REPAIR AND RECTIFICATION OF DAY TO DAY COMPLAINTS OF EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM COMPRISING CI, DI, GI, PPR AND CPVC PIPELINE NETWORKS, SLUICE VALVES, NON-RETURN VALVES, AIR VALVES, VALVE PIT CHAMBERS, SUPPORTS ALONG WITH ALL CONNECTED

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m width and not exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/ dense soil for removing/ laying of pipe line complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Repair/ rectification of leakages to water supply distribution lines 15 mm bore to 25 mm bore GI/ PPR tubing with provision of necessary excavation, cutting of hard standing, returning and filling in as required, tightening of loose joints of union, elbow, sockets etc, threading if required including replacement of GI unions/ sockets/ nipples as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 4.00 above but for GI tubing 40 mm bore to 50 mm bore

All as per item No 4.00 here-in-before but for GI tubing 80 mm bore to 100 mm bore.

Attending routine complaints of external water supply including rectification of minor defects by taking down of existing GI/ PPR tubing up to 25 mm bore, cutting/ threading and making joints and cleaning for any blockages, opening of float valve of service tanks, cleaning and fixing the same in its position, replacement of jumper valve/ packing sheet of gate valve and including replacement of GI unions/ sockets/ nipples etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 7.00 above but for GI tubing 40 mm bore to 50 mm bore.

Attending complaints of BLOCKAGE OF WATER PIPE LINES / NO WATER SUPPLY AT ANY kind of ACCOMODATION (MARRIED / OTM/ single / multi story building), IDENTIFY THE FAULTS including rectification by taking down of existing GI/ PPR tubing up to 80 mm bore, cutting/ threading and making joints and cleaning for any blockages, opening of float valve of service tanks, cleaning and fixing the same in its position, replacement of valve/ packing sheet of gate valve and including replacement of GI unions/ sockets/ nipples etc as required at site TO RESTORE WATER SUPPLY complete all as specified and directed.

(d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare/ fittings utilized as per inventory format given by AGE E/M , Secunderabad and the same shall be submitted to E/M No II store yard on requirement basis. (g) The stationery required for the job work such as complaint slip books, gate pass book, job card and T&P shall be arranged and maintained by the contractor. (h) The cost of excavation / earth work shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate j) Contractor is responsible for repair/ replacement of any damages to the existing structures, Under Ground HT/ LT/ OFC Cables etc during the course of execution. (k) Spares/ GI fittings required to be replaced and shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.
