Turnkey project for Supply and Construction of 125 mtr Passenger cum Material Foot Bridge having capacity of 10 person/1000kg at a time at identified location. Upon completion, the same shall be handed over to Commanding Officer 106 Engineer Regiment in fully operational condition. Maintenance and supervision during operation including provision of necessary spares/store for maintenance for a period of three years shall be provided by supplier at cost and risk of supplier from the date of commissioning of Foot Bridge. Note: - (a) The Far Bank where the farther end of the foot bridge is to be constructed is an island which is approachable only through water channel of the River. Preliminary visit and reconnaissance of the site proposed for construction of the Foot Bridge shall be carried out prior to bidding to familiarize the vendor with typical transport requirement along with indenting and user representatives. Detailed technical Pre Bid meeting for detailed technical discussion will be held to understand the user requirements to finalize a sound and effective Foot Bridge which would cater for trouble-free material handling operations and movement of personnel to and fro across the river. (b) The unsuccessful bidders shall not to claim the expenses for site visit and the same shall be borne by themselves.
