Taking down cement plaster on CC/Brick surfaces including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc. as directed

( M & L ) Rendering 10 mm thick on fair faces of concrete or brick surface with cement plaster 1 : 4 with water proofing compound apply neat cement slurry or as directed by EIC/SIC. Note- Water proofing compound will paid and measured separately

i) Preparation of the surfaces of the roof by cleaning with wire brush, removing old treatment, if any. ii) Brooming with Broom and finally sweeping with gunny bag. iii) Cutting the joints in ‘V’ shape and filling them with 1:3 cement sand mortar and allowing them for curing for 03 days. iv) Filling the thin grooves with hot bitumen and allowing them to dry. v) Applying a coat of hot bitumen of grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sq.m. over the area even and smooth. vi) Unrolling the roll of Polymeric waterproofing membrane over the coated surface and press smoothly to bond completely with the surface and no air bubble should be left under the membrane. The lap should be not less than 10 cm both horizontaly and vertically. The lap will not be measured separately. vii) Lap should be sealed with flame and blown bitumen thereafter. viii) Applying the IInd layer of the hot bitumenof grade 85/25 @ 1.20 Kg/Sqm. even and smooth on the polymeric membrane. ix) Removing the debris off the campus., x) Specification of the Polymeric membrane. a) The center core of the membrane should be 90 micron, with high molecular/high density Polythelene film provided both side with SBS/APP polymer modified bitumen with properties of high softening point., b) Top layer and bottom layer- Therofusible high molecular/high density polythelene film. c) Elongation- More than 300%, d) Weight- 3.00Kg/Sqm., e) Thickness- 3mm f) Make- Texsa India Ltd./IWL India Ltd./STP Ltd. g) Softening point- More than 120 C, h) Should not break at -15 C, i) Should not drip at 100 C j) Applying a coat bituminous base aluminium paint over water proofing membrane. k) The firm will ensure that no seepage occurs from the area on which water proofing has been done as per specification above. l) The firm will provide a guarantee for 7 years from the date of completion.
