Excavation in earthwork in hilly area in all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetera and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of useful materials for construction at suitable sites and construction of dumping sites to be arranged by the contractor for safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in all leads and lifts to the dumping site, site in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in Charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not for 68.90 (Sixty eight point nine zero) Cubic Meter in all cases at the rate of Rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances.

Excavation in soil in hilly area for all type of road structure by manual means/mechanical means in all type of classification of soils comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock and chiselling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) including cutting and trimming of side slope and disposing of excavated earth in all heights and depths as per drawing and MORD Technical specification clause 1603.1. All useful materials such as stones, shingles, aggregates and slates etc. shall be sorted out and stacked along the road berms properly. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contactor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases including entire carriage of materials through all modes of transportation within in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structures such as Retaining walls, Breast Walls, Culverts, Drains & Parapets etc. in all type of classification of soil, comprising of ordinary soils, ordinary rock, hard rock, chiselling/wedging out of rocks (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing & MORD technical specifications clause 305.1, 1104 & 1606.1 and as per direction of the Engineere-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal upto all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom & backfilling in trenches with excavated suitable approved materials to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty millimeters) compacted thickness including shortingand strutting and pumping or bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto all depths and any quantom of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of execution of work shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete for plain/reinforced concrete 1:4:8 (one cement : four sand : eight graded stone aggregate crushed 20mm (twenty milimetre) nominal size in open foundations complete as per drawing and MORD Technical Specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material through all modes of transportation within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete Grade M 10 (Ten) nominal mix 1:3:6 (one cement : three sand : six graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty milimetre nominal size) concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete including form work as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying concrete 1:6:12 (one cement : six sand : twelve graded stone aggregate crushed 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802,803,1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying concrete 1:5:10 (one cement : five sand : ten graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm (forty milimetre) nominal size and curing complete including the cost of form work for plain/reinforced concrete in foundations and substructure as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete Grade M-15 (fifteen) nominal mix 1:2.5:5 (one cement two point five sand : five graded crushed stone aggregate 20mm (twenty milimetre nominal size) concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in open foundations complete including form work as per drawings and MORD Technical specifications clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge incuding carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Backfilling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall Granular material complete as per drawings and MORD Technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 and as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry/stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm (One hundred milimetre) dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slope of 1 (v) : 20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4mm dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS: 4826 in 100mmx100mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 per cent extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 25 kg. each as per drawing and technical specification Clause 1301 including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108:- 900mm dia. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes 53mm to 22.4mm (fifty three to twenty two point four millinetre) grading-III 75mm (seventy five millimetre) consolidated thick to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness,using template, hand packing, rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN (eighty to hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm (eleven point two millimetre) nominal size at the rate 0.18 cum (Zero point one eight cubic metre) and binding materials at the rate 0.06 cum (zero point zero six cubic metre) per 10 square metre (ten) and to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per MORD Technical Specifiation Clause 405 by mechanical means and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 Kg. (zero point eighty five kilogramme) per square metre using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 by mechanical meanms and as per directionof Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-I) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 Kg. (zero point two seven five kilogramme) per square metre on the prepared granular surface and cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per MORD Technical specification Clause 503 by mechanical means as per directionof Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and other incidentals.

Providing and laying 30mm thick (30mm) compacted thickness bituminous concrete with 30-40 PH batch type hotmix plant producing and average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of grading 11 to 13 mm nominal size specified grading premixed with bituminous binder VG -10 grade @ 5.4 to 5.6 percent or mix and cement filler, transporting the mixed material to site of work and laying with a hydro static paver finisher with sensor control to requred grade, level and alignment rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem road rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specfications clause No. 509 complete in all respects. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge (Nothing extra shall be paid for higher content of bitumen required as per job mix formula).

Reinforced cement concrete M 15 grade kilometre stone/local stone of standard design as per IRC: 8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc. as per drawing and Technical Specification clause 1703 . including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.5th Kilometre stone (Precast).

Printing new letter and figures of any shade with synthetic enamel paint black or any other approved colour to give an even shade as per drawings and Technical Specification clause 1701. including carriage of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts as s per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.Hindi (Matras commas and the like not to be measured and paid for Half letters shall be counted as half only).
