Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out any type of soil for laying cables / pipes / erection of poles etc all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material(soil)not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in soil including spreading leveling watering well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each all as specified and as directed.

Laying in trenches fine sieved excavated dry soil including spreading/leveling, cushioning for underground cables all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying of common burnt clay building bricks, sub class B size for cable protection all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric cable with aluminum conductor, 1100 volts grade, 3.5/4 in replacement of the following sizes cross-sectionl area including taking down of old unserviceable cable/OH line ACSR conductor of any type complete all as specified and as directed:- 10 sq mm 2 core (Note: Earth work and connected items will be measured and paid separately under respective items of schedule)

Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 1.1 KV LT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Excavation,earth work,cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Material and labour for emergency maintenance work of LT cable line during breakdown by deploying skilled electricians at faulty site including transportation and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification.(c) Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within two hours of notification of breakdown. In case the contractor or his rep shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within two hours, a penalty of Rs 600 per fault per hour shall be imposed over contractor and shall be deduct from his dues.

Supply and Fixing of Straight through joints heat shrink type for underground cable suitable for LT XLPE/ PVC sheathed/ armoured heavy duty cables with aluminium conductor all as specified and as directed for 3.5/ 4 core, 16 sqmm to 50 sqmm

Boring under roads without disturbing the top surface of the road for passing through the cables with using of 75 mm dia HDPE pipe. (Note : 1.
