to required fineness, scaffolding up to all height, finishing, curing etc.complete as per specifications. and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying and applying polymer coating using SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) Polymer Latex and Cement (1:10) mix as a waterproofing coating of approved product over walls, parapet, projections etc. at all elevations including cleaning and preparation of surface by removing of all loose materials by wire brushing , Removing white or colour wash, exterior paint by scrapping and sand papering and then cleaning the entire surface with hydro-jet blasting to remove fungal growth, and preparing the surface smooth including curing complete, all as per specification and as directed by EIC.

Providing, painting, finishing walls with two coats of anti-algae, weather proof acrylic smooth emulusion paint of approved make with silicon additives on sand face plaster/ plain plaster and concrete surfaces of required shade over old work including a base coat of exterior cement primer including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and Painting with 1st quality acrylic washable distemper (ready made) with Two coats on old work of approved make and manufacturer and of required shade and colour, including scaffolding, Removing white or colour wash, distemper, by scrapping and sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete all as directed at site , cleaning of the areas, filling up minor cracks on plaster/concrete walls surfaces , minor repairs with cement, and making good the damaged & rough surfaces , providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved make over concrete or Plastered surface to get uniform surface free from undulation including complete preparation of the surfaces , cost of all materials, labour, tools & tackles, cleaning of dirt, dripped mortar preparing the surfaces; cleaning of doors, windows, ventilators, etc. after the completion of painting work etc., including a coat of approved cement primer, complete as per manufacturer's specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Repair and Painting of Structural Steel

Dismantling steel work in built up sections in angles, tees, flats, tubular , hollow and channels including all gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets, welding etc. including scaffolding, dismantling and stacking at various location of TAPS-3&4 and disposing unservicable material within plant premises or as directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting, splicing , strengthening and fixing in position structural steel members like trusses, purlins, posts etc. using MS hollow / circular / square / rectangular tubular sections using materials produced by SAIL / RINL (Vizag Steel) / TATA /approved brand including appling a coat of Zinc chromate primer of approved make , scaffolding all as per specifications, drawings and as directed by the Engineer in charge. All test reports to be provided along with the supply of the materials

Supplying and fixing hilti /fischer make or equivalant Anchor fastener (HST3 M12x115) including scaffolding tools & tackles etc. complete as directed by Engineer -In-Charge.

Providing and Painting two coats of synthetic enamel paint on old Steel Surfaces (such as fixed at site built up sections in angles, tees, flats, tubular , hollow, channels , gusset plates, bolts, nuts, cutting rivets) of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade with one coat of primer with ready mixed red oxide primer of approved brand including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
