Supplying and fixing DI Resilient seated soft sealing SLUICE VALVE of various dia. with body, bonnet of ductile iron (DI) conforming to IS-1865 and of grade GGG50, shaft of stainless steel, wedge fully rubber lined with EDPM seals of NBR and the valves should be vacuum tight and 100% lead proof with face dimensions as per BS 5163-89 / IS 14846-2000 / DN 3202 F4/F5. The stem sealing should be with toroldal sealing rings (minimum 2 “O” rings). Body and bonut should be coated with Electrostatically applied Epoxy Power Coating with minimum coating thickness of 250 micron both inside and out side. House Service Connections

Providing and fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, this included jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement, trenching, refilling & testing of joints complete as per direction of Engineer in Charge. (External work) 15 mm nominal outer dia .Pipes.

Providing and fixing PTMT bib cock of approved quality and colour. 15mm nominal bore, 86 mm long, weighing not lessthan 88 gms

Domestic Water meter

Fixing of water meter of 15 mm dia (Flow Controle Valve) and Surface Box including necessary excavation, fixing & refiling etc. complete as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. (Watermeter with Surface box and Flow Control Valve with all necessary fittings will be provided by the department). Contractor has to fix Watermeter with Surface box and Flow Control Valve with necessary tools and adhesive without any leakages.

OTHER COMMON WORKS

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix)

Excavating trenches of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth upto 1.5 m, including re- alingment of water supply pipe line like PVC HDPE, Electrical cable, Telephone cables etc. whereever necessary, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m : All kinds of soil :

Pipes, cables etc. not exceeding 80 mm dia.

Pipes, cables etc. exceeding 80 mm dia. but not exceeding 300 mm dia

Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete.
