REPAIR TO ROOF / ROOF TREATMENT, AND CONNECTED WORK IN DOMESTIC AREA AT AFS KALAIKUNDA UNDER GE (AF) KALAIKUNDA

Demolition of cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for and removing of debris from premises and cleaning roof surfaces by brushing etc and washing down with water and removing dirt, dust etc complete to receive roof treatment up to 10 mtr height including necessary scalfolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixtures of bitumen and clean dry sand (1:1), by weight all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for waterproofing treatment to existing RCC roof in the following steps up to 10 mtr height including necessary scalfolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed... (i) Complete removal of the existing water proofing treatment including padding (buid in cm/concrete) and removing of debris from premises and cleaning roof surfaces by brushing etc and washing down with water and removing dirt, dust etc complete (ii) Wire brushing and cleaning top surface of tiles, lime terracing or cement concrete, including flashings and junction of parapets, etc., and surface painting, with a layer of blown grade bitumen of any penetration applied hot @ 1.7 kg per sq. m, blinded with grit or pea size gravel @ 0.006 cu.m per sq.m, and lightly tampered (area of flashings, etc., shall be added to the roof area) (iiii) PCC roof padding including providing 40 mm thick plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0using 12.5 mm graded aggregates as in roof padding. (iv) Providing 10 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:3), mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions, on concrete surface of roofs or terracing and finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement. (iv) Waterproofing treatment over smooth finished surfaces after application of cold applied bituminous primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sq M,, providing and laying APP polymer, modified, non-woven polyester fabric of 150 grams/square metre, reinforced membrane, 3.00 mm thick, weighing 3.50 Kg / Sq M, by torch on application method, with minimum 75 mm overlap on longitudinal direction and 100 mm overlap on the transverse direction or as per manufacturer,s instructions complete all as specified and directed. Make of APP Membrane : M/s STP Ltd./M/s Texsa India Ltd./M/s IWL India Ltd/Asain Ltd/Sika 3. APP membrane shall be laid and tested by the manufacturer deploying their own team under strict supervisionand Leak proof testing with ponding with water shall be done for 72 hours in presence of user representative and report shall be sumitted. Requisite guarantee certificate from manufacturer along with contractor’s certificate required to be furnished after successfully completion of testing. The submission of both certificate is mandatory before issue of completion certificate.

(iii) Applying bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltrs per sqm over prepared surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces confirming to IS : 3384. (iv) One layer of APP based polymeric membranes of approved manufacturers, 3 mm thick, weight not less than 3.6 kg/sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester fabric (weight not less than 160 gms/sqm). Polymeric membrane shall be taken to cover the thickness of slab and shall be finished by a membrane flushing. Note: (i) Laying of APP based membranes shall be done by torch application or as per manufacturer's instructions. (ii) Side overlaps shall be minimum 75 mm and the end taps shall be minimum 100 mm and sealing of all overlaps & joints as per manufacturer instruction. (iii) For parapets, membranes shall be taken to a height of minimum 60 Cm and then inserted to the parapet in a groove. The same shall be finished by a membrane flashing. M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type BO using 12.5 mm graded aggregate as in haunching. Kerb in roof, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, chajja or similar work up to 10 mtr height including necessary scalfolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for Brick work with fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6 M mean radius built in cement mortar 1:6 Complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down SWR pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, 'T', bends,etc., including removal to store for taking credit or for refixing (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories), complete all as directed.

S & F PVC-U, type B as per IS 13592: 2013 single socketed soil waste pipes in any length with rubber ring joints, 110 mm dia, fixed to walls incuding mild steel clamp not more than 1metre C/C complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- charge .

All as per BOQ Srl No 09.00 here-in-before but for fixing only (Serviceable Material obtain from BOQ Srl Item No 8.00 shall be reused)

S & F UPVC bends with inspection door (any angle), 110mm dia conforming to IS 14735: 1999 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- charge

All as per BOQ Srl No 11.00 here-in-before but for fixing only (Serviceable Material obtain from BOQ Srl Item No. 8.00 shall be reused)

Taking down cement plaster from brick or concrete surfaces of any description including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for rendering 5mm thick, cement plaster, in cement mortar (1:4) mixed with water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions over and including 10mm thick backing coat in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surface in walls, at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed. Note: - (Water proofing compound will be measured and paid separately)

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound conforming to IS: 2645 - 2003 specification complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 5 mm thick in CM 1:3 on fair face of concrete surfaces as in ceiling, chajja, shelves etc. finished even and smooth with out using extra cement at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of ceiling and applying three coat of white wash on new surface at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for applying two coats of cement-based paint, white or tinted to new plastered surfaces on walls including priming with alkali resistant priming paint and including preparation of surfaces at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down 15mm dia GI steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking up or down 20mm dia GI steel tubing and connections, including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing of old steel tubing and connection with new fittings ISI Marked in new or old position (wall, ceiling, floors, etc) of 15 mm bore all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed.

Refixing of old steel tubing and connection with new fittings ISI Marked in new or old position (wall, ceiling, floors, etc) of 20 mm bore all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & fixing to walls , ceiling and laid in trenches 15 mm nominal bore, medium grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & fixing to walls , ceiling and laid in trenches 20 mm nominal bore, medium grade, galvanised coated steel tube conforming to IS 1239 (Part-1): 2004 including all fittings conforming to IS 1239 (Part-2): 2011 complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F rotational moulded polyethylene multi layer water tanks (vertical cylindrical with close top) as per IS 12701: 1996 of 500 litres capacity hoisted and fixed in position including provision of 20 mm /15 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for connecting inlet, outlet, over flow and washout pipes with and including 20mm Brass ball valves high pressure with polythene float and nut with and including dismantling exsiting unservieable tank one at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

S & F rotational moulded polyethylene multi layer water tanks (vertical cylindrical with close top) as per IS 12701: 1996 of 1000 litres capacity hoisted and fixed in position including provision of 20 mm /15 mm dia medium grade GI pipe for connecting inlet, outlet, over flow and washout pipes with and including 20mm Brass ball valves high pressure with polythene float and nut with and including dismantling exsiting unservieable tank one at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair 20 mm nominal size brass float valve, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut, screwed for iron pipe and fixed at any height and safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing water tanks, setting aside for repairs hoisting if required and refixing in position after cleaning of service PVC tank by rubbing vertical wall and bottom of with bleaching powder and allowed ½ hour to react and then washing down with water to get free from deposits and bleaching inside the tank and application/spraying of Anti-Bacterial chemicals to ensure total sterilization of tank from the inside, inside of the tank should be treated to kill further floating bacteria/virus in order to make the tank totally clean, bacteria free and safe for storage of drinking water. of capacity exceeding 250 ltrs & upto 500 ltrs capacity complete including mentioning the date of cleaning with white/black paint up to 10 mtr height including necessary scalfolding and safety measures complete all as specified and as directed.
