M & L for preparation of old painted surface of concrete/flexible pavement and applying one coat of road marking paint /water based grade-2 conforming to IS 164-1981 (white,Yellow,Black and Orange, etc ) as in 102 Sqn Dispersal, PTT, tech flt dispersal, loops/links etc complete all as specified and as directed. (The work may be ordered six times during currency of the contract) (Each coat will be measured and paid separately if directed in the writting for additional coat) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking of joint/removing old any sealing compound, dirt from EXPANSION JOINTS 20mm wide (+ 3 mm) and 40 mm deep, cleaning the joint sides properly by mechanical means with diamond cutter, filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 20mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints, priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene/polysulphide sealing compound and filling polyurathene/polysulphide based sealent, 10 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking of joints/removing old any sealing compound, dirt from DUMMY/contraction JOINTS 10 mm wide (+ 3 mm) and 30 mm deep, cleaning the joint sides properly by mechanical means with diamond cutter ,filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 10 mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints,priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene/polysulphide sealing compound and filling polyurathene/polysulphide based sealent, 10 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for raking of joints/removing old any sealing compound, dirt ,upto a average depth of 30 mm from CONSTRUCTION JOINTS of a average width 12 mm, (+ 3 mm) cleaning the joint sides properly by mechanical means with diamond cutter, filling the joints with closed cell, medium density, cross linked polyethene foam backup rod of 12 mm dia and applying bond breaker tape on top of backup rod for complete width of the joints,priming top with specified primer suitable for polyurathene/polysulphide sealing compound and filling polyurathene/polysulphide based sealent, 13 mm thick including using masking tape on edges of joints to avoid accidental spillage of sealent on top of surface of pavements complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making good cracks/repair in Concrete slabs (exposed rigid pavement ) by cutting 30 mm to 40 mm deep and cutting spilled joint, sides perpendicular and parallel to edges by mechanical tools like Dimond cutter, cleaning with compressed air under pressure and filling with Elastomeric concrete after application of specified primer all as per manufacturer instruction and specifications complete and removal of rubbish to a distance exc 250 m and nexc 500 m and depositing complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for making good cracks in slabs (exposed rigid pavement) by cutting grooves 30mm to 40mm deep and cutting spilled joint sides perpendicular and parallel to edges by mechanical tools like diamond cutter , cleaning with compressed air under pressure and filling with epoxy resin mortar after application of specified primer and removal of rubbish to distance exc 250m and n.exc. 500m and depositing, complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L preparing old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing any foreign objects or other stone pieces/vegetations etc and sweeping with brooms and finally cleaning with air compressor, making the surface free from dust and applying polymer modified bitumen emulsion PMBEs by spraying with conventional tractor mounted bitumen sprayer, complete for uniform application with undiluted quantity of PMBEs @ 1.0 litres/sqm mix with water in 1:1 ratio and provide uniform finish to runway complete all as per manufacturer instruction and as specified and as directed. Note:- (a) The work shall be carried out after filling of pores, pin/pot holes of area not exc 421 sqmm each and filled with ready mix Dense asphaltic concrete (DAC) and finished properly to match with existing flexible portion of runway and to be executed one day before placing of polymer modified emulsion, and rate will be inclusive in quoted rate. (b) Contractor shall produce original purchase voucher of PMBEs from authorized dealer. (c) Contractor shall bring the materials and to be incorporated after checking the consignment by Engr in charge. (d) Runway surface friction will be tested by the contractor prior and after the application of PMBEs and rates thereof shall included in the unit rate of this item. (e) Arrangement for protection of centre line lights to be made before application of bitumen emulsion. Any damage to centre line light to be repair at his own cost. (f) Protection to centre line painting to be arranged by the contractor and cost of it will be included in quoted rate. (g) Any spillage of bitumen emulsion over existing centre line paint and centre line light to be removed by the contractor and cost of it will be included in quoted rate.

M&L for cleaning of monsoon drain covered/open, 1.5 m in depth(avg) as ordered including taking out covers and refixing the same, accumulated silts sand muds etc from bottom of drain removal of all types of organic materials silts, sand, muds etc from bottom of brick drain etc to a distance of exc 250 mtr complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for scraping of grass/wild growth, etc manually or by bush cutter around the runway lights DTGM/link boards, monsoon drain channels etc in airfield area including removing of rubbish from the site to a distance not exc 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level n.exc 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with sub class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius built in CM 1:6 complete all as specified.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in CM (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces/stone masonary and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork using sub class B Bricks laid flat inside of drain bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Brickwork using sub class B Bricks laid on edge in floors bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and pointed in cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Cement Concrete unreinforced in any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided complete all as specified and directed

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (20mm graded aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC (1:2:4) type B0 (12.5mm graded aggregate) as in coping, kerbs complete all as specified and directed.
