Eligibility Criteria

Tenderers should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods to be purchased under this Invitation of Tenders.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The tenderer is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of e-Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Conditional tenders will not be accepted.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs.

The cost of the Tender Processing shall not be refundable.

BIDDERS SHOULD GO THROUGH THE TENDER DOCUMENT WHICH IS UPLOADED SEPARATELY BEFORE BIDDING.

The employer is not responsible for any delay in accessing E - Procurement Portal.

The EMD & Tender processing fee shall be paid through e-procurement portal only using any of the four modes. a.Credit Card, b. Direct debit using Internet banking c.NEFT(National electronic fund transfer d.OTC -Over the counter using bank challan.

Bank Guarantee will not be acceptable for EMD. EMD should be paid as specified in the e-procurement schedule.

The Tenderers need to register with e-procurement portal and to obtain user ID and Password for participating in e-procurement.

The authority reserves the rights to Reject or accept any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.

Bidders should upload the specification separately for which you are bidding.

The vender should upload the relevant product literature/brochure containing the details of the specification for the equipment/model quoted.

The quoted price should be inclusive of all types of taxes(GST, service tax, VAT, sales tax), customs duty, clearance charges, transportation, erection (commission), excise duty etc., & all incidental charges.

IMP: Detailed Specification is uploaded separately.

IMP-1: Tenderers must upload a checklist of all the documents uploaded by them, in the KPPP portal along with the technical bid.

IMP-2: Addition Eligibility criteria for bidders are uploaded with specification.

Bidders should abide by other terms & conditions as prescribed in KG-3 standard tender document of Government of Karnataka.

The University of Mysore does not bind itself to accept the lowest bidder and this university reserves the right to accept or reject any of the Tender or all the Tenderers without assigning the reasons.

IMP: FINANCIAL BID WILL BE OPENED AFTER COMPLETE EVALUATION OF THE TECHNICAL BID.

The EMD and Security Deposit are liable to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event of any evasion, refusal or delay on his/her part in signing the contract form.

The quoted price should be inclusive of all types of taxes (GST, service tax, VAT, sales tax), clearance charges, transportation, erection(commission), excise duty, custom duty etc., & all incidental charges F.O.R Mysore-570006, KARNATAKA STATE, INDIA

Tenderer must quote the final consolidated cost of the items inclusive of all taxes if any and also Installation charges.

Bidders should provide MAF (Manufactures Authorization Form).

All products should meet Industry standard specification.

Performance Security:27.1 Within 21 days of the receipt of notification of award from the Purchaser, the successful Tenderer shall furnish the performance security in accordance with the Conditions of Contract, in the Performance Security Form provided in the tender documents or in another form acceptable to the Purchaser.

Subject to GCC Clause 24, if the Supplier fails to deliver any or all of the Goods or to perform the Services within the periods specified in the Contract, the Purchaser shall, without prejudice to its other remedies under the Contract, deduct from the Contract Price, as liquidated damages, a sum equivalent to 0.5% of the delivered price of the delayed Goods or unperformed Services for each week or part thereof of delay until actual delivery or performance, up to a maximum deduction of 10% of the Contract Price.. Once the maximum is reached, the Purchaser may consider termination of the Contract pursuant to GCC Clause 23.

Warranty: 14.1 The Supplier warrants that the Goods supplied under this Contract are new, unused, of the most recent or current models and that they incorporate all recent improvements in design and materials unless provided otherwise in the Contract.The Supplier further warrants that all Goods supplied under this Contract shall have no defect arising from design, materials or workmanship (except when the design and/or material is required by the Purchasers Specifications) or from any act or omission of the Supplier, that may develop under normal use of the supplied Goods in the conditions prevailing in the country of final destination.

Self declaration stating the firm is not blacklisted with any Government/Quasi Government Organizations and will not supply Refurbished equipments on Notarized Rs.100/- Non Judicial e-stamp paper.

The equipment offered for supply must be of the most recent series models incorporating the latest improvements in design.

B-Tenders of tenderers quoting as authorized representative of a manufacturer, meeting with the above requirement in full, can also be considered provided a) the manufacturer furnishes authorization in the prescribed format assuring full guarantee and warranty obligations as per GCC and SCC
