Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/other reserved category as prescribed in the tender document.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The Bidder shall furnish EMD of Rs. 38,156.00 (Rupees Thirty Eight Thousand One Hundred and Fifty Six only) shall be furnished in the form of following modes of e-payments: Credit card, Direct debit, NEFT, OTC. Bids received without EMD as detailed above will be rejected.

Conditional bids will not be accepted.

The bid is of two cover system.

Aspiring Bidders/Contractors who have not obtained the user ID & Password for participating in e-Procurement, may now obtain the same from the website www.eproc.karnataka.gov.in

Form of bid (Annexure-A), Instruction to Bidders (Annexure-B), Form of Guarantee Bond (Annexure-C), Form of Contract Agreement (Annexure-D), Acceptance of important Clauses of Bid (Annexure- E), e-Bid conditions (Annexure-F), Self declaration by Bidder (Annexure-G), e-portal declaration (Annexure - H), Format of Under Taking for Employment (Annexure- I), Uploaded Documents (Annexure - J), Section-I, Section-II, Section-III are part of the Bid document.

The bidder shall quote in Indian Rupees only & Quoted in the website itself. The bidder should quote prices for each item inclusive of GST & other loadings / additional on FOR destination basis which considered as landing cost. The GST and other components of quoted price should be clearly mentioned in COMPONENTS of schedule at e-portal. Any clarifications regarding this can be had with HELP DESK of e-portal.

After evaluation of Technical Bid and whose offer meet the PQR and technical specification of the bid/bid in complete manner will be accepted and only such bidders Financial bid will be opened.

The bidders should have independent PF (Provident Fund) registration certificate obtained from PF authorities and remit the PF towards the labours deployed for work to their Establishment Code obtained from PF authorities.

The bid of the bidders whose contracts have been terminated / foreclosed in KPCL or elsewhere during last 03 years will be rejected.

The quantity of materials and work mentioned/indicated in bid may vary depending on the requirement at the time of placing of the work order. The bidder shall visit the site for assessing of quantity, type and specification of material required.

The scope of work includes the Replacement of Park O Pack seals, Inspection of Bottom and Turbine Guide Bearing, Spiral casing and Guide Vane bedding, Inspection and Cleaning of Stator and Rotor of generating units 2 & 3 at Gerusoppa Power House as detailed in Section III.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

The bidder should be Reputed Agency having sufficient experience in execution of similar nature of maintenance/overhauling/repair works in Hydro Power Plants in any Government or semi government or reputed organization in India. In proof of experience, Work Order with its Work done/completion certificate for at least one single Work Order which executed in last five financial years (ie. 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26) in the name of bidder with the Contract value not less than Rs.7,63,115.00 issued by the competent authorities shall be furnished. The value of the completed works shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the FY in which the tenders are invited.

Financial Status

The bidder should have minimum average annual turnover of Rs.15,26,230.00 in any two financial years of last five financial years (ie. 2021-22, 2022-23, 2023-24, 2024-25 & 2025-26). In proof, the agency should furnish annual turnover certificate/Profit & Loss Statement issued by Chartered accountant. Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the FY in which the tenders are invited.
