SCHEDULE A BOQ

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep in hard/dense soil and getting out for taking down/laying of pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, refilling including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cms thick in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated materials not exceeding 50m distance and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Riddling Sand obtained from excavation for cable protection 8cm under the cable and 15cm above the cable in trench and get the thick layer of 18cm after ramming complete all as specified and directed. Note :- In case sufficient sand not obtained from excavation, the quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive for the required additional qty obtain from out side MD land as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L Fly ash bricks using modular bricks as in cable protection cover including taking down existing bricks of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and lay XLPE insulated,screened ,PVC Bedded, galvanised steel strip of wire armoured, electric power cable heavy duty with aluminium condutor, multi strand, 1100Volts grade cross sectional area 6 Sqmm 2 core laid in trenches /ducts/fixed to wall/pole/ inside panel/ drawn through pipe including cable glands and terminal sockets etc including taking down existing cable all as specified and directed.

M&L for finding the faults and repair, maintenance and making the continuity of supply by rectifying the defects including taking down defective electrical items such as light point, fan/exhaust fan point, call bell point, socket point 5A/15A, switches, sockets, regulator, lamp holder, brackets, bell, buzzer, push button, ceiling rose, pendent, any type of MCB's, SPN DB's any type of internal light fixtures, any type of lamp, ceiling fan, exhuast fan, geyser, capacitor, replacement of fuse wires and all elcectrical accessories in day to day/door to door maintenance including reconnection with S&F small pieces of elctrical cable of size upto 10 sqmm single core and length not exceeding 0.50m complete all as specified and as directed.

Note:- following shall be part of job under item No 8:-

(a) The above job shall be carried out by a trained electrician having ITI in electrical, documentary proof of the education of tradesman shall be produced before commencement of work.

(b) All bldg light complaints including service connection, submain & internal electric for entire Tech area of AF Stn sulur shall be attended.

(c) Record of complaints/complaint slip showing qtr No, bldgs No, nature of job supported with users signature shall be prepared as per format directed by Engr-in-charge & will be deposited to concerned JE E/M within 24 hrs after completion of rectification.

(d) Necessary complaints slip/complaints register & other stationary required shall be contractor responsibility.

(e) All sort of petty T&P items such as PVC insulation table, ladder, galvanised screws, nuts, bolts, washers etc. required to accomplish the job shall be provided by the contractor with out any extra cost to dept.

(f) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive for finding the defects including taking down defective electrical items. Replacement of new items will be measured and paid separately.

(g) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.

(h) In case of any delay in attending the complaint more than 12 hrs after handing over routine/urgent complaints, the contractor shall be liable to pay the penalty as described in penalty clause given here as under.

(j) The penalty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delay is noticed by the Engr-in-Cahrge more than twelve hrs after handing over works of urgent/ routine nature to the contractor. The Engr-in-Charge shall handover the slip containing specification of work to the contractor by lodging the time and signature of contractor be obtained on slip. The contractor shall attend the complaint immediately and shall report to Engr-in-Charge with in 12 hrs. The contractor will keep his tradesmen in stand by for attending any routine / urgent works from the executive. If the nature of job is such that the work cannot be completed within period of 12hrs then the facts shall be brought to the notice of the GE/Engr-in-Charge and the period for the working to the complaint shall be decided by the GE/EIC. If the delay is more then twelve hrs period and the GE is not satisfied with the reason for delay then penalty at the rate of Rs 50/- per job shall be deducted from the dues of the contractor. Please note that this penalty is exclusively other then the condition 56 of IAFW - 2249 and shall be treated as interim condition of the contract and shall be enforce above as and when delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatsoever on this account shall be entertained by the Deptt.

(k) The decision of the Accepting Officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

(h) In case of major defects, entire job shall be completed within 10 days from the date of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @100/- per day shall be recovered.

(j) In case of minor defects, entire job shall be completed within12 hrs from the time of registration of complaint, failing which penalty charges @ 50/- per job shall be recovered.

(k) The contractor shall maintain a record of all urgent/ routine works and if the work is repeated due to poor workmanship, he will be liable to repair the same without any extra expenditure to the Govt.
