SCHEDULE 'A' PART- I (MATERIAL & LABOUR )

Opening / Disconnecting the electrical connection of defective / burnt out underground LT UG cable of any size & any core from main switch / DB / junction box / LT panel / L T O/H line etc. Taking out the length of cable to be required from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable, providing to be required thimbles / connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch / DB / Junction box / LT panel / OH line etc. all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) The cost of excavation & earth work,returning filling, in relaying of sand / bricks and cost of drawing to be required length from protection pipe, breaking of brick work / concrete / plaster to be required and redoing to be required for work to match the existing surface shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra should be paid on this account.(ii) Additional cable/ protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly. Note:- During currency period of contract, contractor shall depute the sufficient manpower for attending daily complaints. 1. Minor consumable material required to complete the Job as (like tape, thimbles, Nuts bolts, electrical gloves, M seal etc ) are included in the quoted rates. 2. mobile no of supervisor to be distributed. 3. 24 hrs availability of supervisor and his electricians at Sub Stn, complaint book to be maintained. 4. Complaint will be done within 48 hrs of receiving complaints while in mobile tele communications or any written/verbal/any cummunication medium. 5 Any delay by the contractor to resolve the complaint above the said period, a penalty of Rs 100/day will be fined.

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for pipe line, cable trenches or for manholes etc not exceeding 10 sqm area on plan and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified.

Excavating in trencehes, n exc 1.5 m wide and exc m in depth but not exe 3 m in depth for foundation, etc or for laying of cables/poles, etc n exc 10 Sq m on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified.

Removing of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Material and Labour sand cushioning, with dry and clean fine river sand for underground cable 8 cm before laying cable and 15 cm after laying and punned to 18 cm after laying of cable complete all as specified. (Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, Class LV, Type 1, Flat size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm complete all as specified. Make :- Topaz / Mehtab Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

M&L Scotch 3M super 33+ vinyl electrical tape black (3/4 Inch x 66 feet) for repair of LT Cables/panels etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Cutting / trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 metre distance on each side and 3.00mtr distance on both sides of LT over head lines including collection and removal from road complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :-For measurement and payment purpose each span shall be considered as length between pole to pole.

M&L for Cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundation and mass concrete for fixing poles etc including excavation of any strata & relaxing taken out cable complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Demolation of old damaged PCC are included in quoted rates.

M&L PCC (1:2:4) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) in coping / plinth blocks for poles and the like including weathering , slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, as directed including necessary Steel form work and finishing the surfaces fair in forms complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Demolation of old damaged PCC are included in quoted rates.

Supply and fixing in replacement for Pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white,brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 100mm height, 65mm dia for 1100 volts grade complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M & L in replacement of old unserviceable earthing complete with galvanised steel pipe electrode, 40mm bore, medium grade, 2.5 metres length, buried directly and preferably vertically in ground with top edge not less than 1.25 metres below ground level connected with earthing lead of 4mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire all as shown in Plate No. 2 to the earthing test point all as specified and indicated including testing on completion incl earth work and excavation in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, pre cost slab 40mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 with 8 mm dia MS bars reinforced at 10 cm centre to centre both ways incl funnel with watering pipe wire mesh and lugs, incl test point complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Supply and fixing in replacement for shackle type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator of size 75mm height, 90mm dia for working pressure 1100 volts including galvanized mild steel strips 31mm x 3 mm, washer, insulator bolts and nuts, dia of bolt 12mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.Note:- The rate of galvanized mild steel strips 31mm x 3 mm, washer, insulator bolts and nuts, dia of bolt 12mm is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Supply and erecting pre-stressed concrete poles 9 mtr long of cross section (102mmx172mm) at top and (102mmx279mm) at bottom, class-10 complying with requirements of IS-1678-1978, zebra painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint and making alternative black and white strips 30 cm each up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block, numbering of poles including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:4:8) in foundation , PCC (1:3:6) in coping , and dismantling the old pole and removal all the debris complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:The T&P vehicles will be arranged by the contractor for transporting the pole from AGE (E/M) Elect store yard to site of work and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any financial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Material and Labour in replacement Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed Note : The rate of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint is included in this item.The payment shall be made as per actual weight of material. During weighting the weight of paint and primer shall not be considered for payment purpose.nothing shall be extra paid on this account. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Material and Labour for in replacement of stay assembly comprising of GI stay bow 16 mm dia, 40 cm long complete with accessories as shown in Electrical plate No 1 of SSR Part - I using galvanised stay rod 20 mm dia, 215 cm long with threaded ends GI nuts, bolts, washers, stay plate 30 cm x 30 cm x 6 mm thick ,2 Nosf thimbles, MS clamps made out of 50mm x 6 mm flat iron, loop stay insulator, stay wire 7/8 SWG complete including painting all exposed surfaces of MS work including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chromate primer complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Loop type insulators, Earth work and concrete work shall be measured and paid for separately under the respective item of schedule. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Supply , fixing and stretching in replacement ACSR of any size as per site requirement on existing HT/LT poles including binding on existing insulator with aluminium binding wire 2mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- 1. For measurement and payment purpose only the weight of ACSR shall be considered .The weight of aluminium binding wire 2.00mm shall not be considered.2. The rate of aluminium binding wire 2.00mm is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Supply , fixing and Stretching in replacement 4mm dia GI earth wire / guard cradles on existing HT / LT poles binding with and including GI binding wire 1.63 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- 1. For measurement and payment purpose only the weight of 4mm dia GI earth wire / guard cradles shall be considered .The weight of GI binding wire 1.63 mm shall not be considered.2. The rate of GI binding wire 1.63 mm is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Taking out of Air circuit breaker 4 Pole 630 Amps to 1600 Amps, 415 Volt of breaking capacity not less than 50 KA to 65 KA with electronic/thermal/micro processor based release ,Manual drawout/Mechinical drawnout/ fixed , Any-Type/Make, , cleaning, servives & maint of any type ACB including replacement of worn out patrs and making fully smooth functioning upto to desire level , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- All the required spare parts will be included rates qouted by the contactor.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of LT PCC Pole / street light Pole/Steel tubular poles complee with cross Arms and base up to 1.50 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block, making alternative black and white strips VE waterproof high density reflective self adhesive strips on pole ( each strip 30cm hight ) and writing pole nos. including applying one coat of cement base paint on exposed surface of PCC coping and foundation blocks complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in repair PVC separator suitable for 3/4 way conductor complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE. All as per Item above but for GI pipe of 40 mm bore light grade.

Material & labour for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required by using 25mm x 4mm GI strip complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Material and Labour for in replacement Danger notice plate 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for LT, 20cm x 15cm size complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

SCHEDULE 'A' PART- II (FIXING ONLY )

Labour only in replacement MCB suitable for 415 volts AC supply, 63 Amps, Four Pole 'C' series with over load and short circuit protection 10 KA Complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Old unserviceable material should be deposited to the MES E/M stroe by the contractor by his own arrangements without any finincial benefits complete all as specified by Engineer in Charge and GE.

Labour only for Heat shrinkable Straight through joint (including taking out old burnt/defective 1.1 KV joint) suitable for LT XLPE cable of following sizez 1100 volt grade heavy duty including digging, Indian / International Standards IS: 13573/1992/IEC: 60502 complete all as specified. Note :- Excavation to be paid seperately in respective item of work. Note :- (i) Old unserviceable material retrieved from site shall be deposited to E/M yard in his own arrangements by the contractor.
