PAINTING AND MARKING OF RUNWAY AROUND TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AT AFS THANJAVUR

Material and Labour for applying polymer modified emulsion on existing runway marking over flexible pavements for obliterating the existing unwanted runway marking to any width or girth including preparation of existing surface for removing all loose materials and cleaning the surfaces thoroughly complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for for removal of old unwanted paint markings by soaking the surfaces with water, sprinkle solution (mix of caustic soda and water) over drenched surfaces and using high pressure water jet by mechanical means in rigid portions of runway surfaces. The surface shoould be cleaned after removing all loose materials complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The non removable portions of paint surface should be thoroughly cleaned by using steel wire brush manually. (ii) Water working pressure shall be upto 220-300bar/2100psi. (iii) Water consumption shall be 8-10ltr/min. (iv) Pump speed 2800RPM.

Material and labour for applying one coat of water based road marking paint in as lines, dashes, arrows, letters, boxes etc on roads, pavements and the like including preparation of old surfaces exceeding 10cm wide using wire brush to remove old flaky / loose painting layer and clean the surface thoroughly complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per sl item No.3 here-in-before but exceeding 5cm but not exceeding 10cm wide complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of new painting with water based road markng paint including border marking white or golden yellow or any other color as specified such as lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on roads, pavement and the like exceeding 10cm wide including the preparation of the runway surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying one coat of white wash in walls / concrete pavement surface including preparation of old surfaces using wire brush to remove old flaky / loose painting layer and clean the surface thoroughly complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- White wash shall be carried out at an interval as directed at runway 07 & 25 and each coat shall be paid seperately.

Material and labour for applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on walls / concrete surfaces including preparation of old surfaces of any description over 10cm in width or girth not otherwise described complete all as specified and as directed.
