Material and labour for water proofing treatment to sunken floors of kitchen, toilets, laboratories, bath and WC's etc shall be as under:- (a) Application of Two component acrylic modified cementitious coating. (i) The surfaces to be applied shall be completely dry and free from containments such as dirt, dust, oil surface treatments and old coatings. Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared using abrasive blast cleaning or milling to remove cement litance, existing coatings and achieve a gripping profile that is clean, dry and free from litance and any other form of surface contamination. the installation instructions in manufacturer's published literature should be strictly compiled with, including but not limited to the following:- (ii) Chipping out any visible cracks in ' V- Groove' pattern as applicable. Special attention on this part cleaning of cracks and then filling those cracks with SIKA latex SBR 100 putyy/ Dr Fixit 302 SBR latex/ perma latex SBR / FOSROC Nitibond SBR latex/ Asian Paints latex as required. Final cleaning of surface with power grinder, wire brush, hair brush and vaccum pressure if required. (iii) Dampen all surfaces immediately ahead of application of Acrylic modified cemetitious coating of Sika Top seal - 107/brush Bond FOSROC/ Dr Fixit/ STP/ CICO. (iv) Whilst the surface is still damp from saturation (SSD), apply one coat of acrylic modified cementitious coating of Sika Top seal- 107/ Brush bond FOSROC/ Dr fixit / STP/ CICO of viscosity as per manufacturer's instructions. (v) Apply glass fabric sheet of Sika Fab 1/FOSROC/Dr Fixit/STP whilst the first coat is wet. (vi) Once touch dry apply second coat of Acrylic modified cementitious coating of Sika Top Seal- 107/ Brush bond FOSROC/ Dr FiXit/ STP/ CICO of viscosity as per manufacturer's instructions on the entire area. (vii) Second coat shall be applied after 6-8 hrs of application of previous coat and in the direction right angle to the previous coat. (viii) The waterproofing coating should be taken to a height minimum 300mm above the finished floor level on the vertical surface.
(ix) It is essential to cure acrylic modified cementitious coating immediately after application (minimum 6-8 hrs drying) for a minimum of 3 to 5 days to ensure full cement hydration and to minimize cracking. (x) A protection plaster (12-15mm thick) in CM 1:3 admixed with appropriate integral water proofing compound has to be applied on the walls. Admixture: -Sika Plastocrete plus/FOSROC Dr Fixit/STP/CICO confirming to IS 2645. (xi) Providing and applying a protection screed of 50 mm thick 1:4 cement sand mortar admixed with Sika plastocrtete over the applied water proofing coating on horizontal surfaces. Admixutre:Sika Plastocrete Plus/ FOSROC/ Dr Fixit/ STP/ CICO confirming to IS 2645. (xii) All the corners and joints should be pre-treated with elastic waterproofing sealing tape with a woven bonding mesh on each surface and an elastic expansions zone in the centre of make Sika Seal Tape S/FOSROC/Dr Fixit/STP. (xiii) The membrane has to be protected in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations until placement of concrete. The membrane to be inspected for damage just prior to concrete placement and make repairs in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
(xiv) waterproofing treatment has to be carried out through applicators authorised. (b) All the joints of pipes and traps within sunken portion shall be sealed properly by Epoxy sealant. (c) All CI traps in sunken slabs to be enclosed with PCC 1:1.5:3 (min 15cm) all round. (d) The sunken portion shall be filled with PCC 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40 mm stone aggregate) complete all as specified. (e) Providing drainage spout pipe GI 40mm dia bore light grade upto outside of outer wall (Approx 450mm to 600 mm long) including cutting to existing wall and making good the disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed. (f) Providing 25mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm grade stone aggregate as in flooring for laying floor finish all as specified. Note :- Item No 24(d), (e) & (f) shall be measured and paid separately under item No. 25 to 27 here-in-after.

(b) MCCB, four pole, 415V, 63 Amps, 25 KA with adjustable overload setting – 01 No. (c) MCB DP 40 to 63 Amp, 10 KA – 04 Nos (d) MCB SP 10 Amp – 01 No. (e) Indicator lamp LED in Red/ Yellow/ Blue colour – One set of three.
Notes : (i) The LT panel board will be fixed to the wall in the place of existing unserviceable panel board with suitable No of fastener and lugs, PVC insulated connectors, PVC sleeves including necessary civil work required to refix the panel as per standard Engineer practice and make the good disturbed surface to match with existing specification of wall. (ii) Taking down of old serviceable meter, recording of meter reading and refixing the same meter in new panel in their respective quarter is included in quoted rate. (iii) LT panel board should be make having valid CPRI type tested approved and as per IS-5039 of 1983. (A copy of valid CPRI type test report to be enclosed while obtaining approval from GE). (iv) SLD diagram for LT panel will be got approved from GE before placing the order and final diagram will be fixed on the front and rear door.
