Replacement of existing steel girder of Br no 62 (3X12.2m, welded plate girder) of up-1/HBC & DN-1/HBC by PSC Slab in between station MDSE-CDAE in HBC of Howrah Division.

Unloading of new girder/released girder/components form Railway BFR/Trailor by manual method by the side of railway on the temporary staging. The rate shall include the cost of making of temporary staging, lowering the girder from the staging, with all tools & plants for 01 unloading the girder on level base. NOTE a) CC Cribs and wooden sleepers as per requirment will be supplied by the Railway free of cost at the Railway store or bridge site where the stock is availableand the agency will be return back the materials to the stock holder after purpose of the work is over. b) The rate will include the cost of transportation of all materials including Railway materials with all leading, loading and unloadiing to complete the work in all respect.

loading of newly assambled girder components on Railway BFR/Trailor by manual method as per direction of site in-charge. The rate shall include the cost of making of temporary staging, with tools and plant tackles consumables labours transportation etc with all lead in all 02 respect. Note A) BFR is to be placed at BRI siding by the railway free of cost. B) CC Cribs and wooden sleepers as per requirment will be supplied by the Railway free of cost to agency and the material shall be return back to the stock holder after complition of the work. C) The Rate includes cost of all tools and tackles required for the work. D) The work shall be carried out as per instruction of site in- Charge.

Erection and placing of PSC/RCC slab on bridge abutment including dismantling of existing girder with road crane of revolving type of capacity 40 MT Or by manual levelling the bed 03 with supplying and laying of materials like epoxy based materials/M-35 cement concrete with 10 mm down stonechips with suitable admixture for quick setting duly passed by Assistant Engineer. The rate will include the safe stacking of released girders at the nearest LC gate with cost of transportation, lead, lift, etc. The work consist of following operation. (a) Construction of temporary road from existing road to bridge location by cutting of earth heaps, dressing level, compacting, etc for movement of crane to and from works complete in all respect. (b) Cutting holding down bolts by gas cutters for releasing base plates under the girder.(c) Taking out girder by lifting with road crane safely from the bridge and placing the same at suitable location away from bridge as per instruction of site incharge. (d) Lifting the RCC slab from site with road crane manually and placing over bridgesafely with proper alignment ,level, and bearing as per instruction of site engineer.e) Arrangement of lighting with supply of generator set anmd 4nos halogen for provision of sufficient lighting from 20.00 hrs till sun rise(f) slabs will be lying at nearest level crossing ,Cost includes trollying the same with railways dip lorry to site with all arrangement of tools and plants etc .All operation will be done uner traffic and power block at night with sufficient ,man power and machine so that block period is not burst. NoTE:_ All loose fittings are to be stacked at the various stores as directed by the site incharge.

Supply of stone ballast 50mm size of approved quality duly stacked as directed and specify by sectionalAEN near the bridge site with all lead, lift, transportation , levelling of ground for stacking as directed by sectional AEN.

Spreading of stone ballast supplied in above item from stack duly passed by sectional AEN with all lead , lift , as per requirement as directed by site in charge by railway

RCC M35 grade as per Railway approved drawing and specification for construction of Bridge/Sub structure/super structure /RCC jacketing of arch ,pier abutment etc.The Rates includes design of concrete mix manufacture of concrete by batching plant ,cost of form work includws erection and de-shuttering, placement of concrete using concrete pump/placing boom ,comption steel reinforcement cutting , bending and binding of Rein forcement with binding wires and placing in proper position , curing of concrete upto specied period complete in all respect including all lead, lift, crossing road/track etc.The rate also includes cost of all ingredients of RCC in cement ,Sand aggregate admixture,Labour tools and Plants etc.But excluding the cost of reinforcement.The 06 contractor has to construct the approach road to the site at his own cost ,if required, no extra payment will be made for this. Trollying of PSC sleeper with all labours, lead ,lift, tools and plant as directed by site 09 in charge of railway. Pre-Cast bed block of M-35 grade Concrete as per approved drawing to be casted and placed in position over pier / Abutment in true line and level .The rate includes contractors labour, material, tools & Plants etc & other consumable required to carry out the work in all respect.

Assistantance to Railway crane working during day/night for removing of existing girder for placement of bridge ,slab,over pier /abutment in traffic block by employing atleast 16 labours for 8hours shift.Labour should be present at the site till completion of the traffic block.

Welding of rail joint in situ on running lines under traffic block in day/night time including supply of required petrol and other consumable labours to make proper alignment of rail and levelling the same for Thermit welding of joints of all rails of any length of any type. PF sleeper and finishing the welded joint on top and gauge face as per instruction laid down in IRPWM and welding manual under direction and with entire specifications of the site In-Charge.

: Transporting of C.C.Crib/ Slab or any other heavy materials including loading and unloading of the materials with contractor's men, tools and plants etc from SSE/BR/HWH,s store or any other railway workshop to worksite or back.

Assembling/erection/ placing of C.C Cribs staging. (CC. Crib will be supplied by Railway free of Cost at Railway store)

Trollying rail by rail dolly upto 1 km or part thereof including crossing of lines, platform ,ascend, descend, keeping without infrengement as per instruction of site incharge.(UNIT AGAINST THIS ITEM WILL BE TAKEN IN TO ACCOUNT AS PER BEARING) Track

Dismantling of track structure from the old girder, stacking them properly and depositing the same to nearest P.Way store as directed by the site in charge. Track

Lifting of Track upto 150mm Per

Three round consolidation packing with cotractors men, tools, plants etc. complete in all respect as per instruction of site incharge. Note- Qty Unit, Per Sleeper means "Per Sleeper Per packing".

Changing rail at 13 m length or less in running track as per direction of site in charge. The payment shall be considerd as one side of track only.

Hiring charge of 5 KV generator set including fuels, lubricating oils,operation and maintenance with lighting arrangement with 6 nos 500 watt halogen 2 nos point fixing complete in all respect.

Filling of ballast/sand/stone dust eyc into empty cement bag and placing/spreading the same at any location under the bridge as per instruction of Engineer in charge.

Supplying and application of levelling coarse with epoxy morter of Dr fixit pedigrount EG-3 of M/s Pidilite Industry Ltd/ Sikadur 53 or similar of minimum thinckness 25 mm to provide even bed for fixing bed plate.

Cutting and dismantling of first class brick work in the bridge piers abutments and wing wall ,arches ,during preblock and block period . The brick work to be chisled up horizontally or 26 chiselling up from top as ditrected by the railway site incharge. During the cutting of brick work all necessary precaution to be taken for safe running of the railway traffic and maintaining safety of the sound part of the structure .all labours , materials ,tools and plants required for the work to be supplied by the contractor including all lead ,lift and crossing the track . Disposal of the gurbageb at scheduled location etc as directed by the site in charge of the railway.

Earthwork in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic Excavator)/Manual Means for foundations and floors of the bridges, retaining walls etc. including setting out, dressing of sides, ramming of bottom, getting out the excavated material, back filling in layers with approved material 01 and consolidation of the layers by ramming and watering etc. including all lift, disposal of surplus soil up to a lead of 300m, all types of shoring and strutting with all labour and material complete as per drawing and technical specification as directed by Engineer in charge. Providing and constructing Temporary Earthen Island / coffer dam for construction of 03 well foundations of dia. up to 10m (longest dimension) , including bailing and pumping out of water, provision of sand bags, wooden ballies, sheet piling, earth, sand or any other suitable material, as required with all labour and material complete job. Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for : All types of bridge super-structures, e.g. slabs, I-girders, T-girders, Box girders etc. up to 5m above ground level.

Supply and using Cement at Worksite Ordinary Portland Cement 53 grade of approved brands/makes

Supply of steel reinforcement of approved brands/makes for R.C.C. work including straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete. Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more of approved brands/makes.

Providing weep holes by making suitable opening or drilling in existing Brick Masonry / Plain / Reinforced Concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 110 mm dia UPVC pipe (working pressure 4kg/sqcm) extending through the full width of the structure complete and repairing the same with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand). Rate is excluding the cost of cement which shall be paid extra.

Supplying, Fabricating and fixing access ladders, inspection platforms, Trolley 14 refuges etc., on bridges with structural steel conforming to IS:2062 including welding / bolting, priming painting with one coat of ready mixed paint of Zinc Chromate (IS:104) with DFT of 25-30 microns followed by one coat of Zinc Chrome Red Oxide (IS:2074) with DFT of 25 microns with all material, labour, T&P as a complete job. Note: Painting shall be paid separately under relevant item.

Metallizing of steel work of girders with sprayed aluminium after surface preparation by Sand/grit blasting, followed by one coat of etch primer (IS:5666) & one coat of Zinc Chrome 15 primer (IS:104) and two coats of aluminium paint (IS:2339) with all labour, T&P and material as a complete job duly conforming to all relevant specifications and process given under Clause 39 of IRS- B1-2001. Note: Nominal Thickness of sprayed Aluminium coating shall be 150 microns. DFT of Zinc chrome primer shall be 25-30 microns and DFT of each coat of Aluminium paint shall be 12-14 microns.
