GE (AF) MC/CHD/T-55/2026-27 ROOF TREATMENT OF VARIOUS BUILDINGS IN TECH AREA AT 3 BRD UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Dismantling brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roof and removal of unserviceable brick tiles / brick bats of rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down existing bitumen felt including cement mortar bedding padding and cleaning the surface and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of mud in roof, any thickness, including plastering and leaping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B0 (12.5 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in padding on roof laid in 50mm thick average required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note : The PCC will have to be poured by the RMC.

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in roof kerb, mud stops, benching including demolition of existing PCC and removal of all rubbish outside defence land upto a distance exc 1.5Km but n.exc 5Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 10mm thick in cement mortar (1:3) using WPC @ 200ML per 50Kg bag of cement on surfaces of roof and parapet, finished even & fair without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- WPC shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for cleaning the surface before final treatment on roof as specified, applying the double layer of glass fibre mesh of 60 GSM over the roof using poly plastic fibre adhesive mix/Eazeecoat Ultra mix in the following manner :- (a) Making poly plastic fibre adhesive mix/Eazeecoat Ultra mix by adding polyplastic fibre adhesive/Eazeecoat Ultra and white cement in equal proportion and add 25% water in it to make the mixture per manufacturer instructions. (b) The double layer of fibre mesh to be spread on the roof & apply two coat of above mixture of poly plastic fibre adhesive/Eazeecoat Ultra with a roller & brush to cover the fibre mesh throughouly. (c) Process of roof lamination :- Lamination/top coat on the roof using poly plastic fibre coat/Eazeecoat Ultra with white cement & water as per manufacturer instructions. Top coat is ammonia free, w/o any harmful effects & is flexible in nature. (d) Minimum thickness of the treatment shall be 2mm. Make : Nerolac Perma/ European Paints & Chemicals or equivalent approved make.

All as per item No. 8 here-in-before but as in chajjas.

M&L for preparation of old plastered /concrete surfaces of ceiling and applying one coat of oil bound distemper, white or tinted at any height including necessary scaffolding etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
