Preparation of black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen (VG-10) @ 5 kg/10 Sqm on prepared surfaces with mechanical sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam using 4% binder content using paving bitumen (VG-30) by weight of total mix laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using vibromax power roller of capacity 8 to 12 Tonne complete all as specified and directed (consolidated thickness not exceeding 75 mm) complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sqm paving bitumen (VG-10) putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder paving bitumen (VG-30) 9.8 kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30 mm complete all as specified.

M&L Bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (VG-30) contents by weight of total mix, mixed in hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with power rollers 8 to12 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

2mm thick, white/yellow hot thermoplastic road marking paint, confirming to BS standards 3262 with 20% of glass beads (intermixed) spread and laid by automatic mechnical engine driven machine, painting as in strips (continuous or breaking) as directed.

S&F road stud (Cat eye) of size 100 x 100x18.5mm fitted with ABS body with reflective panels DA-978 having load bearing capacity 25 tons complete all as specified and directed. Make:- GREEN LITE, DARK EYE, TEXA PLASTICS,SINOR.

Surface excavation n. exc. 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces to the required level, gradient or camber using power roller of capacity 8 to 12 tonne with and including watering as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 150mm thick soling (sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone , inter stices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne capacity power road roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates (Granite, trap, basalt ) of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required with road rollar 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for precast PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in kerb stone of size 15cmx30cm jointed in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Moorum/ red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layer n exc 15cm thick spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n.exc. 30cm thick watering, ramming/ rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc, n exc. 1.5m high from base complete all as specified and directed.

Bringing earth from in side the MOD land including cost of approved earth and carriage up to filling/ forming Embankment site complete all as specified and directed.
