Material and labour for blower motor assembly of Air curtain unit of any type capacity and length, single phase AC, 230 Volts as including electrical connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out 3 phase tower AC complete for repair / servicing and overhauling of capacity 4.0 TR Tower type AC after disconnecting refrigerant pipes, drain pipe and electric connection, removing dust by using blower and cleaning the condenser coils and components by using water and caustic soda/cleaning chemical agents, checking and replacing the spares like relay, capacitors, thermostat, fan motor, blades & blower etc. and also connecting of refrigerant pipe, drain pipe and charging of refrigerant gas and testing including fixing back in its original location complete all as specified and directed. Note :-(i) Refrigerant gas shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Supply and fix PCB (circuit plate) of in-door unit of 4.0 TR Tower type AC complete including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix PCB (circuit plate) of out door unit of 4.0 TR Tower type AC complete including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing Hermetic sealed/Rotory new compressor for 4.0 TR Tower AC capacity including disconnecting the electrical and refrigerant connection of defective sealed unit of 4.0 TR Tower AC and connection of all pipe line & charging of refrigerant and testing complete including taking down existing one complete all as specified and directed.

Removing the window/ split type AC up to 1.5/ 2 ton capacity of any make from any location for carrying out servicing complete as and when directed and installing back at original location, testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Disconnecting of burnt/ damaged cables from panels/ junction boxes etc, cutting out the burnt out ends, making new end joints by supply and fixing new aluminium lugs/ insulation tape etc and reconnecting using new nuts/ bolts/ washer etc and restoring three phase and neutral in the junction box, complete all as specified and as directed for the cable size from 120 Sqmm to 185 Sqmm 3.5 core of LT underground armoured cables. Notes : (i) The contractor shall bring the fault locating equipment at site with in 02 hours of instructions received from Engineer -in- charge and he shall ensure that the fault is rectified with in 8 hours of receipt of intimation through telephone from Engineer-in-charge failing which recovery of Rs. 10000.00 per hour shall be recovered from the contractors dues w.e.f the time immediately after the expiry of 24 hours duration. (ii) For the purpose of payment one unit of “Each job” shall comprise of detection of faults in a particular stretch of cable which are identified in that particular stretch, irrespective of number of defects / faults in that particular stretch which are detected during fault detection and the contractors unit rate quoted shall be deemed to include for the same and all such defects / faults which are detected in that particular stretch shall be considered as one unit. (iii.) Joints, jointing materials and cable required shall be measured and paid for separately

Supply and fixing ON LOAD change over switch 4 pole 630 Amps with sheet metal enclosure in LT panel boards / feeder pillar boxes including disconnecting and removing existing defective item from electric circuit including necessary connecting fasteners, burnt cables, accessories, all as per site requirement/existing make/model, complete all as specified and as directed. Attending complaints for non-functional/ unserviceable street light/perimeter lights/high mast light/flood light etc of any type/size fitted on poles/walls/post/pillars etc) by deploying technically qualified and experienced technicians to find out defects and taking out unserviceable parts such as electronic driver, pvc insulated copper conductor cable for connecting street light fittings etc and repairing by changing the defective parts including minor repair to cable connection/loose connection, screws,nuts & bolts and insulation tape to insulate the LT joint etc and testing complete all as specified and as directed at AF Station East and West Area Jalahalli.

Note : The following items are deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate :-

The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced to the Engr-in-Charge before commencement of work.

Contractor or his Authorised Representative has to inspect all Street/ Security Lights on Daily basis at their own arrangement between 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM and maintain the record in Register which will be put up to Engineer-in-Charge/ JE on the very regular basis. (Every succeding day)

A Joint Inspection for Serviceability of all Street/Security Lights will be carried out from 7.00 PM to 9.00 PM on every MONDAY by Engineer-in-Charge/ JE (E/M)/ User along with Contractor or his authorised Representative.

Contractor has to arrange own moveable Generator of suitable capacity for repairing and testing of the Street/ Security Lights, defect rectification of Cables, etc. and to check the serviceability after repair. No Electricity shall be provided by the Department on this account.

Quoted Unit Rate shall deemed to be inclusive of attending any breakdown of Street/ Security Lights during night. Contractor has to arrange Electrician and Helper and all necessary T&P and Equipment's to remove the breakdown. Fault will be intimated through Telephone/ SMS.

Contractor shall provide conveyance to the employed labour for maintaining the services without any extra cost to department.

Vehicle mounted ladder for maitenance services shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost to department.

Material required for the repairing of the lights shall be measured and paid separately under respective item(s) . But labour required for taking down, dismantling, repairing and replacing parts and reinstalling and testing the lights fittings shall deemed to be included in the rate quoted.

Necessary T&P, Safety Belt, Vehicle, Aluminium Ladder, etc. will be arranged by the Contractor and Cost for the same shall deem to be included in the Quoted Unit Rate.

All safety measures and provn of all safety devices, first aid box etc shall be provided by the contractor. Contractor will be solely responsible for full safety of the tradesmen deployed for providing the services and department will have no liability for any type of accident. Unit rate quoted will be deemed to include the cost of the same and no extra payment shall be made on this account.

All type of T & P, PVC insulation tapes, minor nuts/ bolts/ washers etc required for maintaining the services shall be provided by the contractor without any extra cost to department.

Attending and repairing complaint for one light of any type shall be measured and paid as one Job.

Earth work (if necessary at Site) for removing of any Cable Fault will be Measured and Paid under respective Items.

Contractor has to ensure serviceability of all Street/ Security Lights in above mentioned DOMESTIC & TECHNICAL AREA on Daily basis in any weather condition at their own arrangement.

In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent work, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Charge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other than condition 67 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regards shall be final and binding.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.

Material and labour for Earth pit cover made of heavy duty poly plastic of high grade polypropylene tested and certified by any NABL accredited lab for load bearing capacity not less than 7.2 tonnes with top dia not less than 250mm, bottom dia not less than 330 mm and height not less than 260 mm for each electrode pit complete including taking down old one complete all as specified and directed.
