2nd CALL FOR REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS/ ROAD FURNITURE IN TECH AREA AT AF STATION SIRSA UNDER GE (AF) SIRSA

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bitumen primer using paving bitumen VG -10 at the rate of 5 Kgs per 10 square metre, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder using paving bitumen VG -10 @ 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item. (ii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be incusive of the cost of tack coat, bituminous macadam, binder coat and stone chippings.

Material and labour for preparing surfaces with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt, then applying a tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 @ 5 Kg per sqm and thereafter providing Premix bituminous macadam, with using paving bitumen VG-30 grade any penetration @ 4% (minimum) binder content by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) GE will inform Accepting Officer for convening a Board of Officers at least seven days prior to execution of this item. (ii) Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the cost of tack coat. (iii) No extra shall be admissible in case of excess binder content above 4% as specified in description of item.

Material and labour for Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and laying Semi dense bituminuous premix asphalt 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : No extra shall be admissible in case of excess binder content above 5.5% as specified in description of item.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 at the rate of 5 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for thermoplastic centre or edge line marking (reflective type) of 2.5mm thick and not exceeding 15 cm wide of uniform finish with machine conforming to required BIS 3262 (Part-I) 1989 read with MORTH specification of 806 clause 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 on bituminuous surface in white/ yellow/ red colour and super imposed with glass slam beats conforming to BIS 6088 and MORTH specifications clause 4.3.3 including cleaning of surface by removing all dust, dirt, oil grease etc on bituminous surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for speed bump 750 X 250mm size x 3" height made of sturdy plastic, pre coloured (Black/ yellow) and UV stabilizers studded with reflectors on either side and installing by cleaning the surface, grouting the holes and applying epoxy adhesive on the road surface and bumps, placing the bumps on the fixing area and hammer the 6 nails provided with the bumps including removal of existing damaged bumps of any description complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of spring post body made of special flexible material (polyurethene) having height 970mm, reflective tape in groovers fixed with epoxy or strong bonding adhesive material and screwwd to road without damaging the road complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repairs of convex mirror 600mm dia having clear and definitive image with 130 degree viewing angle, provided with and including 50x50x4mm mild steel pipe square tube post of length 1.75m with necessory bolts, nuts, base plate etc and welding as required for fixing including applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including exavating post holes complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement of cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B-1 complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing Retro-reflective regulatory sign board of size 900 mm dia meter made out of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity encapsulated lens type retro -reflective sheeting as approved by Engineer-in-charge . Letter, symbols, borders etc. will be as per IRC - 67 with required colour scheme on the boards and with the high intensity grade A. The aluminium sheet to be riveted to M.S. frame of angle iron of size 40x40x4 mm. The boards will be fixed to 1 No. 50x50 mm square post made of M.S. angle 50x50x4 mm, 4 m long welded to the frame with adequate anti-theft arrangement. Sheet work to be painted with two or more coats of synthetic enamel paint over an under coat (primer) and back side of aluminium sheet to be painted with two or more coats of epoxy paint including appropriate priming coat including taking down of old existing sign board complete in all respects as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of Cement concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 100mm thick, type D- 2, 1:4:8 (40mm stone graded aggregate) in sub floors, sub bases, pavings etc., complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of old unserviceable concrete paver blocks of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for sand filling under floors or in foundations including watering and consolidation complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness, M-40 Grade, with grey cement and no pigment complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing cement concrete, type B-1, 1:2:4 (using 20mm stone graded aggregate) rounded or chamfered on edges in plinth courses, copings and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, complete all as specified and as directed.
