Excavation in trenches, in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation, etc or not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for shafts, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc and getting out in any type of soil concrete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 1.00 above but for each additional 1.5 m or part thereof in depth beyond the first 1.50m

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each concrete all as specified and directed.

Repair/Renewal/maintenance of junction box/control box of street light by disconnecting all connection and reconnect the same after dusting, proper insulation by LT tape, replaecmrnt of Lugs, nut, bolt ,wisher if required , Replacement of MCB 06 Amp if required and ensure the junction box must be closed all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Repair/Renewal/maintenance of street light feeder over head conductors after arranging elect shut down of street light feeders from sub station to remove oxidise part at the point of connection to street light from LT over head line ane reconnect the same to LT over heal line after removing the oxidise part all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge . Note:- (i) The electrician employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safty devices.

Checking of street light feeder over head conductors /under ground cables using elect tools, equipments and safty devices after arranging elect shut down of street light feeders from sub station to remove elect faults like tightning of loose jumpers, trimming of tree branches on a particular span, re-tightning of binding wires on insulators, re-tightning of cable lugs etc all as required at site and as directed. Note:- (i) The electrician employed for the purpose will be highly skilled along with one mate and should have all necessary tools and safty devices. (ii) Materials used for rectification of faults like ACSR conductor, insulator of any type, cables etc and excavation & earth work will be measured and paid seperately.

Repair/maintenance of street/security lights any type, flood lights , post top lanterns or any other external lights in its position fixed pole/building structure or by taking down to ground, if required testing all the components/parts, wiring etc, identifying and replacing the defective components like chke (ballast), electronic driver (in case of LED Lights), ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wires/ cable, MCB etc including refixing the fitting to its original position (if taken down), including repair/maint of street light control timer & junction box all as directed by Engr-in-charge for the complete contract period from the date of commencement of work.

Note:- (i) The rate against above mentioned item is deemed for cost of labour and allied expenses only. (ii) Cost of spares, choke (ballast), electronic driver, Ignitor, capacitor, lamp, lamp holder, connector, connection wire, MCB, timer spares etc) replaced against above mentioned item will be measured & paid for sepasrately under respective items of Sch 'A' here -in- below. (iii) The contractors representative will report to concerned JE E/M at 0900 hrs daily to collect the list of defective street lights at varrious area of Inf. School Mhow and will submit the completion report on the same day before 1730hrs to JE E/M. (iv) The contractor has to rectify the defects/ repair and make the street light functional within 24 hours form the time the list of deefective street lights is handed over to him/his rep by the concerned JE E/M. In case the street light is not made funtional for any reason within the specified time limit, an amount of Rs. 150/- per defective street light per day will be recovered from the amount due to contractor through RAR/Final Bill. (v) Contractor shall provide requisite and sufficient Nos. of transport and vehicle with fuel mounted hydraulic ladder at his own cost. (vi) The contracor shall maintain proper record of repair/maint in Register duly bringing out the details of spares replaced on each and every street light and get it authenticated from concerned JE E/M on daily basis. The contractor shall put up the maint record register to Engineer-in-Charge for inspection at every monday or as and when askded for.

(vii) The contractor shall be fully responsible for the safety of his men engaged for executing this work and he will provide all requisite safety equipment and tools. department shall not be repsonsible for any kind of safety incident/injury to the emplyoed manpower. (viii) The contractor shall maintain sufficient stock of spares/material required for repair/maint of street lights with the concerned JE E/M against the supply only items here-in-below, required screws, insulating tapes, submain wire, gaskets and other minor items including the required spares parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged and supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contrator under this item.

All as per item No 20.00 but for light fittings High Mast Poles of 11.00 to 13.00 m height.

Taking down high mast fitting from high mast structure through motorised system of 16/20mtr high and cheking all fittings including cleaning & lubricating of steel rope and repair the light fittings to make functional by replacing Flood light. Note:- Light and connecting cable will be measured and paid for seperately under respective itemsof sch 'A'.

Supply only in replacement single core pvc insulated and sheathed cable with multistranded aluminium condutor of size 2.5 sqmm x two core and drawing in to existing GI pipe bracket and connect to street light fittings complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In- Charge .

S&F in replacement street light bracket made out of 40mm dia medium grade GI pipe of 1.2m length bent to required shape suitable for fixing street light / security light fitting on Steel tubular pole / RCC pole / building wall including two Nos clamps made out 30mm X 5mm flat with suitable nuts and bolts (clamp type - as per site requirement ) including two coats of aluminium paint over a coating of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In- Charge .

Re-stretching tightening and fixing in position, the existing OH ACSR conductor LT line 3 phase with neutral and earth wire 440 V, 5/6 wire by loosing and taking down existing binding wire from the insulator of any size of ACSR conductor and bring it to required sag including provn of new binding wire and teghtening of cross arm on each pole and required trimming of tree branches. Note :- Unit rate are quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included for cutting and trimming branches of the trees coming in contact with ACSR conductor and separators as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Trimming/pruning of tree branches touching to the LT over head line or near to the LT over head line as per direction of AGE E/M /JE in charge complete including removing the tree branches from site complete all as specified and directed. NOTE - (a) Shut down shall be taken from Incharge JE / AGE E/M before taking the trimming work in hand by contractor (b) span from one pole to next pole (30 to 50 m) will be considered as a job. (c) T & P such as lader , rope, cutter , axes and other related material will be provided by the contractor.

M&L for Painting to street light pole of steel tubular swaged/ swan neck type with two coat of aluminium paint after cleaning to rusted portion of pole and finishing the surfaces including one coat primer top to bottom, painting on cross arms/FI clamps/street liht brackets of any type including making alternative blak and yellow strip with synthethic enemelled paint up to 1.5 Mtr height from ground level & writing of pole numbers with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting of LT PCC poles 9.00m with acrylic paint after apply two coat of cement base primer and making the surface smooth including painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with two coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative strip of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 m height, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, laid in trenches, sleeving through pipes or fixed on poles & walls or laid under floors including jointing with crimping of suitable size aluminium lugs complete of size 10 Sqmm nominal cross section x 2 core and testing complete all as specified & directed.
