Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 meters wide and not exc. 1.5 meters deep for laying PVC under ground cable and CI/GI pipe line any type of soil, getting out and leveling of bottom surface to required level all as specified and directed by Engr –in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick all as specified and directed by Eng. In Charge

Removal of excavated material from site to a distance not exceeding 50 meters away and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Drilling not less than 300 mm bore hole by DTH (Down the hole) method to any depth below the ground level in any kind of rock/soil upto 100 mtr deep including disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr away all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1) In case of encountering rock prior to 30 mtr depth from ground level, the decision of the Garrison Engineer for reboring shall be final and binding. Specific order in writing shall be issued by Garrison Engineer for reboring and the quantities shall vary accordingly. 2) Cost of transportation of DTH plant is deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Supplying, lowering & fixing 200 mm nominal bore MS casing pipe, heavy duty as per IS-3589, minimum 6.0 mm thick ERW having duly welded both sides socketed ends all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, lowering & fixing into bore hole 200 mm nominal bore MS casing pipe, heavy duty as per IS -3589 minimum 6.00 mm thick ERW slotted tube having 1000 slots of size 1.58 x 75 mm per mtr length uniformly distributed on surface, duly welded both side socketed ends all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing well cap suitable for 200 mm bore well consisting of two parts complete with welding and machinery work having provision of cut out for passing of column pipe and fabricated from MS sheet 2.00 mm thick all as specified & directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing housing clamp for 200 mm bore pipe made out of flat MS 150x12 mm thick (length 80 cm) with 4 Nos 20 mm dia of suitable size of bolt, nuts, washers etc including drilling holes of suitable sizes and painting 2 coats of synthetic enamel paints over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply & fixing housing clamp for 50 mm bore pipe made out of flat MS 100x10 mm thick (length 60 cm) with 4 Nos 20 mm dia of suitable size of bolt, nuts, washers etc including drilling holes of suitable sizes and painting 2 coats of synthetic enamel paints over a coat of red oxide primer all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Development of borewell/tube well with air compressor of rating 630 CFM at 100 PSI as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note: Rate quoted are deemed to inclusive of necessary transportation of compressor & DTH/Rotary ring etc incl other T&P required.

Supplying and packing pea gravel of size 3.00 mm to 6.00 mm around casing pipe all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for yield testing of tube well by continous run with suitable equipment all as per IS-2800 part-II of 1979 including complete testing of water suitable for drinking purpose as per IS-10500 of 1991 from DRL (Defence Research Lab) testing Laboratory approved by GE and report shall be submitted to GE. The well shall be tested 24 hours continuous after development of the well to ascertain the yield. The air compressure/higher capacity pump required for the development of the well by means of over pumping shall be arranged by the contractor at his own arrangement without claiming any extra payment from the Deptt.

Material and labour for test of pilot bore with electro logging through computerized composite litho log machine at site by ground water consultant and qualified Engineer and submitting complete result pertaining to water strata and recommendation to provision/strata assembly by providing slotted pipe all as required complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge

Supply, lowering and fixing MS Column pipe heavy duty (Class C ) flanged and drilled ISI marked 50 mm bore as per IS-1239, 3.0 mtr in long flange having 8 mm min. thick, slot cutting in flange for passing of submersible cable incl all jointing material such as bolts, nuts,washers, & packing sheets and connecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement, installation, testing and commissioning of feeder pillar box ,outdoor type cubical shape,three phase, 4 wire, Al bus bar for phases and neutral made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick ,factory fabricated , CPRI approved , powder coated ,dust and vermin proof , provn for ventilation , angle iron frame and four legs of 50x50x6mm thick angle iron ,2 ft long grouted on PCC foundation of height not less than 30 cm from the ground level , grouting properly and of suitable size to accommodate the items mentioned below and having separate compartment /chambers for cable gallery busbar ,switch gear etc all as specified and comprising of following including necessary cable connections to the MCCBs, voltmeter, Ammeter and cable lugs etc .

Supply and fixing in replacement, connecting, testing and commissioning cable with copper conductor 3 core 1100 volts grade 4.0 Sqmm nominal cross sectional area stranded conforming to relevant IS complete as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, lowering and fixing XLPE insulated multistranded Aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 25 Sqmm, 3.5 core as in trenches or through floors, fixed on panels/walls with fixing arrangements compete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for well burnt Sub class 'B' bricks for UG cable protection laid in across the cable above the sand cushioning complete all as directed and specified.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with clean & sharp dry sand unwashed including gently punning around cables complete all as specified

Material and labour for Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60cm x 6.0mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.6 mtr below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick and packed layer of charcoal dust and common salt fitting in alternate layers and earth lead connection by using GI strip 25 x 4 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers of galvanised iron and protected by light grade 40 mm dia GI pipe connected to main switch board of main control board and GI pipe light grade 20 mm dia for watering and including funnel, wire mesh, PCC pit cover and PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:2:4 type C2 including excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr all as specified and shown in electrical plate No.3 of SSR 2009 Part 1

Supply, Installation, lowering, testing and commissioning submersible pumping set having discharge capacity 180 LPM at 110 mtr head complete with submersible motor of suitable 7.5 HP, 3 Phase 415 volt and connecting to column pipe by means of nipple/ reducer complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, fixing, including jointing and testing of 100mm Cast iron Non Return valve without by pass arrangement , Swing type, confirming to IS 5312, flanged ends pressure rating PN 1.6 connection complete as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing 100mm cast iron Sluice Valve, ISI Marked, flanged ends drilled pressure rating PN-1.6, Confirming to IS 14846 -2000, having stainless steel spindle with cast iron operation wheel at top connection complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying , laying , jointing, welding and testing MS Pipe (Heavy class 'C') IS : 1239, of 100mm sizes laid in trenches or in Horizontal/Vertical/inclined position or laying for connections for connected to out going water main DI/GI pipe line, incl fabrication work complete all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for DI flange fittings of A/F Tee, D/F Bend and DI flange Socket Piece of size 100mm dia bore Equal including required cutting existing pipe connection complete all as specified.

Supply and fixing of MS flange 100 mm bore ,16mm thick duly welded with flange joint including nuts bolts ,washer ,Rubber or fiber board gasket joint of size 80mm size

Material and labour for Brick work with sub class 'B' bricks straight or curved on plan exc. 6M mean radius built in CM (1:4) for pillar in Borewell all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation, flooring sub base complete for bore well plinth all as specified and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply, laying jointing,testing 100mm DI pipe with class-K-7 spigot socketed ends , conforming to IS-8329 laid in trenches connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note : Tyton Joint, Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately.)

Material and labour for 100mm Rubber Gasket Joint (Tyton Joint) including jointing material for DI pipe connection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
