Preparation of Detailed Project Report DPR for prevention from Nallah Bank Erosion

Mathematical Studies for evolving suitable river trainings / flood protection measures to different Nallah's in Diglipur, North Andaman. 1. Cross sections of different nallah's and its tributaries (for the reach under consideration) at an interval of at least 250m along the length and the data points along cross section extending from left bank to right bank preferably at an internal of 2 to 5m along the cross section. The cross section alignment details should be shown an index map preferably to a scale of 1:15000 including other information's such as Gauge- Discharge observation site, important structures like bridges, weirs, barrages, waterfalls etc. across and along the Khad's proposed protection works reach etc. the cross sections marked on the index plan should clearly indicate the zero chainage.

2. Maximum observed water level with corresponding discharge value in different nallah and its tributaries under consideration (preferably)at permanent structures bridges/ weirs, etc) for validation of model. 3. Topo sheets containing contours covering the whole catchment area of Nallah's / river and its tributaries. Grain size distribution of bed bank of Nallah's / river and its tributaries in the reach under Consideration. 4. Gauge- Discharge data for the Rivers/ Nallah's under consideration for the study including consideration for the study including maximum observed discharge with corresponding water levels in the reach under consideration. The water levels and the cross section levels and the cross section level should have same benchmark GTS/MSL. 5. 25/50/100 year return period design discharges off for different Nallah's and its tributaries in the reach under consideration and its hydrological computations. Otherwise, the catchment area of each nallah considered in the study along with daily maximum rainfall data for at least 30 years or more in the reach under consideration.

6. Any other relevant details such as details of level, spurs of any, siltation pattern in the catchment, sediment flow data of the river/ Nallah's details of existing bridges/ structures, DPR if any, etc.
