Development of lawn including 150mm digging and levelling the surface of the earth, area cleaning, collection, supply & planting Mexican grass of good quality including conveyance, cost of grass and plants etc., all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Planting the plants / saplings in required site taken from nursery, including formation of pits, spreading & filling of red earth and farm yard manure to an average thickness of 50mm, conveyance from nursery, planting and initial watering all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The rate shall be excluding the cost of red earth and farm yard manure used for planting operation and the rate shall be including loading and unloading of material.

Conveying and disposing the unwanted surplus excavated earth and debris, broken materials rubbish, boulders and spoil by mechanical means and deposting at identified places with a lead charge for exceeding 3 Kilometre but not exceeding 4 Kilometre, as dumping yard as per requirement with a lead specified below including loading, unloading, breaking clods, levelling all as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the hire charges for lorry for loading and unloading, collecting and disposing of swept materials the same as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. 2. The rates for conveying and transporting of soil in respect of this item area applicable for the net quantities arrived after making deduction for voids @ 20% inrespect of soil, 30% inrespect of debris and 50% inrespect of rocks from the corresponding stack / truck measurement.

Supplying, installing, testing and commissioning of Kirloskar or other equivalent approved make WATER SERVICES PUMP conforming to ISI standards self priming mono block pump of suction and delivery of size 50mmx40mm for a capacity of upto 4.5LPS against 33 meters total head with motor rating of 3 HP, 2.2 KW, TEFC Motor enclosure, continuously rated voltage 50 Hz, AC three phase supply 230 volts with IP 55 protection and 'B' Class insulation including providing and fixing of suitable starter, wires if any of approved make and ISI marked etc., all complete including testing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance of lawns, flower beds, hedges, trees etc., in garden area by using Department sprinklers (Pop-up) for watering at regular intervals, cutting and trimming hedges, and the unwanted growth of grasses as and when required including running lawn mover, removing weeds, collecting the cut grass, fallen leaves of trees and disposing the same at dumping yards shown by the department, watering the trees inside the garden area complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. The rate shall include the cost of hire charges of lorry and labour for transporting of cut grass, leaves etc., to the dumping yard. 2. The rate shall also include cost of all tools, plants, water delivery hose required for gardening etc. 3. The rate quoted shall be per Sq.m. area maintained per month. 4. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for Lawn Movers. If departmental lawn movers is available it will be provided by department on chargeable basis. 5. If lawn mover is not used, then recovery at the rate of 20 Paise / Sq.m. will be levied as penalty from RA Bill. 6. The contractor shall engage minimum 1 (One) No. of labourer for every 2200 sqm daily as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Failure to employ the above minimum numbers of labour will attract penal clause as per additional special condition of contract attached with the tender for every default of labour. 7. The contractor shall supply the PPE to the garden labour and they should wear the PPE during thier working hours.

Operation of Garden water supply pumps located in different areas of DAE Main gate area including operating regulation valves and different sector of garden network, monitoring water level in the wells to avoid dry run of motor and cleaning the pumps, pump room, etc., all complete and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The Contractor has to engage minimum of 1 operator general shift timing 9.00 to 17.30 hours every day throughout the year excluding Sundays and holidays. If any shortfall found during the contract period, he will be penalised at the rate of 3.0 units/operator/day shall be deducted from the RA bills.

Levelling, bull-dozing the heeped/dumped loosened earth/debris etc., by hiring JCB incluing labour if any required etc., all complete and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
