CERTAIN REPAIR AND MAINT OF B/R WORKS IN SMQs AT MANDIR, PUNDIR, SEMI PUNDIR AND SILVER JUBLEE DOMESTIC AT BHISIANA UNDER GE (AF) BHISIANA

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles in any description and removing/disposal off from the site to outside MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for carefully chipping and removing loose, cracked or damaged concrete, including plaster, from columns, beams, ceilings, chajjas, fascias, fins, drops and similar RCC members, using a low-impact, high-frequency electric hammer/chipper or wooden hammer, without damaging the surrounding sound concrete. The work shall include exposing the existing reinforcement bars by removing concrete to at least 10 mm beyond the corroded reinforcement, cutting the edges of the repair area neat and square using an electrically operated diamond concrete saw, cleaning the exposed reinforcement and concrete surfaces thoroughly with a wire brush and removing all loose rust, dust and debris. Thereafter, the damaged portion shall be rebuilt with cement concrete (1:2:4), Type B-0, using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate, including providing and fixing additional steel pieces and galvanized steel wire mesh, wherever required, for proper bonding and restoration of the original profile. After initial setting of the concrete, the repaired surface shall be finished with cement mortar (1:3) to match the existing line, level and finish. The item shall include all materials, labour, tools and plant, scaffolding, form work, curing and incidental works, complete in all respects as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down cement plaster/rough cast plaster from brick walls/soffits of roof projections & chajjas /ceilings etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc including disposal of rubbish material to any distance out side MOD land complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 15mm thick cement plastering in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces including mixing of liquid WPC in mortar @ 200 ml per bag of cement of 50kg, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- WPC shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15 mm thick in CM (1:6) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces, finished even and fair complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 10 mm thick in CM (1:3) on concrete surfaces of ceiling, finished fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for rough cast plaster on exterior walls in two layers, under layer not less than 10mm cement plaster (1:3) (1 cement: 3 coarse sand ) furrowing the under layer with scratching tool, and while it is still in plastic state the roughcast mixture consisting of crushed stone or fine gravel aggregate (which is generally of size between 6 to 12 mm depending on the texture required) mixed with coarse sand and cement in the ratio of (1: 1: 1) shall be applied and finished even. The mix of cement and sand shall be made slightly wetter than normal for rendering to ensure that larger aggregates are thoroughly covered, complete in all respects and as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of ceiling by brooming down or by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash by using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed.
