Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

A copy of valid KPWD-4registration certificate.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

To qualify for award of the respective contract, each tenderer in his name should have in the last five Years period (i.e. from 2021-22 TO 2025-26) Achieved in at least Two financial years a minimum Financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of value usually not less Than the estimated cost under this contract for works. i.e,Rs 1.68 lakhs

Eligible Tenderers will be qualified only if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender Value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under Assessed available tender capacity (A x N x 2.5 - B) (for General work)

Prior to awarding of work the Lowest (L-1) bidder should produce the original documents in support of the uploaded documents to enter in to the agreement. If the lowest bidder (L-1) does not produce the original documents for entering into an agreement then his bid can be treated as non-responsive bid as per Clause 26(4) of the KTPP Rules. The name of the bidder who do not produce the original documents shall be barred from participation in any of the tenders to be invited by KBJNL apart from forfeiting the EMD paid through e-cash.

The intending bidders are advised to visit the site of work, make themselves familiar with local situation about the availability of construction materials, work men, land required for construction activities, etc before submission of bids.

Incomplete tender documents will be rejected.

The contractors/firm shall send the authorization letter for their representatives duly attesting their signature.

Typographical errors, if any will not be the ground for any claims by the Contractor.

The contractor/authorized signatory should attach his/her scanned signature to the Schedule-B before uploading and also submitting their tenders.

If any of the dates mentioned above happened to be a general holiday, the next working day holds good.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Corrigendum will be published in the web site /newspapers for all modifications / corrections if any.

The intending bidder should note that, as the tender invited is on percentage basis, if the bid amount based on the percentage quoted by the contractor is less than the amount put to tender, the contractor shall submit the additional performance security amount equal to the difference between the amount put to tender and quoted amount in any form as per security deposit clause mentioned in the tender document. In case of contractor quotes the rates above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be withheld during the progress of work. The additional performance security will be released proportionately to the bill amount till the contractor achieves progress of entire work as per agreement

Contractor should abide by the directions of Government towards recovery of 1 %( or as modified by the Government from time to time) Cess from the contractors bill under the provisions of building and other constructions worker welfare cess Act 1996.

The amount put to tender mentioned in is exclusive of GST. The contractor is informed to quote his bid without GST and will be paid at prevailing rate.
