Description of items and specification of work to be excuted.
Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m.
Demolishing stone rubble masonry of older boundary wall manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and in- equalities not exceeding 15 cm deep and disposal of rubbish, lead up to 50 m and lift up to 1.5 m.
Banking excavated earth by mechanical / manual means in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, breaking clods, watering, rolling each layer with ½ tonne roller, or wooden or steel rammers, and rolling every 3rd and top-most layer with power roller of minimum 8 tonnes and dressing up, in embankments for roads, flood banks, marginal banks, and guide banks etc., lead upto 50 m and for all lift in all kinds of soil as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface by ramming etc complete as per direction given by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.
Providing and fixing M.S. Hollow post for shed roofing structure with size, MS Post size 100x100x4mm, MS Rafter size 49.5x49.5x3mm, MS Purlins size 49.5x49.5x3mm, MS Angle Girt & vertical member size 50x50x3mm, MS Plate 50x3mm, MS Ventilator Frame Size 1.00 x 0.30m and MS wire mesh with thickness of wire not less than 2.50mm as per the directions given by Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying Cement plaster 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) finished with a floating coat of neat cement. Thickness of plaster to be more than 12m etc complete as per the directions provided by engineer-in-charge.
Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade on New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer
Flush/Ruled pointing on R.R.Masonry and stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) including racking, cleaning and washing out joints with mixing hardener and colour pigment for matching the original etc complete.
Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (terracotta colour metal corrugated roofing sheet 0.50mm thick 150GSM paint (JSW ColourOn Plus)) (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required.
