Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 meters wide and not exc1.5 meters deep for pipe line in soft/loose soil, getting out and levelling of bottom surface to required level all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick all as specified and directed by Eng. In Charge

Removal of excavated material from site to a distance not exceeding 50 meters away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches by cutting of road crossing, PCC hard standing for taking out/laying of pipe lines including PCC (1:2:4) type B-2 (with 40 mm graded aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete including making good the existing surface all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying jointing, testing DI pipe with class-K-7 spigot socketed ends , conforming to IS-8329 laid in trenches of the following sizes as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Tyton Joint, Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately.)

Material and labour for DI specials like bends, tapers any type any radius and angle, Tee pieces single branch `Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, DI connecting pieces one end flanged and other end spigot/socket, reducers/bell mouth pieces one end flanged and other end tapering as bell mouth for the size up to 250 mm dia bore.

Material and labour for Cast iron bends, tapers any type any radius and angle, Tee pieces single branch `Y' junction, double branch, cross (both all sockets or socket and spigot or flanged) collars, cast Iron connecting pieces one end flanged and other end spigot/socket, reducers/bell mouth pieces one end flanged and other end tapering as bell mouth for the size up to 250 mm dia bore.

Material and labour for Rubber Gasket Joint (Tyton Joint) including jointing material for DI/CI pipe of following size/bore :-

Material and labour including jointing and testing of cast iron sluice valves class PN-1.0, conforming to IS:14846 flanged ends drilled having stainless steel spindle with cast iron wheel at top complete with nuts, bolts, washers and rubber gaskets including taking out unserviceable sluice valve and removal from site for the following sizes complete all as specified .

Supply and fixing jointing and testing of cast iron Non return valve without by pass arrangement swing type confirming to IS 5312 flanged ends pressure rating PN 1.0 complete including taking out unserviceable NRV all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note - Flanged joints complete with rubber jointing material shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item

Supply and installation of flanged ends Water Meter woltman type, including testing and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts etc ISI Marked fixing in horizontal/incline/vertical position, including taking out unserviceable of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for installation of flanged ends strainer/dirt box, PN-10 with stainless steel mesh suitable for water meter for potable water supplies on up stream of water meter to avoid foreign material entering into meter including taking out unserviceable of following sizes complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying , laying , jointing, welding and testing MS Pipe (Heavy class 'C') IS : 1239/3589, of following sizes laid in trenches or in Horizontal/Vertical/inclined position or laying on floors for connections for suction, to header and connected to out going water main CI/DI pipe line, for following size:- MS Flanges incl fabrication work will be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MS flange 100 mm bore ,16mm thick duly welded with flange joint including nuts bolts ,washer ,Rubber or fiber board gasket joint of size 100 mm size.

Supply and fixing in replacement of MS flange 150 mm bore, 16mm thick duly welded with flange joint including nuts bolts, washer ,Rubber or fiber board gasket joint of size 150 mm size.

Construction of valves pit chamber having internal dimension 120 cm x 120 cm x 120 cm (internal height) using PCC (1:4:8) 40mm graded stone aggregate for foundation 15 cms. Thick, 23 cm tick wall in CM (1:4), 10mm tick rendering all around the brick work with 1:6 cement mortar, PCC (1:2:4) type B1 coping with 20mm graded aggregate for grouting MS frame including 3mm tick MS top sheet cover with locking arrangement including 50mm pad lock with double key angle iron including painting of steel surface with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primers including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning filling in and removal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs all as specified and shown on drg No CWE (U)/D-1/86 sheet No 1/1 and including demolition/ dismantling of existing valve chamber as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for excavation in any type of soil through trenchless technology by HDD (Horizontal directional drilling method) including preparing and setting up the plant and equipment. Preparing new pipe work material including all related civil work and mechanical work like excavation, shoring/strutting etc drilling, stringing, reaming and pulling back the new HDPE and MS pipe work on the path alignment proper disposal of drilling fluid and ground penetrating radar survey to protect any exiting utilities at the pipe installation location restoration of site after completion all inclusive as per and STT IS No 2.3.2.2.2.2. second edition 2008 code of practice for trenchless technology suiting Indian condition for making horizontal bore of size upto 350mm dia suitable for HDPE pipe insertion under road crossing /hard standing M&L for HDPE pipe, Jointing and Jointing Material complete of size 300 mm nominal dia of 28.3 mm min. Wall thickness of grade PE 80 for protection of MS pipe to any depth by manually or any means complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- (a) MS Pipe will be measured and paid separately. (b) Permission required from civil authority/department prior to executing the work is the responsibility of contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the contractor complete.

Supply and fix Cast Iron Air Valves with single air Outlets, conforming to IS 14845 and fixing up in Cast Iron/Ductile Iron Water supply mains of 100 mm dia size.

M & L for PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded aggregate as in foundation for including fair finish even and fair to exposed surfaces without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed
