M&L for Dismantling/ taking down old existing unserviceable cement plaster, loose/ unsound weaken cement concrete of any description and in any position from existing external / internal surface of RCC roof/ slab/ beams/ columns/ RCC facia for an average depth of 25mm (Approx height 7.5m from natural ground level) with power driven pneumatic flat/pointed chisel and removing the honeycombed area including all the corners and making a neat profile of the cavities, roughen the smooth surface , scrapping out/removing corrosion all loose/scale/rust etc form the visible reinforcement by applying rust remover such as Rust Off 100 of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermax Limited( as approved by GE) and cleaning the steel reinforcement properly, complete all as per manufactures instruction and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.allowed to dry.

Note :- (a) Providing cement based angle fillet for 75mm X 75mm admixer with Sikacim, integral waterproofing liquid M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd, (as approved by GE) @ 0.2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions over a coat of acrylic emulsion bonding agent, such as Sika Latex in 1:1:3 ratio of Make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/S Fosroc chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) having specific gravity of 1.02 or as per manufacturer’s instructions with necessary surface preparation such as creating mechanical key like rougheing the surface by scrabbing, grit blasting and cleaning the existing surface using high pressure water jet machine having pressure upto 500 bar pressure to remove the dirt, dust, loose particles , wax, efforencene and other contaminations from the surface of RCC columns/ beams/ slabs/ facia/ any brick/ stone surfaces etc complete all as manufactures instructions and all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

(b) Providing and applying FRIAZINC R, corrosion inhabiliting Active Zinc rich primer of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd (as approved by GE) along the exposed reinforcement surface property and allowed to dry.

c)Providing and applying Hibond, Epoxy based Thixotropic bonding adhesive of Make from M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd, (as approved by GE) over the prepared concrete surface to get a good bonding between existing concrete surface and providing Sika Rep Microcrete 4 Fiber reinforced cementitious repair micro concrete of make M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, or equivalent in M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermex Ltd ( as approved by GE) over Epoxy based bonding agent applied area before 6 Hrs etc including providing necessary proportions , bracing and runners to relieve the member from the load coming on it including scaffolding leak proof shuttering with working platform as required and as per design and pattern complete including preparing the surface to match with the existing surface,complete all as specified and directed.

(d) Note : The work under (Item No. 1 to Item No. 4 of BOQ) shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators from any of the following manufacturer only. M/s Sika India Pvt Ltd, M/s Fosroc Chemicals, M/s Thermax Limited

(e) A performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified

(f) The unit rate quoted is deemed to be included for Removing of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land. Note: Periodicity of cutting of grass shall be before commencement of work and after completion of repairs.

M&L for cleaning and removing all corrosion scales , rust , etc using emery / wire brush and finally cleaning using rust remover & cleaning agent that is one part alkaline based material, with corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and supplied as a clear brown solution. The specific gravity shall be 1.2 – 1.22 @ 25°C. The pH value shall be between 9.5 to 10 and the coverage shall be 5 – 6 m2/ L as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for repair to cracks and damaged existing surfaces by Hydrogen Free Expanding And Plasticising Additive . It plasticizes the mix, allowing for substantial reduction in water without affecting the fluidity, thus improving the strength and impermeability, the admixture/ additive in cement to provide non‐shrink properties Cementitious Cable Encapsulation . (a). Fixing of pvc nozzles in zig-zag fashion not more than 50cm c/c on RCC surfaces on all directions as required after drilling holes in concrete, fixing pvc nozzles with fast setting mortar and covering with renderoc plug. The size of holes shall be 20mm dia and 75mm in depth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying Polyster Resin based Anchoring material in concrete before fixing nozzle it should typically attains a compressive strength in excess of 20N/mm @ 3 hours and and ultimate compressive strength of 70N/mm in 7 days (50mm x 50mm x 50mm)when tested as per BS 6319 Part 2 : 1983as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Shear thinning agents in RCC/ walls/ ceiling/ columns/ beams/floor/bricks cracks after opening up in “V” groove manner covering the area of 300mm from central line of crack with the depth of 8 mm complete with three components compound graded filler, E-Resins and Shear thinning agents with adjustable consistency by varying the filler component epoxy resin based complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for applying 2 coats of two component amine cured epoxy mastic coating using Light brush blasting using nonmetallic abrasive leaving a clean, rough and even pattern.it should be based on a 100% epoxy formulation and contains no solvents or water diluents. Apply two coats with brush or squeeze to the existing surface, working well into the substrate.it should achieve Compressive Strength of >70 MPa after 14days, having pot life, minutes at 27⁰C, 100 g >40 mass as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for providing and fixing welded MS wire mesh weighing not less than 1Kg/Sqm of size 50mmX50mm of 2.6mm dia on the prepared surface & surface should be cleaned and be removed from dirt, fungus and all foreign material complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for removing old existing rubbish/battered/useless mixture of the binding materials such as cement / Lime and fine aggregate (<4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), loose/unsound weaken mixture of binding materials such as cement / Lime and coarse Aggregate (>4.5mm retained on IS Sieve), fine Aggregate of any description and in any position from existing external/internal surfaces of RCC components or any surface having average profundity of 15mm (Approx height 10m from natural ground level) by hand tool that has a long metal blade with a sharp edge at the end, chisel and hammer or using robust pneumatic chisel hand tools and removal beyond MoD land including cutting of all edges, making square shoulders of the aperture, coarsen the smooth surfaces, curettage /removing of all deterioted/decayed loose surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for applying 2 coats of primer slurry prior to the application of the repair mortar having multiple corrosion inhibiting synergies and which is a blend of pc graded fillers corrosion inhibiting additive and re-dispersible polymers in powder form mixed with water for application by brush to coat the reinforcement/steel within 10mm of the finish surface and where chlorides are present so as to achieve adhesion bond strength of 1 MPa to steel. Pot life of 0.5 hr @ 30°C. It shall be workable for not more than 15 minutes at same temperature. The mixed density shall be not more than 2.05. The water/powder ratio shall be 0.3 by weight complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for applying 20mm shear thinning fibre reinforced polymer modified , impermeable to aggressive elements, dual shrinkage compensated, cementitious repair mortar with alkali resistant synthetic fibres for exceptional resistance cracking complies ASTM C 109 with flexural strength ASTM C 348 @ 7 days meeting 7N/sqmm, tensile strength @ 7days (ASTM C 307)> 3 N/sqmm, compressive strength of 35MPa at 7 day and 45MPa at 28 days, at the outer or inner RCC which provides excellent bond to concrete, Improves tensile and flexural properties of mortar, Versatile having specific gravity of 1.02 cement sand can be used for finishing purpose complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for providing and spraying polyamine cured epoxy coating incorporating a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system compound over the plastered surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. It shall have a specific gravity of 1.02 and the minimum application temperature shall be 10°C and the strength of concrete complies with the internationally recognised ASTM C309-90 standards typically within the range of 200 to 285 ml/sqm, SG - 1.02 including all tools and tackles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- charge.

M&L for applying 3 coats of corrosion inhibiting, polymer matrix with excellent mechanical properties such as adhesion and elongation as waterproofing barrier coating. It should be non toxic and non-re-emulsifying. Should conform to JIS Z 1535 and IS-3085 and DIN-1048. having Hardness - Shore 'D' scale of 20,wet density of 1.66 g/cc, flexibility at low temperatures, tensile strength > 0.4 MPa, Elongation > 20%, adhesion to substrate greater than 1.5 N/mm², waterproofing to withstand 330 KPa positive pressure and 160 KPa negative pressure, Mixing should be done by electric rotary mixers. The substrate should be free of laitance, loose concrete, dust, oil etc. if applied on screed or any other cementitious surface the surface should be properly cured prior to application complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge

M&L for applying two coat of mixture of two monomer unsaturated liquid hydrocarbon , gaseous hydrocarbon and polymesrized them to get the high polymer dispersion emulsion successfully bonded to mortar, to improve adhesion to concrete, better durability, reduced shrinkage and increased flexibility and resistant to emulsification in damp condition modified Ensuring no porosity in new/old surface, temperatures between +5°C and +35°C, Resist to penetration of CO2 4.600 micron , compressive strength (11.5 N/mm2) at 3days strength - 11.5 (N/sqmm ) and at 28 days - 25.30N/sqmm as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Sprinkling sand particles of saturant making mechanical key, over which applying Single component, fiber reinforced cementitious repair mortar which is reinforced with specially designed bean shaped, alkali resistant synthetic fibers for exceptional resistance to cracking for a thickness of 10 mm. water ratio of which shall be 0.16, 28 days compressive strength shall be 30 MPa,mixed density shall be 2.18 kg/ltr, flexural strength shall be 6 MPa for 7 days and tensile strength for 7 days shall be more than 2MPa.Its adhesion bond strength shall be greater than 2 MPa with creep strain reduction of 8%.Single component, fiber reinforced cementitious repair mortar.cement and sand can be used for finishing purpose. The modulus of elasticity of this product shall be 23-26 KN/mm² complete all as specified and directed

Note for item No. 8 to 20 :- The work for items Srl No 8 to 20 shall be executed directly by manufacturer or through their authorized and qualified applicators of any following manufacturer only. M/s Fosroc chemicals, M/s Thermax Limited, M/s BOSTIK India Pvt limited, M/s Tiki Tar Danosa India Ltd.

The contractor shall submit performance guarantee certificate for structural repair/leakage/seepage for a period of 10 years from the certified date of completion.

The unit quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools and plants including scaffolding required for working upto 15 mtr height from natural ground level.

The defect liability period for the structural repair work shall be 05 (five) years from the certified date of completion of work.

A security deposit of value equal to 2.5% of the rate quoted against each item shall be retained from Final bill payment due to the contractor for the defect liability period.

The unit quoted rate is deemed to include taking up or down of water pipe, tanks, wires etc found on roof or other working areas and re-fix same at the original position after completion of work.

Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts, ropes, helmet, netting etc are required for safety of working labour at height exceeding 3 to 15 mtr shall be mandatory & deemed to be included in the unit quoted rate

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete walls including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for 15 mm thick plastering in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid seperately. (b) The unit rate quoted is deemed to include for removal of accumulated earth of any width and depth upto 15 cm cleaning/cutting the grass with hand operated petrol/kerosene driven grass cutting machine and removing the grass waste around 3 m from plinth protection to outside MD land.

Taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls / ceiling , or concrete walls/ceiling including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for 5mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:3) on brick work or concrete ceiling surfaces incuding finishing even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed. Make:-Dr. Fixit/ Pidi Proof and equivalent.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces wall / ceiling and applying three coats of white washing on ceiling/ walls surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L applying two coat of cement based paint over a coat of primer, including preparation of newly plastered wall surfaces of any description, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Repair to leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damaged portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed

M&L Repair to leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damaged soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damaged portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and finished the surfaces matching to existing wall to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 34 & 35 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as directed by the manufacturer's specification. Removing plant/Uprooting of vegetation growth including roots on wall/roof/parapet near pipes etc and applying acid treatment after removing roots for preventing regrowth and making good disturbed surfaces/area in superficial area exc 150sq.cm but n.exc 400 sq.cm and averaging depth not exceeding 10 cm by using PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) or 10mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:3 as required and finishing the surfaces to match with the existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old plastered surfaces of wall by using pressure washer, removal all dirt and dust and applying one coat of exterior emulsion (APEX) weather proof paint complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Preparation of old painted wooden surface of any description and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint over 10 cm width or girth, not other wise described complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Preparation of old decorated plastered or unplastered surface of wall, chajja, balcony, facia etc., brooming down or steel wire brushing down smoke soot, moulds mass, efflorescent, trading, oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down chowkhat or frame (wooden/steel) exceeding 1.50 Sqm and not exceeding 4.0 Sqm each with shutter (with out taking off shutters from the frame) all as specified and as directed.

Taking down shutters of any description exc 1.0 Sqm and n.exc 2.0 Sqm each complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Hacking out old broken glass (any thickness, size, quality or description) from wooden frames/steel frames glazed with putty or fixed with beads and material and labour for 4mm thick plain sheet glass ordinary quality and glazed with oil putty or fixed with fillets 2nd class hard wood of sectional area not exc 3 Sqcm and glass exc 0.5 sqm in each pane complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down and refixing MS window shutters n. exc 1.5 sqm through cutting of existing any type of hinges, handle and tower bolt and fixing new box type hinges, MS handle and MS tower bolt to the same window by necessary welding. The quoted rates shall be included the following aspect:- (a) Cutting of existing piano hinges, handle and tower bolt from window frame and shutter. (b) Fixing of removed shutter in the same frame on MS box type hinges 100mm, MS handle 100mm and MS tower bolt 100mm by welding. (c) Easing and adjusting the shutter before re-fixing if required. (d) Finishing the window frame and shutter with two coat of synthetic enamel paint. (e) Necessary scaffolding material to be included as the building height is more than 10mtr. Note : Box type hinges, handle and tower bolt shall be measured separately as supply only and labour element is deemed to be included in this item.

The quoted rate shall also deemed to be included the following :- (i) Prior to installation of maintenance free chemical earthing, soil resistivity test to be carried out at the location where earthing work to be done in presence of Engr-in- Charge/JE (E/M),user and the report has to submit to Garrison Engineer with recommendation of manufacturer, if required additional interconnection of earthing (not more than 08 number of earthing) to achive earth result less then 1 Ohms. The arrangement done for soil resistivity testing and submission of report with recommendation deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(ii) The description/ size/ qty of items mentioned in above are for indicating only however qty/ size may vary at site condition to maintain the earth resistance 1 ohm. The contractor shall quote rate by considering all factors.

(iii) Rate of earth energizer compound of 25 Kg of 02 bags and earth resistance reducing liquid 10 litre per cane for each pit deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iv) Resistivity of earth energizer compound and resistance reducing earthing liquid shall be certified by any NABL accredited lab carried out as per IEC-62561-7 read with ASTMG57-06, CI-3.4A and the certificate of same shall be submitted by the contractor along with the sample approval

(v) Earth enhancing material should not leach into the adjacent soil or underground water channels and its PH value should be in neutral range complete all as specified and as directed. It should solidify when mixed with water and set like concrete.

(vi) Copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm shall be fixed on proper post insulator at the instrument end (copper strip upto 7.5 RM shall be considered in unit quoted rate and extra will be measured and paid separately).

(vii) Testing of earth shall be carried out in presence of departmental and user representative and report shall be submitted to Garrison Engineer duly signed by all concerned.

(viii) Earth resistance tester will be provided by the contractor. Tester should be calibrated from authorised company/ lab.

(ix) Earthing shall be tested after completion of work by the contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge, user and proper record shall be maintained duly signed by all concerned. After testing if the desired earth resistance of less than 1 Ohm is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost to Govt. till desired result is obtained.

(x) The contractor shall give a written guarantee of minimum three years for maintaining the earth resistance less than 1 Ohm after certified date of completion.

(xi) No further maintenance or periodic watering or recharge shall be required in earthing during its guarantee period of over 03 years in all type of soil including soft/ disintegrated or hard rock.

(xii) During the guarantee period, if earth resistance is not maintained less than 1 ohm the contractor has to redo or rectify at no extra cost to Govt till desired result is maintained.

(xiii) A security deposit of value equal to 2.5 % of the rate quoted for chemical earthing for each earthing shall be retained from payment due to the contractor from final bill for the guarantee period.

(xiv) The electrode shall carry manufacturer's name .

(xv) The connection clamp shall be permanentlly welded to the copper bounded rod to avoid any kind of connectivity loss,.The pre-welded copper bounded rod shall not need any additional clamp for termination.

(xvi) The acceptable earth resistance at earth busbar/ test point shall not be more than 0.1 ohm.

(xvii) Earth work such as auguring and making good the surrounding area shall carried out in any type of soil.

(xviii) The contractor shall submit CPRI India certified document for copper bounded rod to ensure genuineness of material.

(xix) Sign board of mild steel sheet 2 mm thick duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide Zinc chrome primer showing result of earthing shall be fixed near the earth pit after completion as directed by engr -in- charge.
