Lightning Protection Arrangement with Earthing at Kakri Project. (Note- For detailed description please refer to scope of work section of NIT)

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 metre long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. (with charcoal/ coke and salt ) as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 metre below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing of lightning conductor finial (ligtning arrestor), made of 25 mm dia 300 mm long, G.I. tube, having single prong at top, with 85 mm dia 6 mm thick G.I. base plate including holes etc. complete as required.

Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required (For horizontal run)

Providing and fixing G.I. tape 20 mm X 3 mm thick on parapet or surface of wall for lightning conductor complete as required (For vertical run)

Supplying and fixing MV horn gap lightning arrestor as required

Supplying and erection of three piece nonlinear resistor typre lightning arrestor suitable for 3wire, 6.6kV overhead lines with rated voltage 7.3kV with a nominal discharge current rating of 5kAand complete with glavanised clamping arrangement, G.I. bolts, nuts, washers etc. as required.

Supplying and erection of single piece nonlinear resistor type lightning arrestor suitable for 3 wire, 33 KV overhead lines with rated voltage 30 KV (rms) with a nominal discharge current rating of 10 KA (station class) and complete with galvanised clamping arrangement, G.I. bolts, nuts, washers etc. as required

Providing and fixing 6swg dia G.I. wire on surface or in recess for loop earthing as required

Suplying and erection of 11kV Post insulator with G.I. nuts, washers etc. as required.

Suplying and erection of 33kV Post insulator with G.I. nuts, washers etc. as required.
